After the recent battles, he had also leveled up five times. Each level granted him two Attribute Points, and since he hadn’t spent them, combined with his previous ones, he now had a total of twelve skill points.

After a moment of consideration, Levi decided not to put points into Surgery. The four Beastman Barbarians weren’t dead, just injured, so that Skill wouldn’t help the current situation.

’All into Medical Treatment.’

After only a moment’s hesitation, all twelve skill points were allocated to Medical Treatment.

[Medical Treatment 12: Each point increases the party’s health regeneration speed by 20%. Total increase: 240%.]

The moment he finished allocating the points, the bleeding from the Beastman Barbarians’ chests, which had been unstoppable just moments before, visibly staunched.

The two Beastman Barbarians with caved-in chests, who had been gasping for air like giant bellows, also began to breathe more steadily.

And with their recovery speed almost tripled, the condition of the four was improving before their very eyes.

"This..."

The onlooking Beastman Barbarians surged forward, their faces looking as if they’d just seen the Undead.

Having fought lions and tigers since childhood, they knew better than anyone how severe their four comrades’ injuries were. Survival should have been impossible.

But now, their chief had merely come over, touched them, and not only had the bleeding stopped, but their conditions were also slowly improving. Their lives had clearly been saved.

Most importantly, even their minor wounds were healing before their eyes, and their stamina was recovering at an unnatural speed.

However, while the bleeding had stopped for the two Beastmen with torn-open chests, the two gashes, deep enough to show bone, were still horrifying to look at.

"Jos! Jos!"

Levi shouted loudly.

Jos hurried over, his face full of adoration as he looked upon this peerless War God.

’That’s right. Only the term ’War God’ could explain the Lord’s prowess.’ He was now utterly convinced by what the Barbarians had been saying.

"How may I be of service, my Lord?"

"Do you know how to sew?" Levi cut straight to the chase.

Hearing this, the middle-aged, white-haired Swordsman’s gaze darted about—a rare sight—and he looked as if he wanted to speak but couldn’t find the words.

’As a Warrior, I handle swords and weapons, not embroidery needles...’

"Just tell me the truth." The Lord couldn’t be bothered with his charade.

"I do," Jos said, deflating like a popped balloon.

Though he hated to admit it, as a lifelong bachelor, he was not only skilled in Swordsmanship but also quite handy with a needle.

"When we get back to High Cliff Castle, I want you to heat a needle until it’s glowing, boil some cotton thread, and then sew up their wounds," Levi’s voice commanded from within his Iron Helmet, leaving no room for argument.

"Yes, my Lord." Jos was taken aback at first, but then he nodded, understanding Levi’s reasoning.

As a Warrior, he was familiar with suturing wounds as a form of first aid, but he didn’t understand the need to heat the needle. ’Usually, we just rinse it with clean water before use.’

"I’m leaving it to you." Levi clapped him on the shoulder, leaving behind a sticky, bloody handprint.

Jos, however, looked as if he’d received the highest honor and nodded gravely.

"Carry them back to High Cliff Castle. Let them recuperate for a few days."

Levi waved a hand, sighing in relief internally.

’I have no idea how to sew. In my past life, my mom always mended my clothes for me.’

’If Jos couldn’t do it, I would have had to ask Tina. Good thing my judgment is sharp; I could tell at a glance that an old bachelor like him would have to know a skill like this.’

With the system’s powerful effects, the four Beastman Barbarians were already out of danger. Now, they just needed their wounds stitched up, and after some time to recover, they would be back on their feet.

Facing the gazes of the Beastman Barbarians, who looked at him as if he were one of the Gods, Levi opened his system panel with a flicker of excitement.

The greatest prize from this battle wasn’t the pile of captured scrap metal, but the fact that High Cliff Castle’s warriors were once again ready for an upgrade.

When he was checking on the four injured Beastman Barbarians earlier, he had taken a quick glance and knew many were eligible for an upgrade, but he hadn’t realized just how many.

First were the Beastman Barbarians. The last ten or so Tier Three Beastman Warriors had all met the requirements to upgrade to Tier Four Beastman Warriors. Furthermore, nine of the Tier Four Beastman Warriors could now be upgraded to Tier Five Beastman Giant Axe Guards.

These nine were the ones in Iron Armor, the Beastman Barbarians who had charged the fastest and killed the most enemies alongside him.

Then there were the Feder Warriors, who had been firing from the hillside. Although their Jungle Bows had a relatively short range, firing from the high ground compensated for this weakness, allowing them to pick off the routing Wilderness Bandits with ease.

This earned experience for every single one of them. Because Tier One and Tier Two units require very little experience to upgrade, all soldiers at those ranks advanced by one tier.

In the end, aside from the four injured Beastman Warriors, High Cliff Castle had suffered almost no losses in this battle, yet its military strength had once again taken a huge step forward.

Elsewhere, Baisitina was tallying the casualties with a piece of charcoal and a thin wooden board.

As the Chief Steward of the Imperial Palace appointed by Levi, such tasks fell within her duties.

Although the battlefield was gruesome, Baisitina took a deep breath and carried on.

However, after finishing her count, she was stunned. Besides the four injured Beastmen, not a single person from High Cliff Castle had perished.

As for the bandits’ casualties, there was no need to count them.

"Levi, are you truly a War God?"

Baisitina couldn’t help but ask again.

His peerless prowess from before, combined with a troop disadvantage of more than ten-to-one, had somehow resulted in zero casualties.

This was something beyond human capability.

"A War God? Haha, that’s right, I am!"

Levi laughed heartily, readily admitting it.

’My combat strength is unrivaled. To this day, no one in a one-on-one duel has even forced me to use ten percent of my true power. On top of that, I led fifty warriors against seven hundred Wilderness Bandits and achieved zero casualties.’

’If I’m not a War God, then who is?!’

"Oh heavens, Levi! You must have been sent by the gods to save us."

Baisitina was like a devout, naive little Nun who had just met the God she worshipped. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Her sapphire-blue eyes, full of adoration, were a sight the Lord thoroughly enjoyed.

Levi, who still hadn’t had a chance to remove his armor since the battle ended, took off his helmet and cradled it in his arm.

Just then, the thundering of hooves echoed across the desolate, empty plain.

The flat plains offered no cover for the eyes; looking up, he could see two small black dots galloping toward the battlefield.

"Heh, looks like I won’t be taking this armor off today after all."

Levi sneered. The Wilderness had certainly shown him how chaotic this land was.

First the Wilderness Alliance Army, and now some pathetic opportunists popping up out of nowhere, hoping to pick the scraps from the battlefield. ’It’s been a real education,’ he thought.

With a whistle, the three Jackal Wolfman Cavalry, who had long since finished hunting down the last of the fleeing Wilderness Bandits, instantly mounted their Warg Mounts and rode out to intercept the newcomers.

Levi donned his helmet again and hoisted the now-chipped Giant Sword onto his shoulder.
