These men were unscrupulous because they believed that no matter what they did, they would be backed up by Yun Tao. Thus, they were not scared. "Brother Muchen!" Han Ruochen’s eyes lit up when she saw Zhai Muchen. Even though she was not scared, she was not going to waste her energy. "Brother Muchen, these people are here to beat me up."

"Beat you?" Zhai Muchen knitted his brows and looked towards Yun Tao. "What is the meaning of this?"

Yun Tao’s face stiffened, and he asked cautiously, "Brother Zhai, do you know this woman too?" In Yun Tao’s mind, he was hoping that it would not be such a coincidence. After all, he could accept Han Ruochen being close to Zhai Heng, but how could this woman be close to someone like Zhai Muchen?

In the quad, Yun Tao was not afraid of anyone, not even Zhai Heng, who was like a thug and liked to pretend that he was a big boss. If anybody offended Yun Tao, he would make sure that he would find the person and beat him up. He had forgotten how many times he had done such a thing; every time he was bullied, he would beat up the person until even their parents refused to accept them. How could he allow anyone to bully him?

Yun Tao was used to scheming in the dark; he was not like Zhai Heng, who would take a fight without thinking things through. What’s more, he was pleasant-looking, so there was no lack of people who trusted him and thought that he was a nice young man. Because of this, Yun Tao became even more emboldened. He was sure that no one would dare to cause trouble for him, and even if they did, there were countless people who were willing to testify for him.

Because of this, he once tried to prank Zhai Muchen, and it backfired to the point where he almost lost his life. It was such a big loss that Yun Tao never dared to go against Zhai Muchen ever again.

"Yun Tao, it seems like you have gotten even bolder than the last time." Zhai Muchen’s voice rang out again; he completely ignored the question that Yun Tao had asked him earlier and stared at the young man coldly.
