Han Ruochen took the bus to the county. It took more than half an hour for them to arrive at the department store that was located in the county. The nineties department store was a simple building. There were fluorescent lights, spinning racks of polyester and a heavy scent of mothballs as well as floor wax. Han Ruochen had never been to a department store in her past life.

Half of the time, she did not have the money to come to the department store; thus, she avoided the place, and when she finally got married and thought of coming to this place, she was ruined by Yang Jiangming and the Yang family. Han Beijiang and Han Ruochen took a look at the clothes that she had chosen, and Han Beijiang liked them very much. The jacket was also nice; it had soft lining and wouldn’t irritate his skin at all. The more Han Beijiang touched them, the more he liked it. In the end, Han Ruochen chose three sets of clothes for him, along with three sets of clothes for Han Jianyou as well. Once she was done buying the clothes for the two children, Han Ruochen was determined to return home, but Han Beijiang had other plans.
