Planet Vs Aliens: Space User Saves the World
Chapter 100: Training Montages
The family moved quickly. Uncle immediately called the school, informing them that the twins could not go to school for two-and-a-half months due to various reasons.
There were naturally a lot of words exchanged, with the teachers trying hard to understand the decision. This was the children’s future they were speaking of, so the true educators were concerned.
In the end, he could only say that the twins got in an accident while abroad. He just hoped that they would count the credits for graduation. They literally just wouldn’t come to the university exams themselves.
Naia watched them go around and make so many calls with a soft smile.
Not only did they fully believe in her, even if it didn’t happen, they acted like they wouldn’t have minded.
Anyway, there was always next year.
Before leaving for the next leg of stockpiling—which would be in coastal cities—Naia began to train her family, tweaking their routines quite a bit.
Now that they knew what was coming, they naturally got more serious. As for the siblings in her space, she got them to train inside the space while doing their tasks there.
Having a magic space was one thing (with those two kids already barraging her with questions), it was still a bit much to show that she had two living human beings working inside it.
Anyway, there was no need for them to meet yet. It was better that they prepared with the thought that it was only their family, so they had to grow stronger at the fastest rate.
She added some more movements for them to train and do repeatedly, and she also added weights on them, but obviously nothing like what he wore.
The participants were not just the twins, but also grandma, uncle, and the little kids (and the dog). Naia was kind enough to customize their training program, to spike up their physique at the fastest time without damaging their bodies.
While they had the farm and the gardens to tend to, which was supposedly exercise as well, they still followed Naia’s instructions, especially after she showed off a bit.
How did she show off? By sparring, of course!
Only Hans and Uncle dared challenge her, both lasting an accumulated 10 seconds under her fists!
Naia herself was not weak and never stopped training since she arrived there. Even if she was on a trip, she’d spend at least an hour or two exercising in the hotel gym or inside her room.
Although her physique had somewhat increased after she arrived here, it was still not enough to handle the successive disasters well, and definitely not enough to feel safe around aliens.
Even if she were to awaken and her body would improve in turn later, that’d take time, so she needed to increase her physique early on. Having a good foundation would also have its advantages after awakening.
She had been dutiful in taking her vitamins and minerals as well, making sure her family was the same. She even gave away vitamins to everyone, not just among her family, but also among the villages.
Her cover story was that some pharmaceutical companies donated them. Since they were free, why not use them?
Everyone went into a frenzy of training the next few days, with Naia building a habit for all of them. Naia herself didn’t take it easy. She spent two to three hours running around the village with weights.
Other than the exercises, she would use much of her time in the forests, outside of people’s prying eyes, training her agility and survival skills.
She’d jump from branch to branch, rock to rock, trunk to trunk, and so on to train her body’s dexterity and adaptability.
At first, she fell down a lot, and she gained quite a number of wounds. However, her wounds had always healed much faster than others, especially when she stayed in space, so she didn’t have to worry about them so much.
She also practiced her archery skills. Marksmanship had been her specialty in the apocalypse, so she naturally had to take advantage now.
She even found wild plants like ginseng, ganoderma, and other rare plants that had yet to be found because villagers were afraid to venture out so far.
While traveling through the forests, she might also get some trees or plants of interest, and a few animals. If the patch of land had high biodiversity, maybe she’d take it with her as well.
Deep into the mountains, untouched by humans, this quality was indeed impressive. She took several hundred square meters of forest like this. It would be a waste not to.
When she went into her space, she was greeted by the sight of a wide forest. Looking up, she saw the sky similar to what was outside. She wondered how much the disaster and the changed outside world would affect her space, but she’d handle that when it came.
By this time, the siblings had also been granted access to the supply area. After all, they had to move crates of fruit and other produce to the stasis area. She reckoned they were there now, unaware that she was lurking around the expanded forest.
She studied the place further and was determined to add a bit of topography. Her forest area was mostly flat land because she transferred plots at relatively uniform depths.
She decided to add some hills and the like. Not only was it visually more dynamic, maybe it could also encourage things like wind movement. She could also use a bit more soil or rocks in her space so the tall 20-meter ceiling wasn’t wasted.
She went out with a curious heart, looking around for some isolated protrusions or small hills. After mining in Varma, the use of her space, including taking in plots of land, had become extremely smooth.
She reckoned she could take in larger masses now, so she did.
She settled for a protruding portion of the deep mountains. It was around seven or eight meters high, with about fifteen meters in its largest dimension.
She gasped, feeling her energy drained. It looked like taking in a hill was still not easy.
She sighed, resting against a nearby tree, and took a drink. But she wasn’t able to take more than two gulps when she heard some rapid footsteps and rustles approach her.
AWWWOOOOOOO!
Her eyes widened.
Wolves!
