Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap
Chapter 1171: You’re Making It Hard for Me to Breathe
Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner each drove their own cars, one before the other, to Thomas Fisher’s apartment.
"I really don’t think you need to take these things, because you’re going to move in with me sooner or later." They had already entered the elevator, and Thomas Fisher was still trying hard to persuade Alice Turner not to take her things away. He had already planned his proposal ceremony; as soon as the custom-made ring was ready, he could propose to her.
Once the proposal is successful, he’ll marry her right away, so he can see her day and night.
Alice Turner seemed as if she hadn’t heard what Thomas Fisher had just said, lowering her head to stare at her own feet, appearing to be engrossed in admiring her shoes.
"Alice! Are those shoes you just bought today?" After waiting for a long time without receiving a response from Alice Turner, Thomas Fisher turned to her side and realized she was staring at her shoes. He waved a hand in front of her eyes, trying to draw her gaze and attention to him.
A hand suddenly flashed in front of her, and Alice Turner instinctively blinked and turned her head toward the man standing beside her. As she looked at him, her entire demeanor returned to normal. "You’re awful!"
She looked at him, with countless words in her heart that she wanted to say, but at this very moment, she couldn’t say anything. She just wanted to quietly look at him and imprint his image deeply in her mind.
"Alice! Why are you looking at me like that? Do you think I’m much more attractive than those shoes?" Thomas Fisher suddenly leaned closer to Alice Turner, with the corners of his mouth slightly raised. "Does a closer view make it even better?"
He gazed into her eyes, the curve of his lips turning into a wider smile.
Alice Turner raised her hand to push away the man who had leaned closer, and as she did, she also stepped aside. "Being this close makes it hard for me to breathe."
With him looking at her so closely, she couldn’t guarantee that he wouldn’t notice anything.
"Is it hard to breathe already? Well, how about this?" Thomas Fisher tugged Alice Turner’s wrist to draw her closer, and the evasive woman fell obediently into his embrace. To prevent her from slipping away again, he wrapped her hand around her waist, fixing her in his arms.
Alice Turner instinctively raised her other hand against Thomas Fisher’s chest, preventing him from further action. "Don’t do anything crazy; we’re in the elevator."
Just as she finished speaking, she felt him press closer to her.
"Does that mean when we’re home, I can do whatever I want?" Thomas Fisher’s eyes gleamed with flirtatious intent, staring unblinkingly at the woman in his arms. With their close proximity, he could feel her breath.
The her breath stirred his senses, causing his breathing to become erratic in an instant.
Alice Turner, held in the man’s embrace, felt her cheeks instantly grow hot. "You’re awful, I didn’t mean that..."
Ding!
At this moment, the elevator reached the floor they were headed to.
As soon as the elevator doors opened, Thomas Fisher pulled Alice Turner out without saying a word, striding toward his home.
"Mmm!"
Upon entering the house, before the lights could be turned on, Alice Turner was pinned against the door by Thomas Fisher, who bent down and kissed her instantly.
His kiss was sudden, fiery, and urgent; she didn’t have time to react before being overwhelmed by his fervent embrace.
