 It was around 4 a.m. when I woke up, the sky still dark outside, a bit of chill in the air.
 Turning around and sitting up on my bed, I reached for my phone and switched it on.
 Not waiting for the phone to finish booting, I dropped it and, stripping, stepped into the bathroom, taking a much-needed bath.
 When I stepped out, I put on some shorts and immediately hit the kitchen, searching for something to eat.
 A few minutes later, I had something in my belly and was at my desk studying.
 I remained seated at my desk for the next two hours and then began preparing for school.
 Only when I went down to my Maserati, ready to drive to school, did I take out my phone and read the notifications.
 As expected, I had several missed calls, 6 from Denise, 9 calls and a message from Sade, none from Nadia and none from Annie.
 As I started the car and drove onto the road, I placed a call to Denise.

 There was silence on the other end from Denise, the woman having trouble staying calm, considering who her protégé was with and the brutal actions the woman had carried out the previous day.
 "What exactly would justify the things Martha did, Sir?"
 "There is no justification here, just survival.
 Have you handled the loose matters pertaining to Nadia and Martha’s identities here in Los Angeles?"
 "Yes, I have a team filling in for her. But Sir, how long will they remain missing?

 Reaching school, rather than head for my department, I arrived in front of the library and, heading inside, navigated myself to a familiar spot, coming before a table that hosted a beautiful dark-haired lady.
 Seeing the woman miss my presence, entranced by whatever she was reading, I silently pulled out a seat and took my book out.
 The exam for today was scheduled to happen by 10 a.m., so I currently still had some hours before I would need to head out of the library.
 The upcoming exam centered around AI, and honestly, for this topic, I already felt that with my preparation earlier this morning, I was well-prepared, but it never hurts to revise.
 "Man, I have to be the worst lover ever in history," I told myself as my eyes roamed over a diagram displaying the interconnection of different-level neural networks.
 I mean, first I lost Lucy and was still yet to find her, and now, in one fell swoop, I lost Martha, Valera, and Nadia.
 In one fell swoop, I lost three women, having no idea where they were, what they were doing, not even knowing if a particularly unstable one had killed the others.
 I honestly wanted to revise, but the problems I had successfully put out of my mind throughout last night and early this morning came strolling in, and my mind could only wander off.
 I was lost in my thoughts when a pair of arms gently wrapped around my neck, and looking to the side, I was met with Sade’s worried expression.

 "Everything is fine," I swiftly replied, putting my hands on her arms, finding it a bit weird that Sade would display affection for me in such a public space.

 I had just shrugged off Sade’s unexpected actions when the girl bent and brought her face closer to mine, leaning in and mashing her lips to mine.
 Our lips remained innocently pressed against each other for a while, and then they parted, clamping onto the other’s lips, our tongues coming out to play.
 Showing no fear or restraint, Sade offered her lips to mine, her mouth parting so my tongue could invade and explore every corner of it.
 The woman pressed herself to me, and then, when our lips parted, she looked at me with eyes lost and full of lust.
 "Is this why you texted me to come here?"
 "I don’t know.
 You didn’t communicate with me for the past days, and I was sad. But then yesterday, you didn’t show up to class and didn’t pick my call.
 I thought something had happened to you..."
 On her own, Sade went silent mid-sentence and then began licking her lips. With a sigh, I directed the girl, bringing her to sit on my laps, my right arm going around her waist while my left settled on her left boob.
 "You’re horny," I simply stated, and immediately, a red blush came to her face.
 "Maybe," Sade suddenly found her nails interesting.
 "How was the exam yesterday?" I asked as my hand went up to the swell on her chest, grabbing a mound through the thin black dress she wore.
 Sade first froze up, shocked at my action, and then, looking behind her to make sure there was no one in sight, she turned to me, speechless.
 "You haven’t answered me. How was the exam?"
