Zhai Muchen noticed her nervousness and questioned, "Are you nervous?"

Though the story had been circulating in the quad for quite some time, the truth was that many people did not believe it, and of course, most of them scoffed at it, thinking it was just something that a few storytellers came up with to sell these twin pearls at a high price. Even so, these twin pearls were still quite sought out by collectors who love collecting rare and unique things, just like Zhai Muchen.

Zhai Muchen, however, believed the old tale.

So, when Han Ruochen agreed to hand him the twin pearls, he could not help but ask if she knew what her actions could mean.
