"Alright, I will do just that." Han Yichen agreed with Miss Shen’s suggestion, who nodded and turned on her heel before leaving the office.

When Meng Yunhan saw that the woman was leaving, she immediately gave her a chase. Seeing this, Han Yichen was stunned. He scrunched up his brows and shouted, "Where do you think you are going?"

"Miss Shen has not forgiven me. I am going to apologise to her again!" Meng Yunhan made a random excuse as she chased after the woman in her heels. This was the first time Han Yichen had seen the woman run so fast, and for some reason, he had a feeling that the woman was not rushing to apologise. He knew Meng Yunhan very well, and she was the kind of person who would rather fight someone to death than admit that she was wrong. How could she possibly admit that she was in the wrong?

Han Yichen immediately chased after the woman, but Meng Yunhan was still faster than him. She caught Miss Shen just as the woman arrived at the entrance of the farm, where the parking lot was. "Miss Shen! Miss Shen!" She chased the woman while calling her at the top of her voice. When she arrived at the parking lot, Miss Shen was nearly inside the car.

When Miss Shen heard the familiar voice that had scolded her earlier, she could not help but frown. She turned her head and looked at the woman behind her, and the furrow between her brows turned even more intense. However, she grew up in a family where women knew how to handle such situations without any signs of distress or anger. She suppressed her annoyance and questioned in a polite voice, "How may I help you, Mrs Han?"

Meng Yunhan was quite pleased when she saw that the woman was still talking to her politely. She thought that the woman was scared stiff by her actions earlier and thought that she would be bullied, which was why she was acting so politely with her. That only made her puff her chest out even more.

"Miss Shen, I wanted to talk to you about something." Meng Yunhan spoke in what she thought was a dignified sort of voice.

When Miss Shen heard that there was something that Meng Yunhan wanted to discuss with her, she frowned even harder. But she still asked in a low voice, "What do you want to discuss with me, Mrs Han?"

"I actually wanted to tell you something... the pork on this farm is not fresh. You might not believe it, but they sell the old meat," she then added with an embarrassed smile, " If not for the fact that I was feeling guilty about scolding you earlier, I wouldn’t have come to look for you and told you this truth. After all, this farm belongs to my husband."

Shen Nian narrowed her eyes. She had a feeling that there was something wrong with what the woman was saying, but she still followed along and nodded before asking in a low voice, "So, what do you want me to do?"

"Miss Shen, how about you go to the Yun family farm in the city? They are really good. And the meat that they sell is really fresh as well. You will certainly be pleased by the quality of the meat that they will provide you." Meng Yunhan hurriedly made her suggestion, which only made Shen Nian narrow her eyes even more.

She stared at the woman who was smiling at her brightly before chuckling softly. She said, "Madam Meng, do you think I will dare to take the suggestion of someone who betrayed her husband without a thought in her mind?"

As soon as she finished speaking, Meng Yunhan’s smile fell off her lips. She turned angry and couldn’t help but say, "I was just telling you the truth! Why are you speaking to me as if I am scheming against you?"

"Are you not scheming against me?" Shen Nian asked with a sneer, and her gaze alone made Meng Yunhan’s heart skip a beat. "You know better than anyone what you are trying to do. Do you think that our people made a decision without carefully investigating which farm would be able to provide us with fresh meat? Our company not only investigated the sample, but we even noted down the reviews of those who have cooperated with these farms."

"Mr Han’s farm is among the best farms in terms of product quality, as well as the support that the customers receive from the farm after purchasing the meat. As for the farm that you speak of..." Shen Nian’s sneer widened. "It’s one of the worst farms when it comes to providing meat. If I am not wrong, they are even on the verge of going bankrupt because they refuse to change themselves."

"And yet, you are saying that you are doing it for my own good?" Shen Nian was not blind. She was someone who had seen a lot of things in the world. Even if she was young, her wisdom and experience were much richer than those of someone like Meng Yunhan, who only knew how to scheme for a man. She at once knew that there was something wrong with Meng Yunhan, and her suggestion as soon as she heard that there was a problem with the farm’s meat.

Meng Yunhan’s face turned more and more pale when she heard the woman’s words. She stammered, "You... what do you even know? That farm is really good. If you don’t want to make a deal with them, it’s fine. Why are you making such ridiculous claims?"

Shen Nian rolled her eyes and stated, "You know it in your heart whether or not I am making claims or stating facts. Mrs Han, I believe that Mr Han is a good man, I think you should cherish him when you still have his heart instead of making such ruckus!"
