Someone inside Sienna’s head screamed. Her eyes darted from Hunter to Brian, both of them looking tense.

"What?" She whispered, "What did you say?"

Hunter hugged her tightly, his other hand kept rubbing her back, offering her comfort. Sienna closed her eyes and tried to sniff his t-shirt.

Which perfume is he wearing? It’s addictive. He’s addictive... and so handsome.

She looked up at Hunter as she tried to speak, "H...Hunter"

"Yes, sweetheart," He cooed, like she was a baby. Sienna tried to speak, but no words came out.

That old fox isn’t dead. He is probably sitting somewhere and laughing. But he’s about to die. He just dug his own grave by pulling this stunt.

She lowered her gaze and let her body tremble slightly. She smiled when Hunter’s arm tightened around her.

He pulled away just enough to cup her face, "Eat something before we leave, love," He brushed his thumb beneath her eye gently, "I’ll take you there."

"I ... I’m not hungry..." She whispered weakly, as if she was still not certain what she had heard.

"You might collapse if you don’t," His tone left no room for argument.

With a sigh, she looked at the chocolate croissant on her plate. Hunter was quick to drizzle caramel syrup over it.

Sienna’s mouth watered, "If you insist, Hunter..." She picked up the fork and knife, then took the first bite.

A few minutes later, she changed into a simple black outfit, leaving her hair loose around her shoulders.

She was trying her best to look fragile and pale.

"Good girl!" Hunter pulled himself up when saw her coming out of her bedroom. Sienna felt guilty when she saw him getting worried.

When they arrived at the hospital, Sienna quickly stepped out of the car. She saw Dr. Greyson standing in the hallway and sent a small text message to Lina.

"Hello, Li. My father is no more," and then a crying emoji.

After sending the message, she hurried towards the doctor, "Uncle!" Her voice cracked, "How can Papa... What happened? How can he?"

Before she could finish, tears rolled down her cheeks. Dr. Greyson quickly held her shoulders and patted her head, "We tried our best..."

Sienna cried harder. Though she had zero acting skills, right now, she wanted to give herself a pat on her back.

Right then, Ruby and Mariana walked towards them, looking devastated. Ruby was a natural while their mother was struggling to keep up the act.

"Yes, darling," Mariana forced out a shaky smile, "Come with us."

"No!" Sienna cried hysterically, shaking her head wildly, "Have you forgotten his last wish?"

"Last wish!" Dr. Greyson frowned and passed a worried look to Ruby and Mariana.
