Reborn In The 90's: Saving My Siblings With A Fishing System
Chapter 56: Sprayed with saliva
Han Ruochen simply glanced at him and then turned to look at Han Yichen.
Their father was staring at the two of them. He didn’t say anything while they were quibbling, and a flash of surprise glinted in his eyes. He couldn’t be blamed for being surprised. After all, his children had always stayed far from each other. They lived under the same roof, but they had no affection for each other. His eldest matured way too soon and then moved from the family. His second daughter married as soon as she became an adult and started living with her husband and his family. As for Han Ruochen, she was born with a cold personality and never bothered with her siblings.
Han Jianyou was rebellious and way too impulsive, and his youngest was well—
Thus, it was quite surprising for him to see Han Jianyou and Han Ruochen getting along so well.
Han Jianyou: "..." No, you need to get your eyes checked. Where did you see that we were getting along?
"Now, can you tell me what happened?" Father Han asked.
With his fingers interlocked, he waited for his two troublesome kids to come clean. One quit her job, and the other one was on the verge of quitting school. Originally, Father Han was planning on retiring after Han Jianyou finished high school and went to college and letting him work at the pig farm and run it. But who would have thought that his children would suddenly start getting into trouble one after another?
Han Ruochen’s lips twitched. She had a feeling that her father was thinking hard about something, and whatever he was thinking about was not good at all. However, she also had a feeling that it was better not to ask her father about it either.
Instead, she told everything that happened at Han Jianyou’s school. By the time she finished speaking, Father Han was so angry that his face was twisted in a rather ugly sneer. He looked like he was about to have a seizure.
Han Ruochen was not surprised by this. Her father was not well-educated. He only finished high school, and the rest he was able to study by going to night school. Thus, he naturally wanted his children to at least become college graduates, even if they were not admitted to a well-known college.
But none of them were able to do it.
Han Ruochen did have some potential, but she suddenly gave up, and now he found out that Meng Yunhan was messing with Han Jianyou’s fees; how could he not be angry? This was not just carelessness. This was blatant disregard and playing with the future of their son.
"How dare she!?" Father Han roared so hard that the entire room shook, with the glass panes outside shaking like there was an earthquake. Father Han was breathing really hard. Every month, he would transfer the money for Han Jianyou’s school fees to his wife, and yet she didn’t even pay it back once. Then where did all that money go?
When Han Jianyou found out that his father had actually paid his fees, and it was his mother who didn’t pay the school, he was so shocked that his mouth dropped. All along, he caused trouble for his father, believing that it was his father who didn’t care for him, but it turned out that his father cared for him, and it was his mother who was ignoring him.
Han Jianyou suddenly didn’t know what to feel.
"Dad, we will discuss this matter later on. However, you need to ask mother to take out Jianyou’s school fees. I mean, we cannot continue like this anymore, can we? We need to pay the fees that we owe to the school, Dad." Han Ruochen didn’t want to finish her mother and Han Ziyan off so quickly; she wanted them to suffer slowly. Just like she did. Every day was like a new slow poison being added to her system.
Father Han nodded solemnly.
"You are right."
He slowly got up from his chair and said to Han Ruochen, "We need to talk about this with your mother." There were not many things that he couldn’t accept but there was one thing that he could never accept, and that was theft.
And this was something that Han Ruochen knew and played to her knowledge.
Though Han Ruochen had already made some preparations, she still underestimated the mother and daughter duo.
Somehow, Han Ziyan, who had no relation to the school where she worked, found out about the rumours. Anyone with a sensible head on their shoulders would have first thought of clarifying the rumours and then telling them to their family. But Han Ziyan always hoped that Han Ruochen would get into trouble. Thus, she didn’t even bother clarifying the rumours and rushed straight home.
When Han Ruochen arrived, Han Ziyan also stepped inside the house and without even waiting to get a glass of water for herself, she started scolding Han Ruochen.
And she did it from the bottom of her heart.
"Sister Ruochen, even if you want to take revenge, there are some things that you cannot do. If you are unhappy about something, then we can discuss it. You can even hit me if you want. But there is no need for you to be like this; Dad and Mom taught us that we need to be down to earth. How can you do such a cunning thing? Are you not afraid that these actions of yours will cause trouble for Dad, sister Ruochen? You can take your anger out in a much more reasonable manner. Why did you act like this? This is simply too unscrupulous, and I am so disappointed in you."
When Han Ziyan scolded Han Ruochen, the latter took a step back. There was no other choice. While scolding her, this woman actually spat saliva on her face! Wasn’t it dirty? Was it not disgusting?
