Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 877: The Imminent
The Primordial Jellyfish inside his large spherical lake, flexed its countless glittery tentacles and swam out of the waters.
Casting his non-existent and seemingly omnidirectional gaze, the Primordial Jellyfish saw the All-King floating above the lake.
The All-King was in his humanoid form and wearing a magnificent piece of white robe with black designs.
His arms were folded in front of his chest and his blonde hair was brushed back away from his eyes.
"Have you made your decision yet?" The All-King asked without any emotion in his eyes.
The Primordial Jellyfish was faceless as it only had a colorful blob to show for anything worth referring to.
"Yes," The Primordial Jellyfish responded telepathically, "But I want to know..."
"Speak freely," Kael said.
"Has the world outside come for you already?" The Primordial Jellyfish asked.
Kael shook his head, "Yes and no. Why do you ask? Do you want to know if you are on the winning side?"
The Primordial Jellyfish trembled and shook its blob, "I have seen many things, but I have never seen someone as committed as you are to your creed and discipline."
Kael shook his head, feeling the least bit flattered. "You just haven’t lived long enough," he said.
After all he had learned in the past few days, Kael’s arrogance and confidence were still there, but he was also aware that others like him had appeared in the past.
The only difference between him and them was that he was indirectly riding on the efforts of Reincarnation and Noel. His ancestors helped, the others in the past may not have even had ancestors in the first place.
Alan sure didn’t have anyone to rely on.
"The only reason I am tolerating your fence sitting..." Kael said as his body moved slowly toward the Primordial Jellyfish.
The Primordial Jellyfish was quite large and blasted a blob that should be the size of a small mountain. Its tentacles were even longer.
"...is because I haven’t yet found your replacement," Kael said coldly.
There was no need to hide some things any longer. If something wasn’t there, it wasn’t there.
Kael had no need to pretend like he cared about their feelings now, because...
"If you can’t submit properly, then you are useless to the Hegemony," Kael said and unfolded his hands.
Instantly, all his aura burst out of his body and the spherical lake below him trembled.
The Primordial Jellyfish was silent, but there was an unmistakable feeling of dread as it gazed upon Kael’s features in disbelief.
The All-King’s eyes shone brightly like two mini stars and in his hand, a golden sword appeared.
Not only was Kael now at mid-level immortal stage, but he still had the Conqueror Mode.
It was an ability that a lot of people tended to forget about since Kael hardly used it. Many had even forgotten that Conqueror’s Mode was the main ability of every Primordial Lion that had come before Kael.
As he was, Kael was fully capable of going absolutely feral, focusing every atom and will in his being on single-minded Conquest.
The rise in power level was certainly more dreadful than it was when Kael was still a mortal.
"All-King, I did not say I wasn’t going to submit, I just wanted to know the stakes," The Primordial Jellyfish said as he shifted away.
Kael tilted his head, "Existence, that’s what is at stake.
Existence.
However, before the lions go extinct, I would personally, with my very own claws, rip apart every defiant bone from every stubborn resistor.
And the more you waste my time, the more I desire to add you to that list," Kael said.
This was the old way. The right way. The orthodox way.
No need for too much diplomacy.
No need for negotiations.
No need for compromise.
Only conquest, to the very end, till the last breath, till the last drop of blood ran dry.
"Accept!" Kael commanded and a contract paper appeared in front of the Primordial Jellyfish.
Without wasting time, the system was put on alert and under Kael’s command, thousands of immortal lions would flood this small space to assist him in killing this Resistor.
The Primordial Jellyfish looked at the contract and read through its content. He was very confused, it wasn’t as harsh as he had imagined it to be.
For millions of years, he had been serving the lion in Original Heaven by acting as their eyes and ears to the outside world.
It wasn’t really a master slave relationship. But the Primordial Jellyfish had no choice and could not leave because it was constantly surrounded by powerful lions.
It wasn’t that bad either, his law never made him feel lonely. Sometimes, he even felt like his head was too crowded.
He was reluctant to serve the All-King directly because he was scared of losing that last bit of autonomy that he had.
But now, looking at the contract, it seems he would actually have way more freedom than he imagined.
"I accept," The Primordial Jellyfish glanced at Kael’s extremely cold expression and quickly accepted it.
Seeing that something good had happened, Kael did not smile, his face just relaxed.
"I may have been playing the game wrong all along..." Kael suddenly muttered to himself and the Primordial Jellyfish heard it.
At this instant, changes were occurring.
[The Jellyfish System has been established. The Law of Observation has been acquired.]
Kael felt the Observation Essence flowing into him. Almost immediately, the Law of Vision reacted and began to stick.
Kael’s golden eyes dimmed and darkened. Still gold, still shining, but now deeper and layered with a terrifying gravitational pull.
"All of them have been designing their own games, I was just a player in all of them..."
Kael snapped his fingers and disappeared.
The last thing the Primordial Jellyfish heard was the loud roar of hundreds of ancient lions followed by the cracking of space and time.
He didn’t know why but the All-King seemed a little bit more serious than usual.
What he didn’t know was that he had given Kael one of the keys to flip the cosmic table on the heads of everyone.

Outside the Alphaverse, in a distant Outerverse edge, Seth was flying fast with a blank expression on his face.
There were many worries flowing through that scheming brain of his and it was evident in the slightest falter of calmness between his eyebrows.
His pure white eyes effortlessly scanned the void in front of him, searching for anomalies and making sure no one was following him.
’The immortals and related forces of the Ancient Felines have already reunited with the Assembled Feline army,’’ Seth thought to himself.
’The very eyes that I have been trying to get away from are now staring down my neck.
It’s either I get the power to kill them, or keep on enduring,’
In his hand, a transmission device constantly blinked. They were calling him, and it irked him to great lengths.
This...
This wasn’t freedom.
’Father just wants me to pave a bloody path to godhood which is not even guaranteed.
If only he knew...’ He missed, resisting the urge to crush the transmission device.
Ever since they came, all his plans had been spoiled or delayed.
’All of them want to attack the lions, but is it even about the lions? Or is it the fact that the lions just hold the key to what they want?
Fools, we don’t even have our own heaven yet, but the All-King is out there invading other heavenly realms and even broke out of Origin Heaven.’
Sometimes, Seth wished that he were a lion himself. Their lives just seemed way more fulfilling, despite the self-imposed brutality.
The way they coordinated and intentionally set up external enemies to encourage cooperation amongst their clans was something Seth admired.
It was very different from the cats, who were just trying to do their own thing solo, or the tigers who were constantly looking for a valid reason to kill someone.
Still, Seth had confidence in his plans. There may be delays but as long as he was immortal and as long as troublesome entities like the All-King were eliminated, the future was limitless.
Suddenly, a commanding voice pierced through the void.
"Seth," Said the voice as a portal opened in front of Seth, forcing him to stop flying and stare at the glowing portal with skepticism.
Who was this? How did he know where he was?
Most importantly, how did he manage to track his exact location and appear here right in front of him? Those were Seth’s thoughts.
To Seth’s shock, the All-King casually floated out of the portal gate with his hands behind his back and his dark gold gaze focused on Seth’s face.
"All-King," Seth said, frowning and adjusting his shoulder blades to prepare for a fight.
Kael removed one of his hands from behind him and waved dismissively at Seth.
"I did not come here to kill you, Seth," The All-King’s words were bold and direct right from the start.
"I came to help."
