When Lily Turner spoke up, Callix Linton understood her intention immediately. In an instant, he calmed down and stopped arguing with Amelia Linton, cooperating with Lily as they walked out of the room. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

"What do you want to eat? Grandpa’s treating you today." He found this child so sensible and increasingly lovable.

"How can I let you treat, Grandpa? I should be the one..." Lily suddenly remembered she didn’t even bring her bag, let alone treat someone to a meal, "Grandpa! Please wait a moment, I’ll go get my bag."

With that, she hurried back to grab her bag and phone.

"The little seductress! Even the elderly aren’t spared."

As Lily walked out with her bag and phone, she heard Amelia mutter under her breath as she passed by her.

She was taken aback for a moment, but she didn’t stop. She pretended not to hear and continued walking towards the door as if nothing had happened.

"Grandpa! We can go now."

Lily didn’t distance herself from Callix because of Amelia’s words; instead, she affectionately linked arms with him. As she walked out of the room, she glanced back at Amelia.

Watching the two people walk out arm in arm, Amelia bit her lip in anger, her hands hanging by her sides clenched into fists.

Lily Turner! You little seductress, I won’t let you succeed.

Lily, walking out the door, could imagine how angry and jealous Amelia was at this moment, but she was furious too.

How could she say that about me? A seductress! Who am I seducing?

Even if she says that about me, fine, but dragging her elderly father into this too—what kind of daughter does that?

"Mr. Linton!"

Seeing Callix and Lily coming down from upstairs, the waiting guard, Dash Zeller, approached to assist him.

"Go back and have your meal, we’re just going out for a stroll."

Callix dismissed Dash and the two of them left the Military District Compound. They didn’t go far, choosing to sit at a breakfast spot nearby.

By then, the breakfast rush had passed, and there weren’t many customers in the shop.

"Grandpa! What do you like to eat?" As soon as they sat down, Lily asked.

"Buns and tofu pudding!"

Callix didn’t hold back with Lily, immediately stating his favorites.

Lily rarely ate out, especially for breakfast. After glancing at the breakfast menu, she ordered a sugar-free Mixed Porridge for herself.

"Is that all you’re going to have? Didn’t you say you didn’t eat dinner last night?" Callix pointed at the Mixed Porridge in front of Lily with his chopsticks, remembering clearly that she had said she hadn’t eaten dinner the previous night.

Lily nodded, "I didn’t have dinner last night, but I ate bread."

Dinner wasn’t essential for her, and if she hadn’t gone the whole day without eating, she wouldn’t have had that bread and a cup of milk last night.

"Grandpa! Quickly eat, or the buns will go cold." Before Callix could persuade her to eat, Lily spoke up first.

Though Lily beat him to it, Callix didn’t give up on urging her to eat. He pushed the plate of buns towards her, "Have some buns too. If it’s not enough, we’ll order more."

"Grandpa! I don’t..."

"Lily Turner! Are you really Lily Turner?!"

A clear exclamation suddenly came from nearby, and Lily instinctively turned her head towards the voice.
