Chapter 134: Hudson Village

In the far east, towards the edge of the Orchid Province, a small village sat at the base of a small mountain, being the border of the province.

The village was weak, but they had managed to survive the fierce beast tide. This was only because the mountain hid them well, and the Village Chief was good at some illusory techniques that could conceal the village for a whole day as long as he was focused.

Recently, there was a calamitous earthquake that threatened to destroy the village, but thankfully, the earthquake ceased after a while.

Curious, the villagers had sent out their men after hours of tensed anticipation to check for the source of the earthquake.

Soon, it was discovered than an underground structure had been brought to ruin alongside the humans who were inside, becoming a grave for several hundred.

At first, the Village Chief was hesitant to let his people explore the ruins. However, his advisor had coerced him to take the initiative, which he did.

He didn’t regret it.

On the first day, they reported finding over a thousand priceless pills and cultivation resources. Then, they found several treasures and weapons of great durability and strength.

The Village Chief was overjoyed until he realized there was a downside. This ’ruin’ he had just robbed must have definitely belonged to an important group, and he feared that once the others linked to this group came around, his village would be razed to the ground.

Hence, he crafted a peculiar scheme. First, he bought a high-level storage ring, then hid all the loot in the ring. Next, he hid the storage ring in a small hole in the mountain, without letting a single soul know the location.

Then, he told his men to pretend they had never taken anything from the ruins, even at the cost of their lives. After all, if even a single person confessed, then the entire village would be doomed; their children would be massacred, and their wives would become sex slaves for powerful foreigners.

In this village where everyone valued their family members highly, all the men swore to never reveal a single thing even at the cost of their lives.

After ensuring that this was done, the Village Chief then spread the news of a ruin appearing in his area, and the possibility of it being a dangerous treasure trove.

Of course he continued to play mysterious, acting as if he didn’t dare enter the ruins with his men because they were too weak.

Naturally, once the news spread, all hell broke loose.

Several rouge cultivators, and even some small sects came over to sniff around the ruins.

In just a few days, another news was released. The ruins was actually a Reapers base, and the place had met an unfortunate end through unknown means with hundreds of unrecognizable corpses.

Although this news was shocking and spreading to the far reaches of the Orchid Province, not many believed it. After all, the Reapers organization had been known as an omnipotent evil hub for several decades. How could one of their bases get discovered easily.

Realizing that not everyone was interested, the small sects that had confirmed it themselves said nothing more and began digging through the rubbles.

Just as the Village Chief expected, there were squabbles between the sects and rogue cultivators over the treasures that they had found. Eventually, they would always come to a resolution and solve everything peacefully.

Everything was going just as the Village Chief planned. Exactly a week after the ruins appeared, Sera, Dera, Ariana, and Tamar arrived at the lively Hudson Village that was thriving with visitors.

"Everyone around here keeps talking about a Reapers base that turned into a ruin. Do you think it might be important?" Dera asked the others as she watched the people hurry past them.

The place entrance of the village was noisy with common folks and cultivators mingling.

Ariana glanced at them, then shook her head, "Important or not, it’s not our top priority. We should check this village properly and try to find Big Brother."

The others agreed with her and immediately entered into the village. Before entering, they were required to pay a fee of two silver spirit crystals per person, which was small to them. However, to common folks, it was a high price.

"The Village is taking advantage of the high influx of visitors to get more spirit crystals." Sera noted, her sharp eyes scanning the suppressed grins of the guards.

"It’s inevitable. After all, the village is the only residential area close to this so-called ruin. They’re milking out every benefit that they can," Ariana agreed with her as they entered.

Naturally, when four young women with ethereal, divine beauty entered the lowly village, their beauty turned heads in their direction.

"Uh... I’m not accustomed to these looks," Dera shifted uncomfortably.

On Winter Peak, no one dared to look at another disciple lustfully, talk more of Elder Mei’s direct descendants. However, in this lowly village, no one knew their identity, so anyone who caught sight of the young ladies was free to fill their eyes to their heart’s content.

"Ignore them. We’re searching for traces of Big Brother," Ariana stressed, walking through the crowd that unconsciously parted under her spiritual pressure.

Even other cultivators knew that this group of beautiful women were strong. However, just as there were wise people, there were equally foolish people.

After thirty minutes of searching the village and trying to find clues about Seraph’s whereabouts, the four girls had found none.

It was disappointing, but they could do nothing but restructure their plans and strategy.

Tamar looked at everyone and spoke, "I think we should ask the locals if they’ve seen any young man with white hair."

"That’s true. Very few youngsters have white hair." Sera nodded, then continued. "And if that doesn’t work, then we’ll have to ask around for rainbow eyes. After all, that is totally and completely unique."

With all of them agreeing on this, they were about to depart when a group of four, tough-looking Beginner Stage cultivators swaggered over to them, their smiles dripping with lustful intent.

"Yello, Yello, beauties," said the one with a bead around his neck.

He looked more refined compared to the other three, but he was obviously just as shrewd as they were.

His gaze was locked on Sera’s figure, especially her cold expression. In his mind, he was already violating her and forcing himself down her throat while she struggled to moan his name.

Seeing the lewd fire spilling from his eyes, Sera was tempted to freeze him to ice in that instant.

However, Ariana stopped her and stepped forward. She didn’t want to cause a commotion by killing a few scums this early. Besides, it wouldn’t hurt to interrogate these thugs.

"Have you seen a young man with white hair around? We’re searching for him."

Hearing her question, the guy blinked in surprise, then looked at the others behind him.

"A young guy with white hair? That’s odd," He said seriously, then his lustful smile returned. "We haven’t seen him, but as long as you’re sure he’s in this city, we can help you find him... on one condition, of course."

Sera’s expression darkened, but she stayed silent, letting Ariana handle the conversation.

"And what is your condition?" The silver-haired girl smiled chillingly.

Seeing the cute girl before him smiling, the guy felt his heart race. He immediately lost interest in Sera and wanted nothing more than to hug this cute girl naked and make her moan his name with a teary expression.

While he was lost in his own fantasies, he failed to notice how a sharp glint passed in her eyes.

And a few seconds, he regained his reasoning and answered, "You and your sisters... will serve I and my brothers for a full day!"

His chest was puffed out as he spoke, and he looked incredibly proud.

Ariana’s smile dropped in disappointment, and she prepared to ’dispose’ of these germs.

Before she could, someone hurriedly intervened.

Pa!

A heavy slap landed on the guy’s face, and he was thrown to the ground forcefully. The area suddenly became silent, as more eyes turned over.

The guy held his reddened cheeks are glared at the newcomer, only to choke on his own words.

’What is the Village Chief doing here?!’

Meanwhile, in a quieter part of the village, a small family of three lived in an old house with thatched roof. The family consisted of a young couple and their little daughter.

By fate, the family had welcomed a new member into their home over a week ago.

"Mommy, is he alright?"

The little girl asked as she clinged to her mother who still had her youthful appearance. The woman looked at the sleeping face of the handsome young man lying on the bamboo bed, then shook her head.

"I don’t know, dear. But I think he’s just sleeping for a very long time."

The little girl nodded at her mother’s words, then blinked as she looked at the ’sleeping’ man again.

His rainbow eyes were wide open.
