"What’s wrong?"

Xuexue turned around with a smile and asked the Emperor.

The Emperor, heavy with suspicion, definitely believed that she had plotted to harm the Empress Dowager. After all, she was War Prince’s woman, and the Emperor had always guarded against the War Prince as if he were a thief, so naturally, he would not truly trust her.

The Emperor widened his eyes looking at Xuexue, then glanced at the Fourth Prince beside him, expressing disbelief. His Empress Mother had been restless these days; even when the Imperial Physicians prescribed sleep-inducing medicines, the Empress Dowager would wake up after four hours, glaring wide-eyed and refusing to sleep again.
