But how could this man know so much about their internal affairs? It must be Han Ruochen. She must have told him about this. Thinking about this, she couldn’t help but glare at Han Ruochen angrily. This woman was trying to ruin all of her opportunities to get close to this young master. She must have been worried about this ever since Han Ziyan stole Yang Jianming away from her, which was why she was doing this.

"I did not glare at you." Han Ziyan might be fierce in front of Han Ruochen but she did not dare to act smug in front of Zhai Heng. her voice grew weaker and weaker with Zhai Heng staring at her. What was this? Why was this man protecting Han Ruochen so much? She was just frustrated with Han Ruochen for speaking ill in front of Zhai Heng, so why couldn’t she even glare at her?

That woman tarnished her reputation; the least she could do was to glare at her.

"Are you allowed to glare at Xiao Ruochen?" snapped Zhai Heng angrily. He did not like women like Han Ziyan who liked to sing their own praises and when they toppled, they would blame everyone but themselves. Han Ziyan was acting all smug right now as if she had achieved something of great importance, but now that the truth was out in the open, she was blaming Han Ruochen for it instead of taking a look at her own foolish actions.

"She is my sister; why can I not glare at her?" Han Ziyan was infuriated to the point of fainting. In the past no one told her off when she mistreated Han Ruochen. She not only glared at Han Ruochen but she even ordered her around and snatched her things and she could not even say no. Why was she being blamed for glaring at Han Ruochen now? This was too much!

"What do you mean by she is your sister’? She is your elder sister and is this how you treat her? Do not forget that you are just an adopted daughter. Why are you acting like a nuisance here now?" Zhai Heng was quite smart. Even though he suspected that there was something wrong with Han Ziyan and Meng Yunhan, he did not say anything out loud nor did he state his suspicion without any evidence. He simply treated Han Ziyan as someone who did not know her status and was acting too unbridled.

Zhai Heng was not someone who knew how to rein in his temper. He raised his hand and waved in front of Han Ziyan before saying, "Listen to me carefully. You better start acting properly or else I will beat you up in front of everyone. I have no qualms about hitting women. You better learn that!"

"You..." Han Ziyan turned pale, and she started to have some regrets. If she knew that this young master was this ill-tempered, then she would have thought it through. She wanted to get closer to this young master but she ended up quarrelling with him. It was all because of Han Ruochen. It was all her fault.
