Raising the Villainess Was Supposed to Be Easy… Right?
Chapter 22: Edmund-Sera Agreement
Edmund stayed silent for quite a while, then came to an agreement with Sera.
He sheathed his sword and no longer acted aggressively. Edmund walked along the main paving block path, entered Sera’s residence, and saw the luxury inside.
Many paintings were displayed on the walls, their patterns and styles different according to Sera’s taste when she bought them.
A long sofa was placed in the living room. Sera sat there and invited Edmund to accompany her.
"I thought you were busy with your work, but it turns out you aren’t," Sera said, putting away her magic staff and leaning back as she crossed her legs.
"Who do you want me to teach?" Sera asked.
"Leonor. She is... my adopted younger sister," Edmund replied.
"Who is she?"
Edmund stayed silent for a moment, still sitting on the long sofa while looking at Sera.
Sera’s eyes stared sharply, her voice firm and dignified.
"She is an abandoned girl affected by the monster invasion in Tuca Village," Edmund answered.
"Why did you adopt her as your younger sister?"
"That is because her power is demon mana energy," Edmund revealed.
"If I can train and protect her well, she can become an advantage for humans," Edmund explained.
Sera fell silent. Her eyes shifted forward while her hand supported her head.
Sebastian had already told her about Leonor’s uniqueness, but she had never expected that uniqueness to be her power.
"Is she a pure demon?"
"Half demon."
"That means her demon magic power is not at its maximum," Sera explained. "But if she can control two different powers, she can become stronger than humans or demons themselves."
"That is why I came to persuade you to train her. Your magic ability is the best in the Archie Region," Edmund replied.
"Don’t flatter me, Edmund. I won’t soften just because of simple praise. I’m already tired of hearing it."
I already expected this. She is stubborn.
"Then, what do you want so you’ll be willing to train her?" Edmund asked.
"With my status, I can give you anything you want," Edmund continued.
Sera stayed silent for a moment, then the line of her lips rose into a smile.
She started tilting her head to the side, stood up gracefully, and boldly sat beside Edmund.
"You clearly know what I want, don’t you?" Sera asked.
Sera’s slender hand reached forward, holding Edmund’s arm and starting to boldly stroke his broad chest.
Edmund’s body was warm, and the muscles on his chest and abs were so hard and strong.
A Viscount, skilled in swordsmanship, with a handsome face and fair skin, an athletic body, full of authority and responsibility.
Every woman dreamed of someone like Edmund. However, Edmund was always selective. He was not interested in the many women who always saw him through his status.
However, Edmund now was different from the Edmund of the past.
Edmund raised his hand and held Sera’s soft white hand. His grip was so strong, then Edmund boldly pulled Sera closer to him.
Sera was a little surprised. Her body was pulled closer, and her face was right in front of Edmund’s. The woman’s two eyes blazed intensely.
"What are you—"
"I know what a woman like you wants. I can see it clearly from your attitude and your eyes," Edmund explained, cutting off Sera’s words.
"You want me, don’t you? All this time, you have wanted to have me all to yourself."
"I never—"
"Can you imagine what would happen if I did it with you? Right now? Here?" Edmund asked with a serious expression.
Sera remained frozen in shock, her heart pounding rapidly as her face stayed close to Edmund’s.
She saw Edmund slowly leaning his face closer. Sera quickly shut her eyes, already knowing what was about to happen, as if preparing herself for something she never expected would happen.
Nothing happened.
Edmund moved his head forward until it was right beside the right side of Sera’s face, whispering softly into her left ear.
"Wait—"
"I’ll give it to you as long as you’re willing to train her. That’s my offer," Edmund whispered. His voice was gentle, and the warmth of his breath teasingly brushed against Sera’s ear.
Sera’s face turned bright red. Her eyes remained wide open as she glanced sideways, Edmund’s fragrance clouding her thoughts until she could no longer think clearly.
"A-Alright...."
"I’ll be waiting for you at Aschwin Mansion, Sera."
Not long after, the man said goodbye and left the place. The servants in Sera’s residence saw what had happened.
They felt jealous because Sera had received an affectionate act from a handsome man like Viscount Edmund.
After Edmund left, Sera immediately left the living room and arrived in her bedroom.
She locked the door and jumped hard onto the bed, burying herself in the pillow.
"Damn you, Edmund. I failed to dominate you," Sera whispered, "I will get back at you tomorrow."
After reaching his horse, Edmund rode away from Ulrich City to return to Archester City.
She will definitely come tomorrow. I have to try so she does not control me.
A woman’s heart... really is the weakest.
He rode fast across the road between cities until he fully arrived in Archester City.
He stopped his horse when he arrived at Aschwin Mansion, then walked around the mansion to reach the back yard.
Sebastian, Nisya, and Irana were there. Edmund also saw the four teachers training Aya and the others.
When Edmund arrived, Leonor immediately noticed and hurriedly ran toward him.
"Where is my teacher?" Leonor asked.
Edmund smiled, crouched, and stroked Leonor’s dark-red curly hair, "She will come tomorrow."
"So, you and Sera have reached an agreement?" Sebastian asked.
The man turned and nodded. An agreement had been made between Edmund and Sera through a kiss.
However, Edmund clearly could not tell them the truth, and Sera would not possibly tell them either.
"More or less," Edmund answered.
"That was pretty fast. How did you handle that witch?" Sebastian asked.
"It wasn’t easy. I attacked her directly at her weak point," Edmund answered, crossing both arms.
"She will come here because Leonor has her own uniqueness. Her training will be more intense than the others," Edmund said.
Edmund turned and looked back at Leonor, "You don’t mind, right?"
"Of course not. I’m actually happy if I can train in magic."
