Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap
Chapter 1095: Can We Just Talk Instead of Getting Physical from Now On?
Because of Benjamin’s sudden departure and the day’s events, Easton Holmes, Ryan Taylor, and Thomas Fisher lost their mood for drinking. After chatting briefly, the three of them left the bar.
"Are you calling a driver, or should I take you home?" Among the three, only Thomas had been drinking. The other two hadn’t touched a drop. Easton stood by his car, asking Thomas for his opinion.
"I’ll call Beckett Yates to come over." Thomas didn’t choose either option. He took out his phone from his pocket and called his driver, Beckett Yates.
Easton and Ryan didn’t drive away immediately. Instead, they sat in their car, waiting with Thomas until Beckett arrived. Once Beckett arrived, both of them felt at ease and drove away.
"Take me home!"
After telling Beckett, Thomas leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes, pretending to take a nap. He hadn’t drunk enough to be drunk. His mind was clear. He was going home to talk to his parents about him and Alice.
Rather than letting them hear it from someone else, he’d rather go back and tell them honestly himself.
"You punk! Where’d you stay out all night last night?" As soon as Thomas approached the living room entrance, Autumn York’s questioning voice hit him.
Besides Autumn, Thomas didn’t see his father, Cedric Fisher, in the living room. He looked around the hall before walking over to Autumn sitting on the sofa. "Is Dad still not back?"
He asked while walking over and sat down beside his mom.
"You punk! Have you been drinking again?" Autumn smelled the alcohol on Thomas and immediately frowned. She poked his head with her finger, "How many times have I told you, if you can avoid drinking, just avoid it. But you seem to reek of alcohol every day."
As she spoke, she gave his head another annoyed poke.
"Mom! Isn’t that a bit of an exaggeration? I don’t drink every day." Thomas brushed away her hand that was poking his head. His mom was never light-handed, and he worried if he didn’t move her hand, his head would end up with a hole.
Autumn raised her hand to poke again, but this time, it missed. Before she could reach over, Thomas had moved aside. Her hand didn’t reach him.
"You brat! Quick dodge." She pointed her finger at him in anger but didn’t get up to follow him.
"If I don’t dodge quickly, my head would soon be full of holes." Thomas looked at Autumn’s pointing finger with discontent, helplessly pouting. "Mom! Could we stick to just talking without the hands in the future?"
Since he could remember, his mom always used both words and hands on him, but when she was truly angry, she didn’t use her hands.
He was very curious about how she controlled herself.
Autumn’s eyes widened: "No way! Unless... unless you bring me a daughter-in-law."
Ever since knowing Thomas had someone in mind, Autumn was full of curiosity about this person, always wondering what she was like.
"I’ll bring her home for you to see in a couple of days." This was a decision Thomas made on the way home. He wanted to bring Alice back to meet his parents soon.
