Planet Vs Aliens: Space User Saves the World
Chapter 66: Grab! Grab Everything!
They hadn’t heard of the gunshots either. The insulation was really good.
Naia peeked ever-so-slightly, determining where the CCTVs were. If they were within the scope of the space, she’d use it directly, if not, she’d throw darts to destroy it. Either way had the same level of difficulty for her.
There were seven other men in the warehouse-like basement. They were hanging around on two tables pushed together, which meant that a third of them were facing her direction.
She thought for a moment and rummaged through her mind’s eye.
Only the one playing mobile games did not bother to look at the sound, and Naia decided to target him first.
When she teleported next to him, and she covered her mouth with a rag, he had no idea he was dead.
/You have been killed!/
The game sounded, just in time, and then she teleported again, this time, behind one of the crates directly opposite from her latest victim.
It was around this time that someone finally turned, eyes widening when he saw blood splattering all over the table.
"What—"
"Where!!!"
Before they could even pull out their guns—
BANGBANGBANGBANG!
Naia made her shot. If someone managed to point a gun at her, then she’d just move places.
In less than a minute, she was the only human left in that entire building.
This blink skill was really convenient for assassination.
Most of the enemies they had back then were just aliens, and those were not easily one-shotted like these men. The aliens also had sharper instincts, so she had not experienced satisfying "easy-but-righteous" kills like this in a while.
Hey, she felt a little proud.
After checking that everyone was, indeed, very dead, only then did she have the time to study the place.
It was a small warehouse underground. Its size was about half or a third of the usual warehouse above ground. There were many crates there, most of which were nailed shut and had to be pried open with a crowbar.
It was like that legendary blind box challenge. Feels fun.
Hopefully, nothing morbid comes out.
She wasn’t afraid of human heads, but she’d be sorely disappointed.
Creak!
"Oh."
Her pupils dilated in shock.
Fortunately, the first crate did not disappoint!
Weapons! There were several guns!
This crate alone had several pistols, desert eagles, glocks, and M16 Rifles, among others!
The guns used in her time were different and had been modified to deal with aliens, so much of what she knew about these guns were from Doogle rather than personal experience. She literally took images and then learned about them on site. She didn’t stay to study them all in this place, of course.
These guns would be useless against the aliens, but useful for everything else. They would also be modified by various engineers to be strong enough to handle aliens to some degree, so gathering these would absolutely not be a waste.
She gulped, eyes sparkling, and she went to open the other crates. She naturally wasn’t opening them one by one, but she took a few random samples to have more of an idea what to expect.
She excitedly rushed over to another crate nearby, opening it up, and saw that it was filled with grenades!
"Whoa."
Wow. The damned Seed Donor was braver than she thought!
When did that bastard get so brave? He actually dared smuggle weapons!? They probaby got it from Micara country, which was right next door.
One had to know that even owning guns without a license would subject someone to heavy penalties! If someone got hurt, even if it were a minor injury, because of the gun, then the owner could even go to prison! Even if they were not the one who shot, the owner would definitely get implicated.
It was quite interesting. According to Nadia’s memories, Houser was the type who was arrogant and a bully, but only against people weaker than he was. When it came to people stronger than him, and when faced with daunting risks, he was 100% a coward.
For him to be involved in this meant that he had a lot of confidence in his backer!
Speaking of which, if he had just bought this property off with cash from the start, then there wouldn’t have been such a big mess in the first place, right?
It was his mistake for being so stingy. Tsk, tsk.
On the bright side, this confirmed that the people she killed were really bad guys.
She was quite curious about how the damned sperm donor got involved in this at all, primarily in wonder if it would affect the case against him. Should she add a few more charges, just in case?
As for why he was suddenly in a rush to get this lot in his name, she’d later find out that there were rumors of this area being developed, and the government was planning to add more roads. These were false rumors though, but he did not know this.
Naia shrugged and opened a few more. This time, she chose random crates on the opposite side of the rooms and saw different things per sector.
There were antiques, likely from grave robbers. Some of these she recognized to be from her country, and they were probably trading them out. She didn’t care much for these.
What made her eyes sparkle the most were the bags of gems and crystals, as well as gold!
Anyway, she took every crate into her space. She just had to pile them all the way to the space’s ’ceiling’ to save areas.
She then went to clean up evidence by destroying the CCTV room and then lighting it up on fire. Then again, she should just light everything up just in case. Thinking of this, she went to her space and took one of the grenades there.
She opened the garage door so she could blink outside, and then threw a few grenades before closing the door.
BOOM!
