Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities
Chapter 92: Family Part 3: Raising a god
Parenting isn’t easy. Raising the first ever god baby meant Sora and Brie needed all the help they could get! 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Sora was in the middle of playing with his son when Xander decided to open a portal to the ancient ruins.
"Whose a good boy. You can open portals? You’re only 3 weeks old, how can you open portals!" Sora said using his best baby talk.
Xander just smiled and waved toward Leila.
"Woah, I think he can sense you miss your homelands, Leila. You should come over here and see what he does?" Brie asked, gushing with happiness.
Leila walked over to the portal and took one step in. Xander kept making noises of encouragement.
"Goo-goo. Ga-ga. Goo-ga!"
"Thank you Xandy! Auntie Leila doesn’t want to go there today. Auntie Leila wants to play with you!" She said as she gave him lots of tickles. Xander closed the portal and when he had enough of the tickles, he teleported to Levi, who was sitting on the couch with Sasha.
"What’s up little buddy! Is there anything you can’t do?" Levi mimicked the baby talk vibe.
"Goo-ga!" Xander said as he used water magic to soak Levi and Sasha. Xander started bursting out laughing, as did the rest of the room.
"Water magic. Check." Brie wrote down in his baby book. Every day she updated it, without fail.
"You’re a silly boy Xander! Why did you use water magic on your god parents?" Brie said in a less than thrilled voice.
"Ga-Ga-Goo!" Xander said. Sasha and Levi were completely dry.
"Remarkable. Sora what do we even put down for that? Seriously, our child is absolutely amazing. He can teleport at 3 weeks old, open portals, use elemental magic, I’m just worried he’s going to start creating seals or speeding up time so quickly everyone gets old!" Brie said as she scribbled more notes in the baby book.
"Amplified version of Safe Flame."
Despite not being able to crawl or walk yet, Xander could move around just fine. He’d usually teleport into the arms of someone in a nice, coddled position.
Rissa was impressed with how well Julius handled Xander and it made her happy. She knew they couldn’t be sexual yet, but it also gave her hope for a happy future with him.
Xander seemed to love everyone in the party. When he saw Lucious using his shadow magic, he tried to mimic it but couldn’t and threw a huge temper tantrum.
"Baby... shush. Hush little baby don’t you cry, momma is happy even though you fly. Not using magic shouldn’t make you sad, because you’re silly just like dad." Brie sang softly. Xander yawned and fell asleep.
"Nice job babe. That was a cute little nursery rhyme you made up. This kid is non-stop! I’m glad Sasha and Levi are watching him tonight so we can visit our honeymoon spot."
"Me too, but do you honestly think he’s going to let us go? You know he’s just going to show up at some point!" Brie laughed telepathically.
"Honestly, probably not. That’s ok, though! As long as we get some time together, that’s what matters. It’s amazing how he senses energy, and I know we said we wouldn’t add children to our party, but his special conditions make it so he can’t do anything too crazy!"
"That’s our big guy. I can’t believe he’s already 3 feet... he’s grown 5 inches and gained 5 pounds in three weeks. I’m glad I went through the trial of gods otherwise this wouldn’t be possible!"
"I’m proud of you for how well you did! It was nice of Athena to come and visit Xander. I’m just glad he wasn’t too crabby afterwards. They always come with a good dream followed by a nightmare or vice versa, I don’t totally get that."
"Me neither, but I wonder what our baby boy dreams of? I can sense how frustrated he was that he couldn’t copy the shadow. I wonder what Athena said to him?"
"Sorry, I know I promised not to listen in, but this is perfectly normal behavior for a god or goddess baby. My parents told me I was doing all sorts of crazy things as a baby, but I’m sure it’s nothing compared to this! Just try to enjoy tonight and if he comes, he comes." Celeste said, rather embarrassingly. "As for Athena, she probably just introduced herself. She will give him a blessing eventually."
"It’s ok Celeste! Thank you so much for your help. You’ve been a god-send, literally." Sora chuckled.

Sora and Brie arrived at their lovely little cabin and realized how warm it was. They quickly changed into swimwear and were off riding the jetskis. After some fun on the water, they rode in and Sora cooked Brie a nice dinner while she showered and changed.
"Aw thanks babe! You’re the best," Brie said while giving Sora a kiss.
"It feels good to have some alone time. I think this is the first time we’ve been alone since his birth!"
"I know! The jet-skis are always so much fun. You said they also had these on Earth but you never got to ride them?"
"Yup! These are way more advanced and go way faster, though! So I feel like I’m not missing out on much. What would you like to drink, babe?" Sora asked as he stood up and gave Brie a gentle kiss on the head.
"Honestly, I’m in the mood for milk. I’ve had the weirdest cravings lately." Brie admitted while handing her plate to Sora.
Sora went and grabbed a glass of milk for Brie and a bottle of his favorite blue sports drink and by the time he got back to the table, Xander was happily sitting on his mother’s lap!
"Woah! He can already sit!" Sora shouted ecstatically.
Xander opened a portal to the mansion, pointed and said, "go-go."
"But Mama and Dadda are going to stay here tonight. Do you want to stay with us?" Brie said while Xander happily sat in his Mother’s lap.
Xander’s eyes looked around the beach resort and around the cabin, before reaching for Brie’s chest.
"I left you a baba with Auntie Leila!" Brie said while smiling.
Sora loved these moments. Not only was his child growing quickly, but it seemed like his progression fit the pregnancy template.
"If I remember correctly, babies aren’t supposed to sit with support until about 4-6 months. He turns a month old tomorrow, so he’s ahead of schedule! I think we should expect him to age like your pregnancy aged, so by the time he’s 1, he’ll basically be 3 years old." Sora deduced.
Brie happily fed Xander until she felt a nasty sting.
"Ouch!" Brie flinched, causing Xander to start crying. "I’m sorry baby Momma’s not mad at you! Can mama see your mouth?"
"Sora, he has his first tooth!"
Sora came and gave both of them a hug and Xander went happily back to feeding. The sun finally set and Xander drifted off to sleep. Sora kissed Brie and said, "Be right back I love you!"
"Love you too babe don’t take too long!"
Sora teleported to the mansion, loaded up Xander’s crib in his dimensional void, came back and set the crib in the living room with a baby monitor.
Brie set Xander inside the crib and they enjoyed much needed alone, adult time. Xander slept through the night and the next morning he was awake and in their bedroom.
"Good morning my silly big guy!" Sora said while snuggling him. Brie was still sleeping so he made him a bottle from the pumped breast milk.
Brie woke up to Sora singing to Xander.
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are, up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky, twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are!" Sora tried his hardest to sing.
Brie smiled and laughed. "Lullaby from Earth? The only thing my husband can’t do, sing in pitch!"
They all laughed.
