Reborn As A Ghost: Time To Build My Undead Army!
Chapter 1911: Tyr’s Resurrection
-----
Once Maria and everyone else returned to Yggdrasil, her Formation spread across the world.
Bright pillars of light surged upward from every place where people had died.
Through her power, hundreds of thousands—then millions—were suddenly revived.
The souls Odin's Madness had devoured were reclaimed by her and gently guided back into their original bodies via the worldwide Formation.
"It's done, huh…?" Hel asked quietly, appearing before Maria as everyone began stepping out of her Aura. Maria's body shrank until she returned to her human form.
"Yeah…" Maria sighed heavily. "It's over…"
The victory felt bittersweet.
Although Odin had become a monstrous madman, a small lucid fragment of him had lingered.
Tormented by his own shattered mind, few could still hate him with the same venom they once felt.
Frigga had chosen to depart with him, following him into whatever awaited beyond.
"Mama, will they reincarnate someday?" Nyx asked softly, walking toward her mother.
"You mean Odin and Frigga?" Maria replied gently. "I… don't know. That's not an Authority I control."
"Aw…" Nyx looked down, disappointed.
"But Nyx, they did so many terrible things," Lucifer said carefully. "Wouldn't it be better if they stayed gone? If not for them, your mother and your siblings…!"
"…But I felt bad for him and Frigga," Nyx murmured, staring at the floor. "Um… Grandpa Odin was just sick…"
Lucifer stared at his daughter in stunned silence before falling quiet. "Hm…"
"Well, what's done is done," Jonathan said, stepping forward. "I think we all deserve a good rest… And we should explain what happened to the gods."
"I agree," Emeraldine added. "I suppose you're not going to kill them now, Maria? What about the Dukes or whatever remains?"
"I've lost all drive, honestly," Maria admitted with a weary sigh. "The resentment I once carried in my heart… it's simply gone now. I… just don't want to."
"…That's fine," Nia said softly, offering a gentle smile. "It only means you've surpassed your former self and released that darkness, that curse inside you."
"Hey, what happened to the spear?" Scarlet asked, glancing around. "I wouldn't mind wielding Gunir or whatever its name was!"
"I have it," Maria replied. "The black spear vanished—it was only part of Odin's Madness… It's here inside my Soul Realm, along with the last fragments of Tyr… Sirius!"
Maria suddenly noticed Sirius attempting to slip away with his two children now that everything had ended.
He had accepted defeat but clearly wanted no part of the aftermath.
"Yes?" Sirius asked, feigning nonchalance.
"Give them back," Maria said firmly.
"…" Sirius rolled his eyes. "Do I have to?"
"YES."
Maria was not open to negotiation.
Sirius sighed and tore a mass of black miasma from his chest, handing it over.
It was a dormant Evil God Fragment.
Maria absorbed it along with the other three fragments from Odin.
"I thought Loki held the remaining pieces, but he has none?" Maria wondered aloud as she felt Tyr finally unifying and returning to normal. "Alright, Tyr—welcome back!"
FLAAASH!
A man stepped out from Maria's ghostly aura.
She had drawn all the chaos into herself, freeing him forever from Loki's curse.
With her power to revive others and mend souls and flesh, Maria accomplished the impossible.
She fully revived the God of War and Law—Tyr!
The god who had dared oppose Odin's tyranny, only to be betrayed by his own family, cursed into an Evil God, and sealed into fragments.
He was finally whole again.
"Haaa…"
Tyr stood over four meters tall—broad, muscular, and imposing.
His skin was a deep, almost bronze brown.
His body was covered in hair, crowned by long red locks and a thick red beard.
Sharp golden eyes surveyed everyone in quiet awe.
Maria quickly wrapped a length of black cloth around his waist to preserve his modesty.
"This is… I am truly back?" Tyr murmured. "It feels like a dream—a dream I've carried for thousands of years." His voice cracked as tears welled up. "Maria…"
"Welcome back, Tyr!" Maria smiled warmly, her expression soft and maternal. "I'm so glad to see your true self. And wow—you're really handsome."
"Hah… Hahah…" Tyr laughed through his tears. "Maria! Thank you… Thank you so much!"
He pulled her into a powerful hug without hesitation, instantly provoking Lucifer and Scarlet.
"T-Tyr! Hahaha! Yeah, you're finally back! Well done—you endured so much!" Maria laughed, patting his back.
"I have… Thank you," Tyr said, gazing deeply into her eyes. "Truly… I have never met a woman like you before…"
"T-Tyr?" Maria blushed as his face drew close.
"O-Oi!" Lucifer shouted.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Scarlet barked.
Both grabbed his arms and yanked him back before he could steal a kiss.
"What's the big idea?!" Lucifer demanded.
"What were you going to do to her?!" Scarlet roared.
"Ah…! My apologies—I let the moment carry me away…" Tyr laughed awkwardly. "A-Anyway! My siblings…! And the other Gods—Maria, can you bring them here? I need to speak with them."
"Y-Yes!" Maria nodded, still a little flustered.
Her Shadow Realm opened, and the gods stepped out—covered in bruises. The people who had been trapped with them had thrown rocks and struck them with wooden sticks.
Apparently, while everything unfolded, the citizens of the Empire of Light had blamed the gods for their suffering and taken a bit of revenge.
Bound by Maria's Shadow Chains, the gods had been powerless to resist the punishment.
Now, with faces full of anger and resentment, they gazed at the outside world—shocked to no longer sense Odin or the Heavenly Realm.
"Thor, it has been a long time," Tyr said, smiling at his younger brother.
"T-Tyr?!" Thor gasped, stumbling back in disbelief. "W-What…! What's going on?! Where's Father?! What happened here? Last time he…! He ate us…! And… ugh…"
"It's a long story," Maria said gently. "So let us explain properly."
"You…!" Thor's face twisted with rage. He summoned Mjolnir, ready to strike Maria.
But Tyr stepped between them, seizing Thor's wrist and lifting him angrily.
"Thor! Don't you dare harm her!" he roared. "And give me that! You are no longer worthy of it!"
He took Thor's cherished hammer, holding it for the time being.
"I'll keep it until you change and grow as a person!" Tyr declared. "From now on, things are going to be different! All of you will be disciplined!"
"Eh?!"
"What is he talking about?!"
"Wasn't that guy the Evil God?!"
"Where's Odin?!"
"Ugh… my head hurts!"
The gods stood in confusion, but Maria and Tyr slowly began explaining everything that had happened.
