In the Eternal Mist Domain, Ling Yun’s clone stood on Peng Tianlei’s back, looking down at the crowd of people below them who were celebrating their victory over the demons.

They were able to fight the demons, but their battles were made easier by Ling Yun and Peng Tianlei’s assistance. However, the two of them didn’t appear in front of the domain’s residents, instead assisting them from afar.

"Are we going to the Spirit Martial Domain now, Master?"

"How long will we need to travel to arrive at that domain, Tianlei?"

"I’m confused about how those demons could suddenly come out of their hiding place and invade so many domains." Kong Bailing turned to An Yufei and Zhu Quezi. "Do you two know anything about this matter?"

An Yufei thought for a moment. "I don’t know for sure, but I suspect the movements of those demons are related to Ling Yun."

"Ling Yun?"

"Ling Yun defeated Xie Zuzhou’s avatar twice, and he killed the three people closest to that old demon in the past." Xin Xinghe and the others were shocked by this revelation. "I didn’t know him then, but I heard from some of his family that the Ancient Demon Race attacked the Thousand Beast Realm about three years ago, and he killed all three of them."

Xin Xinghe raised an eyebrow. "Is Ling Yun related to those beasts from the Thousand Beast Realm?"

"The leaders of that domain are Long Tianhuo and Feng Huang, and they are Ling Yun’s parents-in-law." Xin Xinghe, Yin Jingmo, and Kong Bailing’s eyes widened in shock as soon as Zhu Quezi said that. "His wife, Xiao Xiao, is their daughter."

They already knew that Ling Yun was different from other cultivators, including them, but they never expected him to have such a relationship with the two powerful beasts of the Thousand Beast Realm.

"Speaking of Ling Yun, why do you two call him by his name directly? Aren’t you both his son’s wives? Thus, you two should address him as father-in-law, right?" Kong Bailing asked An Yufei and Zhu Quezi.

"Haha," An Yufei and Zhu Quezi laughed awkwardly. "We just find it strange to address Ling Yun as our father-in-law."

Xin Xinghe glanced at Nu Huang, who was being surrounded by her four sisters. "Did you two choose that kid because he’s an elf?"

"I didn’t choose Huang’er, but he chose me as his wife when we first met." The three of them looked at Zhu Quezi in confusion. "I’m not clear about it, but I heard that people of the elven race will choose their partners if they find the truly right person. I didn’t accept him right away either, and we spent several years together before I accepted him."

"What about you, Yufei?"

"Huang’er also chose me, and I gave him the chance to approach me after Ling Yun healed me."

"I see." Ling Yun immediately opened the map, finding that all the demons that invaded the domain before had disappeared. He discovered his children preparing to enter the tower, so Peng Tianlei immediately led them there.
