"The Demon Army is expanding, and we need to move quickly."

Aaron spoke in a firm and steady tone as he looked toward the distant walls of Haywire, and his eyes narrowed while observing the situation carefully. Even from far away, it was clear that the number of demons stationed on the walls had increased, and more figures were still appearing, which made the entire area feel heavy and suffocating.

The pressure in the air slowly intensified, and the soldiers behind them could feel it clearly.

Aaron did not hesitate, and he turned his gaze toward Ethan, Han, and Hale while giving a short command.

"I will take the lead, and you follow me."

Before anyone could respond, his figure shot into the sky, and in the next moment, he appeared above the city walls while releasing his aura. A powerful pressure spread outward, and it covered a wide range as if announcing his presence to everyone.

"The higher-ranking ones, please come out, because I don’t want to strike weaker ones at the beginning," Aaron’s voice echoed across the battlefield, and it carried both confidence and challenge.

For a brief moment, silence followed.

Then a calm but cold voice responded, "Aaron, it seems you have grown quite arrogant."

A handsome demonic figure rose into the air from the walls, and the moment Aaron saw him, his expression changed slightly.

"Luke..." he said, and his eyes narrowed.

However, Luke did not attack immediately, and instead he took out a scroll and tore it open without hesitation. In the next moment, several figures appeared one after another, and each of them carried a heavy and dangerous aura.

Ethan’s expression stiffened, and he could not help but curse under his breath. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"Fuck..."

All of them were Mythic rankers.

Two Orcs stepped forward with brutal and overwhelming presence, while two Beast Tribe warriors followed with fierce and wild auras. Behind them, several cloaked figures from the Church of Darkness appeared, and their cold and unsettling presence made the situation even worse.

But that was not the real problem.

Luke himself stood calmly, and beside him there was another figure whose aura was far more dangerous.

An Orc... at Divine Knight level.

Ethan felt a chill run down his spine as he sensed it, and even Han and Hale’s expressions turned serious.

"This is bad..." Hale muttered, and his voice was low but tense.

"What should we do now?" he asked while looking at Aaron.

Aaron did not hesitate even for a second.

"Run."

For a moment, Ethan, Han, and Hale froze, and they thought they had heard something wrong.

"What?" Han blinked in disbelief.

Hale also rubbed his ears wondering if he heard something wrong and looked at Ethan for clarification.

Ethan opened his lips to say something when Aaron voice echoed like thunder.

"Stop staring and listen carefully, because I am not joking, and we are leaving right now," Aaron said sharply while turning around.

Without waiting, he shot backward, and at the same time he gave the signal.

The horns sounded loudly signalling retreat.

Ethan for a moment wondered if this was a dream.

This guy decided to step ahead to aura farm but even before the war started he was already running away.

The sudden command shocked both the human army and the demons, but the soldiers reacted quickly and began pulling back in formation.

Ethan did not waste time and immediately followed, because he understood the situation clearly.

Behind them, Luke’s voice roared with killing intent, "Did you think this is your home?"

The next moment, he and the others gave chase, and at the same time the gates of the demon city opened as waves of demon soldiers rushed out to pursue them.

Han clenched his teeth and cursed, "What the fuck is this turn of events?"

The enemy lineup was completely overwhelming, and even if they were prepared, they could not handle such a force.

It would have been manageable if there were only Mythic rankers, but now there were two Divine Knights, and that changed everything.

Aaron glanced back briefly, and when he saw the distance closing, his expression hardened.

"Fine," he muttered.

"If you want to fight, then take this."

He stopped mid-air and pulled out a pendant while gathering energy, and his aura surged as he began to chant.

"In awe of the supreme might of the God of War, the invincible and undefeatable Lord of all, I hereby ask your favor."

BOOOOOOM!

The sky trembled violently as a massive silhouette appeared, and a portal tore open in space. From it, a golden-armored figure stepped forward, carrying a shield and a greatsword, and his presence alone shook the battlefield.

"I am the Captain of the Fourth Legion of the God of War Army, and the Gods have granted me permission to help humans," the figure declared in a thunderous voice.

Before the pressure could settle, another cold voice responded.

"Do you think we are here for a show?"

One of the cloaked members of the Church of Darkness stepped forward and performed a similar ritual, and dark energy surged as another figure emerged from the shadows.

A sudden shift in pressure extended.Power of darkness erupted from portal accompanied by flickering of dark bolts of lightening.

"Oscorn..." the golden-armored figure spoke.

"Lancelot..." the dark figure replied calmly.

For a brief moment, both sides faced each other.

Then the golden-armored figure said, "Good, this will be an interesting fight."

The next moment, both figures moved and collided instantly.

BOOOOOOM!

A terrifying explosion erupted, and the sky seemed to split apart while waves of energy spread violently in all directions.

Meanwhile, the human army continued to retreat, and no one dared to stop.

Ethan moved at full speed, and each step he took created a sonic boom as he pushed his body forward without looking back.

There was no shame in running, because if one lived, one could fight again, but if one died, then nothing would remain.
