Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap
Chapter 1156: Just Take It Out Yourself
Seeing Alice Turner’s expression improve a lot and looking much less angry, Thomas Fisher finally relaxed his tense heart and reached out to pull her closer, who had been keeping a certain distance from him, "I’m sorry, next time I kiss you, I’ll make sure to kiss properly and promise not to bite you again."
As he spoke, his left hand was already on her pink lips, gently rubbing with his thumb.
"You’re so annoying, don’t touch me."
Alice Turner slapped away the hand rubbing her lips and turned her head to give the hand’s owner a glare, then she raised her foot and walked towards the office door. But as she lifted her foot, she realized she couldn’t walk at all; her hand was still being held.
"You..."
"I’ll see you off."
Before Alice could finish her sentence, Thomas directly took the lead in speaking, switching to a pleasing smile. He held her hand as they left his office, not letting go until they reached the underground parking lot.
As soon as Alice’s hand was released, she immediately headed toward her car. When she reached the front of her car, she suddenly remembered she had forgotten to ask Thomas for the keys, so she turned to look at him, standing still where he hadn’t followed along.
"The keys." She didn’t return but stood beside her car, reaching out her hand to him for the keys.
"I want to drive you back." Thomas honestly didn’t want Alice to drive off in her car, but he also worried that stopping her would make her angry, so he tried to compromise by saying he’d like to drive her back.
Seeing that the man didn’t mean to come over to give her the keys, Alice stepped towards him. She stopped half a meter in front of him, "The keys."
She repeated her earlier gesture, reaching out for the keys from the man.
"Do you really not want..."
"No, hurry and give me the keys."
Thomas’s words were immediately stopped by Alice. After a few seconds, seeing he still hadn’t moved, she stepped forward half a step, leaned closer to him, and reached into his pocket to grab the keys.
Thomas hadn’t anticipated Alice’s move at all, but he didn’t stop her, didn’t even speak up to halt her. He just looked down as she rummaged through his pocket.
Not finding her car keys in his coat pocket, her hands shifted to his pants pocket, and upon finding nothing in one, she moved to the other.
As she reached in, she sensed something wrong as her fingertips touched something unexpected, causing her cheeks to flush slightly. Her hand, as if electrically shocked, swiftly retracted from the pocket.
"Hurry up and give me the keys." Alice spoke with lowered eyes, too embarrassed to look at the man before her, and too hesitant to reach into his pocket again for fear of touching something she shouldn’t.
Thomas was very much aware of the changes in his body, but he wasn’t shy like Alice. He didn’t even feel awkward, naturally looking down at the shy her, "Weren’t you going to take it yourself? Go ahead."
As he spoke, he subtly leaned closer to her.
"I don’t want to, you take it out for me." Alice continued to lower her eyes, not daring to look at Thomas, instinctively placing both hands behind her back. She dared not randomly reach into his pocket again, fearing to touch something unintended once more.
Thomas didn’t comply with Alice’s request to take out the keys, maintaining the previous stance. He looked down at her, "The keys are in that pocket; you can just take them out yourself."
