Reborn In The 90's: Saving My Siblings With A Fishing System
Chapter 242: Underestimating Too Much
Han Ruochen looked at her empty wallet and could not help but sigh. Earning money was difficult, but spending it was easier. Look at this; it did not take longer than two hours for her to spend the money. However, when she thought about how she would be able to recover twice the amount in a few months, her burning heart felt a bit better. She just needed to wait for four to six months, and everything would be fine.
"Ruochen, I hope that your connections were telling the truth." Second Uncle Han was still worried and could not help but look at the dilapidated buildings with an aggrieved look on his face. He was worried that things would not go well, and Han Ruochen would lose all the money that she had invested. What was more, even if she somehow managed to get the demolition compensation, Second Uncle Han did not think that Old Chu was an easy person to deal with.
What if he caused trouble for the two of them later on?
"Second Uncle, don’t think too much." Han Ruochen knew what her uncle was worried about. "Even if Old Chu tries to cause trouble for us, he can at most threaten us. Anyway, the house deed is with us. What can this person even do to us? It isn’t like he can snatch the compensation from us?"
Han Ruochen was content with this alone.
Han Ruochen was satisfied, but Second Uncle Han was still worried. However, since he could not do anything at the moment, nor could he convince Han Ruochen to give up, he could only let her do what she wanted anyway; she was being stubborn, and as her uncle, there was nothing he could do.
Han Ruochen was glad that her uncle stopped harping. She then looked at the sky and frowned when she saw the sun brightly. It seemed like it must be past two in the afternoon. She turned to look at her second uncle and said to him, "It’s getting late. We should eat something nice, what do you say, Second Uncle?" 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
What could Second Uncle Han even say? He knew that his niece was not going to listen so he could only follow her to the nearest wonton restaurant. Fortunately, Han Ruochen seemed to have understood that her second uncle had reached his limit and did not push him past his limit. She ordered some soup wontons with a stir-fried dish and nothing more.
But as the two of them were waiting for their food to arrive, Han Ruochen saw someone familiar and her eyes flickered with a knowing glint and her lips curled up into a sneer.

"Mom, do you think Dad will be angry?" Han Ziyan had a lot of fun when she was with her mother; she thought that it was really a fun but when she returned home and saw that the stove was cold, she could not help but turn worried. She turned to look at her mother and tugged her hand worriedly before saying to her, "Mom, what if dad is really angry?"
"What is there to be afraid? He is angry so let him be. Am I not angry? I am going to give him the cold shoulder and make him understand that I will be the one who will be accompanying him till the end of his time and not that rotten girl. He really needs to understand this or else there will be no end to our troubles. And if he thinks that he can survive with just those fools, then he can go ahead and make as much trouble as he wants." Meng Yunhan was still angry at the fact that Han Yichen was showing him temper.
Did he think that he could suppress her? In this house, only she was the one who could lose her temper and the rest of the people have to listen to her no matter what. How dare that man act up in front of her? Usually she was the one who stayed next to him and took care of him.
And yet Han Yichen was acting up in front of her. Han Yichen was forgetting that she was the one who married him and gave birth to five children for him. She had gone through a lot of suffering for him. How dare he act up in front of her?
"Mom, I will listen to you." After hearing Meng Yunhan’s, Han Ziyan was feeling a bit more relaxed. But when she looked at the stove that was cold and there was nothing for her to eat, she turned to look at her mother and said in a whiny voice, "Mom, I am hungry. It has been too long since we ate those meat buns. We still need to eat, don’t we?"
"Then I will cook something for you." Meng Yunhan also felt a bit hungry as she had been walking for the entire day.
Meng Yunhan went to the kitchen and when she saw that there was nothing in the kitchen, she could not help but feel smug. She thought that Han Yichen had nothing to eat because Han Ruochen was taking care of his meals. In the past, even though she did not cook, she was always taking care of Han Yichen’s meals and made sure that Han Ruochen cooked a delicious meal every day.
Now that she was not harping after Han Ruochen, that wretched girl was no longer taking care of her father. Humph, that man—he would now understand her importance and why she was so strict with the kids.
What she did not know was that Han Ruochen was smarter and careful than her. She had already cooked and cleaned the house and she had even sent her father a well-insulated tiffin box in the morning before she left. So why would she return home to cook? Anyway, she was too lazy to bother with Meng Yunhan.
Did Meng Yunhan think that without her the Han family would fall apart? If so, then she was completely wrong.
"Mom, quickly whip something for me. I am so hungry that my front is going to stick to the back and I am tired and sticky. You cook something up; I will go and take a bath." Han Ziyan did not want to deal with such messy affairs and returned to her room without helping her mother in cooking.
