Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 983: Uneasy Heart
Frederick Cole didn’t speak, just looked at her.
Such a calm gaze, in turn, made Hayley Cole feel uncomfortable, as if a rough rope was wrapped around her heart, grinding it painfully.
"Are you trying to kick me out of the Cole Family? You’ve finally shown your true colors, got my mom, and now you’re going to drive me, the burden, away!" In extreme fear, Hayley Cole couldn’t care to be afraid anymore and hysterically shouted facing Frederick Cole.
"You let Sophie Wilson get chosen just to punish me, didn’t you? I’m telling you, your little scheme has failed. I won’t let you get your way!" Hayley Cole said, turned around, and slammed the door as she left.
Even the loud noise reached Hazel Bennett in the kitchen downstairs cooking, startling her to rush out, wiping her hands nervously on her apron, and quickly heading toward the stairs.
Before she reached the stairs, she saw Hayley Cole, face streaked with tears, rushing down.
"Hayley, where are you going?" Hazel Bennett hurriedly stopped Hayley Cole, asking worriedly.
"Go ask your wonderful husband! He’s going to kick me out! There’s no place for me in this house anymore! He’s finally shown his true colors!" Hayley Cole yelled loudly at Hazel Bennett.
Hazel Bennett never expected to hear such an answer, she hastily comforted Hayley Cole, saying, "No, that’s impossible. You misunderstood. I’ll go ask your dad."
"What dad? He’s not!" Hayley Cole shouted angrily.
"Frederick, what’s going on here?" Hazel Bennett gave a puzzled look toward Frederick Cole standing on the stairs and asked.
"If she wants to leave, let her leave." Frederick Cole said.
Hazel Bennett stared in shock with wide eyes.
After hearing that, Hayley Cole shuddered and yelled at Hazel Bennett, "See? He just wants to kick me out!"
"Haven’t you always said we’re not a family? If we’re not a family, then how can you be kicked out?" Frederick Cole’s words left Hayley Cole speechless.
Hazel Bennett never thought Frederick Cole would say such a thing, she looked at him in a daze, he wasn’t an indifferent person, what had happened today?
Hayley Cole used a cold laugh to mask her panic, yelling at Hazel Bennett, "Are you satisfied now? You can enjoy your life here, be the politician’s wife, and I, the burden, am finally not your problem. Are you happy?"
"Hayley, it’s not..." Every word from Hayley Cole became the sharpest dagger, stabbing Hazel Bennett mercilessly, in an instant, leaving her bleeding profusely.
"Get out of my way!" Hayley Cole pushed Hazel Bennett aside.
"Hayley!" Hazel Bennett shouted, rushing forward to stop her.
At this moment, Frederick Cole had already quickly walked down, grabbing Hazel Bennett, and said in a deep voice, "Let her go!"
"Frederick, Hayley she..." Hazel Bennett turned, pleadingly looking at Frederick Cole, if Hayley left on her own, how would she survive?
Frederick Cole didn’t look at Hazel Bennett but rather looked at Hayley Cole who, after rushing out, stood there and asked, "Didn’t you say you wanted to leave? Why are you standing here?"
"Fine, I’ll go! Don’t ever beg me to come back!" Hayley Cole turned around, yelled that, and ran out.
Tears fell in torrents, why?
Why could he drive her away?
