Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 1569: Soul Warriors
Since the time inside the Soul Universe syncs with the time Kent experiences, whenever he is inside the tower, it also adapts to that time.
Thanks to that, when he spent over six years inside the tower with his wives, his three Soul Warriors had also spent that same time cultivating inside the soul universe.
Since the world’s limitations didn’t apply to them, they saw no restrictions and, knowing they would be embarking on a rather dangerous mission, they gave it their all to train and become better versions of themselves.
Their efforts, of course, paid off, since at the moment they were all very powerful, especially Bello, who was the strongest to begin with.
That said, even Calix had now become a force to be reckoned with.
After cultivating for six years, he moved from Root Immortal to True Immortal. This level-up was so great that everything about him had become overpowered.
His affinities had also become much more powerful than before. Now, his four affinities had upgraded from the Master stage to the Monarch stage.
Affinities: [Soul Monarch], [Shadow Monarch], [Battle Monarch], and [Forge Monarch]
While their use appears to be the same as before, they have become much more powerful in the sense that now, he can do more than manipulate, augment, or even transform souls.
It appeared his affinities had linked so closely that he could now use them as one.
Now, he can easily adapt to the attacks of an opponent, learn their battle style, improve on the copied battle style, and take it to the next level.
So if someone’s Saint battle style is copied by him, he can improve it and make it an Emperor battle style, thereby outclassing them in every aspect of understanding.
Aside from that, he can now transform the souls of those he killed into any weapon he desires with a mere thought. Previously, he would have had to use his Forge Master affinity to do that with the aid of his Soul Master affinity.
But now, he can easily transform Soul Spirits into anything he desires with a mere thought.
He can also transform into a shadow and attack his opponent through their shadows. This, however, links to his Soul affinity, allowing him to deal more damage on the soul level by merely attacking the shadow of his opponent.
As for the [Forge Monarch] affinity, he can create whatever he desires more quickly, easily, and with super precision. He can make weapons, ammunition, and all kinds of items without struggling as before.
Kent came to the conclusion that, with enough time, Calix could create a weapon strong enough to kill even a god. This thought came to mind when he learned that as long as Calix has Soul Spirits, he can create any grade of weapon.
Already, he had created some that Kent believed would be ideal for what he planned on doing next. Since he is going away for a while, he needs them to work behind the scenes to determine whether the mission to save Skull City would be harrowing or manageable.
But aside from [Calix], there is also [Kenna], who went from the Core Immortal stage to the Immortal King stage.
As for her, Kent is aware that her power comes into play when she slips into someone’s soul. Already, she had proved to everyone that she is lethal when it comes to Soul Arts, especially when she severed the slave links that the warlord used to bind his slaves.
Now, she has become even more dangerous.
She can enter the soul more quietly and easily compared to when she had to exert more effort. Her connection to souls has also grown to the point that, even without entering a soul, she can see its connections and sever them.
She is a Void Reaper, so her affinity for the Void has become much stronger. Now, she can use the Void more easily than before.
Just like Calix, she had also awakened more skills that would aid her in the long run.
The last of them, Bello, had now moved from the True Immortal stage to the Immortal Monarch stage.
Naturally, he remains the strongest simply because, after absorbing the soul of the Pseudo-God that Uncle Drake fought on Planet Skar, he had awakened some powerful abilities.
Now, aside from merely possessing the body of a slain enemy, he can take control over the body and abilities for 24 hours.
This means if he possesses the body of a demigod, he can use their demigod rank and abilities for 24 hours. He would have access to their memories and innate talents.
The best part is that if he manages to comprehend any of the abilities, he would be able to retain them after the 24 hours are exhausted.
Also, his connection to the River of Styx had now strengthened. He can summon resentful spirits more easily now. He can also send spirits over without much resistance.
Of course, with his connection to the underworld now stronger than ever, he had awakened a unique ability that Kent couldn’t help but wonder just how it would work in the long run.
[Call of the Grim Reaper]: Once every 66 days, you can call on a Grim Reaper from the underworld and ask of them a single favour. The Grim Reaper, provided it is within its abilities, would not deny your request.
Kent had no idea if this ability was broken or just plain insanity. However, he planned on finding out more soon enough.
Looking at all three of them standing before him, he nodded with a proud smile.
"I have a mission for you three."
They became eager to hear what he had to say. After becoming stronger, they all wanted to test their abilities, so a mission right now feels like a good thing.
"We are ready anytime, Master," Kenna said with a small giggle.
Kent nodded and started to speak.
"There is a city in this place called Stone City. They have two demigods and several Immortal Lords. Your mission is to infiltrate the city, find out just how deep their strength goes, and, if possible, kill as many Immortal Lords as you can.
Aside from them, it appears Lightning City and Flame City also want to rally behind them and attack this city. Do your best to either turn them against each other or kill as many as you can.
Lastly, find out whether other cities are rallying behind them in secret. To fight them, we must know who we are up against, so it is imperative to cover all bases and ensure no stone is left unturned."
They nodded.
"I suppose that means the Master won’t be joining us on this mission."
"Yes. I have to go somewhere, so you three must handle this mission. Use every means necessary to get results." Kent paused for a moment and said with a smile, "I would even be impressed if you three can take down a demigod or two."
His three Soul Warriors smiled weakly. "We might just surprise the Master," Calix stated, making Kent smile wider.
"Make it happen then."
They nodded, and before long, they vanished from the garden.
Kent watched them leave with a pleased smile. It appeared he wouldn’t be leaving Skull City unprotected. His Soul Warriors would make sure Stone City and its allies would have their hands full.
If only Kent realised that by unleashing his Soul Warriors, the three cities would soon know just how dangerous soul battles are.
