Yue Yihan nodded and went with He Liuzhang to the He Family’s home for a visit.

Chen Weisheng, who had been keeping a close eye on Yue Yihan’s movements, saw him go to the He Family’s home with He Liuzhang. His expression immediately turned sinister.

Before she had gone to find Xie Changning, Chen Weisheng had told her to describe her situation as miserably as possible.

The officer thought what Xie Changning said made sense.

So he didn’t pay it any more mind.

Xie Changning stood at the entrance, watching the two of them until they were far in the distance before she turned and headed home.

"Changning, are you all right?"

When Xie Changning returned, her house was already full of people who had come over after hearing Xie Changyu’s racket.
