"Chairman Cole has always been fair and strict, perhaps he doesn’t want you to use his name to do anything," James Reed explained on behalf of Frederick Cole, "It’s right of him not to use his connections for his children."

"Bullshit!" Hayley Cole cursed as soon as she heard this, "Back when Jason and Mia joined the training camp, dare you say he never used his connections?"

"If he indeed didn’t use his connections, how come Jason became a manager at such a young age! And Mia, though a woman and not old, became a vice president!"

"You’re telling me they didn’t rely on connections to climb up the ranks? Who are you trying to fool?" Hayley Cole became increasingly angry, "It’s just because I’m not his biological child."

"Hayley, you might not like what I’m going to say, but I still want to advise you. Our fate is like this, it’s destined for us. Don’t fight anymore," James Reed’s depressed mood didn’t convince Hayley Cole to give up, instead, it aroused her rebellious spirit.

After all, James Reed was with Old Mrs. Wilson and Benjamin Walton; not winning the bid was embarrassing enough for her, how could she face those two?

She should go back first to sort things out; anyway, she wouldn’t let this matter slide easily.
