Pregnant Cultivator, Doted by Big Boss
Chapter 317 - 315: The Real Danger (1)
Javier Sinclair hovered in the sky, his gaze sweeping over the Cultivation World below. The battle raged fiercely, and the Outer Realms Race was in full retreat. Yet, he frowned.
’Something’s wrong...’
The feeling of danger hadn’t vanished.
He tilted his head up slightly, looking toward the rift torn in the void. Just then, a giant blue eye poked out from it once more. The eye rolled about, peering at the entire Cultivation World.
The giant eye stared straight at him.
A voice echoed from the void rift.
"I didn’t expect to find someone so powerful among your lowly race. Why not consider joining us? I can grant you a place among our people. All you have to do is serve me, become my slave, and obey my commands."
Javier Sinclair let out a cold laugh.
He had dominated the Cultivation World for centuries, and this was the first time he’d ever heard someone so unafraid of death demand that he become their slave.
"Well, I’ve seen it all now! Are all you freaks from the Outer Realms this arrogant? Is a place among your kind supposed to be some great honor? You things haven’t even evolved into a humanoid form, yet you’ve got quite the mouth on you. I just wonder if your body is as tough as your talk."
As he spoke, he looked up, and power converged around him. A mighty force shot straight toward the eye in the sky. In an instant, the eye peeking from the void was ensnared by his power. It was ripped apart, blood vessels bursting, before it ruptured completely.
Simultaneously, a pained shriek echoed from the heavens, and the eye vanished. The next moment, however, another blue eye appeared in the void rift. This time, the voice that spoke was filled with rage.
"You’re strong. Your flesh must be delectable. Once I devour you, my power will soar! HAHAHAHA!" Amidst the grating laughter, the monster extended a colossal hand from the void rift, reaching for Javier Sinclair.
The aura was potent, radiating an immense pressure. Yet Javier Sinclair didn’t find it particularly threatening. ’So the danger I sensed isn’t coming from this thing.’
’Just where is it hiding?’
At this thought, his mood soured.
"Let’s hope your teeth are sharp enough."
As he spoke, he extended a hand, and a greatsword materialized within it. The world itself trembled. Javier Sinclair raised the massive blade and brought it crashing down on the giant eye.
Demonic Qi coiled around him, and the sky instantly darkened further. The only light came from the glowing eye, casting a sinister, unsettling pall. With a single swing of his sword, the monster lurking within the void rift was obliterated, reduced to ashes that scattered on the wind.
The moment the eye vanished, over a dozen purple eyes materialized in the void. They were nothing but eyeballs, swiveling to peer at him.
Javier Sinclair arched an eyebrow.
’So they changed color.’
Their aura was much stronger than the previous monster’s.
"You peasant from a lesser world! How dare you kill my kin! I’ll tear you to shreds."
Following the furious roar, seven or eight figures materialized before Javier Sinclair. Like the previous ones, these blue monsters had three eyes and inverted, triangular faces. But these were clearly different. Their eyes were purple, and they were far more powerful. ’They must be the royalty of this race.’
"Finally, some who can actually put up a fight."
"You lowly..."
One of the monsters began to speak, but before it could finish, it felt the power emanating from Javier surge. The pressure was so immense that even they felt the urge to recoil.
"What’s happening? How did this peasant get stronger? His power is still rising!"
Javier Sinclair remained silent.
’Hah!’
’What do they mean, "still rising"? I haven’t even gotten serious yet. The main reason is I’m afraid I’ll overdo it and punch a hole in the sky. Tearing the heavens is easy; patching them up is the hard part. After all, my abilities are limited. I haven’t learned how to mend the sky yet.’
"Die."
’They dared to come to my domain and treat Humanity as food. They should be prepared to never leave. We cultivators of Humanity have never been weak.’
Javier Sinclair swung his sword again. Some of the monsters were sliced apart before they could even make a sound. The others were simply annihilated by the sheer force of the blow, disintegrating into nothing.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw one of the purple-eyed monsters trying to flee.
"Heh, trying to run...?" A sinister smile spread across his face. This was the true nature of a Demon Cultivator.
"Purple eyes... I wonder if they’d look good set into a skull."
At this thought, his eyes lit up.
’An eyeball that big would look amazing in a decorative skull. What a shame. Why did I just kill them all? I should have gouged out their eyes and kept them. I could use them for my collection later. I could even make a skull for my wife to hang on the wall. Just looking at it would be so cheerful.’
With that, he declared, "I’ll be taking your eyes."
He casually slung the greatsword over his shoulder. With his free hand, he cast a spell that instantly immobilized the monster, yanking it back toward him.
"This power... No! How can you be this strong?"
Javier Sinclair sneered. "There’s a lot you don’t know."
"Let me go!"
"You dare, peasant from a lesser world?! Aren’t you afraid my people will raze this world to the ground?"
"What nonsense. Raze this world? You’d have to be capable of it first. As long as I am here, I will kill as many as you send. If you all came at once, that would be even better. Wiping you out in one go would save me the trouble of hunting you down later."
The blue monster, ensnared by his magic, struggled desperately to break free, but Javier Sinclair gave it no opportunity.
Javier Sinclair’s gaze locked onto the three eyes on its face. "Your eyes are quite beautiful."
As he spoke, he reached out and made a grasping motion. The three purple eyes flew from the monster’s sockets. Once free of the monster’s body, they condensed and shrank, settling into Javier Sinclair’s palm as pure purple orbs, like gemstones.
"AAAAHHH... YOU PEASANT..."
"You filthy..."
The monster was still screeching curses in a strangled squawk. The next moment, with a flick of Javier Sinclair’s wrist, it exploded. Its blood splattered on the ground, sizzling with corrosive power.
Javier Sinclair casually pocketed the monster’s eyes.
Seeing how well the battle was turning, the cultivators of the Immortal and Demonic Paths rejoiced.
They raised their arms and cheered.
Their morale bolstered, they fought with renewed vigor.
"Good! They deserved to die!"
"All hail The Exalted One! Long live The Exalted One!"
"May the Bloodfiend Den stand for ten thousand years! May The Blood-Venerate live for all eternity!"
Hearing the overly dramatic cheers from the Demon Cultivators below, Celeste Grant, who was also fighting the monsters, glanced up at the sky and smiled. ’The father of my child really is handsome right now.’
’I can’t fall behind, though.’
"All disciples of the Demonic Sects, kill them all!"
