Reborn As A Ghost: Time To Build My Undead Army!
Chapter 1915: Loki’s True Power
-----
RUMBLE!
A monstrous giant erupted from an explosion of chaos, radiating pure demonic power.
A muscular body with six arms and two heads—one female, one male.
Demonic horns sprouted from both skulls, and a massive red eye glared from the center of his chest.
Blazing garments cloaked his titanic, grotesque form as Loki finally revealed his true shape!
"My parents always feared this form... From the moment I was born, they forced me to shapeshift and suppress it!" Loki roared. "I was blessed by the Chaos Star—an Outer God who saw in my fate the power to reshape this world and alter the tower’s destiny!"
"Blessed by an Outer God, huh? So they weren’t betting everything on me after all," Maria said with a nod. "That explains why you wield Chaos—a power no one should possess naturally, especially with Ice Titan parents."
"I’LL KILL YOU."
Loki had no more words. He closed the distance in a blinding rush.
His six arms tore through space, shattering reality itself as he unleashed a devastating barrage against her.
Maria met the onslaught with her Sword Dome, merging it with her Path of Genesis to forge an evolved golden barrier of radiant blades.
"Hmph! If you had this kind of strength, why didn’t you ever kill Odin?!"
She pressed forward relentlessly, slicing through Loki’s arms with terrifying ease before reaching his face and delivering a full-force kick.
BOOOM!
"NGAAAH!"
Loki groaned but refused to fall. He regenerated his limbs instantly and lunged back into the fray.
"Father...!"
Hel watched her father and Maria clash, only to feel a giant serpent coil around her body and begin crushing her.
"Aaaagh! Brother?! S-Stop!"
"I’ll restrain you! How could you betray us like this?! Fenrir is dead!"
"I didn’t...! Maria said she’ll revive him!"
"What?! Revive him?!"
"She revived almost everyone who died—don’t you know?!"
"...Lies!"
Jormungandr refused to believe such absurdity and tightened his grip with crushing force.
"Now stay put and don’t move! Yggdrasil, open the path to your Inner Realm!"
As the colossal snake surged toward the great tree...
Suddenly.
Hel snapped.
"UGH! ENOUGH!"
She seized her brother’s tail and spun him violently through the air, hurling him straight into Yggdrasil and sending shockwaves through the massive trunk.
"Don’t underestimate me! I AM NOT WEAK, JORMUN!"
Hel roared. The serpent recoiled and hissed, opening his jaws to unleash a beam of chaotic flames.
She swung her hand, cleaving the beam in two, then drove her fist into his snout, slamming him down into the sea.
BOOOM!
As the water erupted, Yggdrasil retaliated. Hundreds of razor-sharp roots and branches lashed toward Hel.
"Touch of Death."
TRUUUM!
They withered and crumbled instantly on contact.
Yggdrasil shuddered with fury.
Then something changed.
A single red eye opened within the tree.
"...?!"
This was no ordinary form.
There was a reason her father had spent years infusing Yggdrasil with Chaos.
He had been empowering it.
Blink. Blink.
Dozens more crimson eyes snapped open across the titanic trunk.
Hel stared in horror as the mountain-sized being revealed over a hundred furious, glaring eyes.
All of them charged with spirit energy and fired hundreds of chaotic beams.
Hel dodged frantically while charging toward the tree.
But her brother exploded from the sea, water cascading everywhere.
He snapped his jaws around her leg and dragged her under.
SPLASH!
Hel sank deep as Jormungandr coiled tighter, trying to drown her.
"Hmmm!"
She punched through his scales and unleashed Touch of Death, instantly decaying half his body into ash.
"GRAAAGH!"
Jormungandr screamed in torment as the withered half disintegrated.
Hel burst from the waves—only to face hundreds more piercing roots and branches.
"Touch of Death!"
She decayed the nearest ones in contact.
But the rest came too fast, aiming to skewer her from every direction.
Then—
"GAAAAH!"
With a furious scream, something manifested in her hands.
It emerged straight from her Dream Heart.
Not one. Not two. Not three. Not four.
Six.
Six objects.
They moved with blinding speed, and wherever they struck, Yggdrasil’s roots and branches withered instantly.
"...!"
Hel gazed at her new Dream Weapon: six prosthetic arms sprouting from her back.
Born from her desperate wish to wield her power more fully, each arm ended in a deadly hand.
Now she could spread Touch of Death with terrifying efficiency.
"Awesome."
Hel charged Yggdrasil, clashing against the colossal tree.
At the same time, Maria overpowered Loki.
And she was winning.
"NNNGGHH!"
Loki roared in fury, shapeshifting wildly—dragons, hydras, monstrous chimeras, blazing phoenixes, stone golems.
Yet no matter the form, Maria carved through him effortlessly.
Loki had grown too arrogant.
The woman before him had defeated not only Odin but every god in Yggdrasil.
She was no easy prey!
Worse still, his Chaos Magic faltered against her.
Maria already possessed Chaos—purified and claimed from Tyr.
That gave her a decisive edge. She reflected his spells instantly.
By channeling Chaos and Void into her Moonlight Mirrors, she negated his magic right before his eyes.
"T-This cannot be...!"
Loki stood speechless as every attack failed.
"Hey Loki, weren’t you saying something about killing me?!" Maria taunted, slicing through his arms again before slamming another kick into his face.
She followed with a whirlwind of sword strikes, enveloping his chaotic body in the Path of Genesis until it warped and began detonating.
Each slash triggered an explosion across his form.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Loki started to unravel.
Yggdrasil struck at Maria with—
"Curses?!"
A crushing presence weighed down on her.
But she unleashed her aura in response, shattering the curse effortlessly.
Then she leveled her sword at Loki.
"Still planning to make a new world instead of facing the one you already have?!"
"The process has already begun, fool! It doesn’t matter what we choose! Hahahha!"
"Oh really?!"
Maria roared and clashed again.
The trickster god shapeshifted desperately to counter her.
But the harder she pressed, the weaker he became.
Covered in wounds, Loki bled and screamed in agony.
Chaos failed him.
Shapeshifting failed him.
Nothing worked!
"T-This is the woman who killed Odin! What a monster—NNGH?! AAAAAGGH!"
Loki shrieked as Maria kicked his face once more, then—with all her strength—unleashed Path of Nihility, cleaving him in two.
SLAAASH!
"G-Gahhh?!"
His eyes widened in disbelief as his halves plummeted from the sky into the sea below.
As this happened, she saw Hel struggling against Yggdrasil.
