Reincarnated As A Wonderkid - Chapter 56: Leon Fischer Flair
The team bus hummed, carrying the Aston Villa squad towards Brightonâs Amex Stadium.
Leon Fischer sat by the window, the coastal landscape flashing by, his mind buzzing with a delicious mix of anticipation and secret excitement. đłđđ˛đđ¨đđŻđđđ§đđš.đ°đźđ
Neymar Jr.âs âFlair Dribblingâ skill, granted by the âHelp Systemâ, was ready for action.
Just before they boarded the bus, Coach Emery had pulled Alex Turner (Current: 81) aside.
"Alex, youâve been phenomenal, but you played a full ninety minutes against Tottenham. Youâll be on the bench today. Rest. Be ready if we need you."
Alex looked a little disappointed but nodded, understanding. "Understood, Coach. Iâll be ready."
Leon gave Alex a reassuring pat on the back. "Your time will come, mate. You just watch me today. Iâve got something special planned." Alex looked intrigued, a small smile touching his lips.
As they approached the stadium, the atmosphere grew thick with the chants of Brighton fans. The Amex, Leon knew, was a compact stadium, renowned for its vociferous support. This was a true away day test.
In the dressing room, the mood was focused. Coach Emery went over the tactics, emphasizing control in midfield and exploiting Brightonâs attacking spaces.
"Brighton are fluid, dynamic," he warned. "But they leave gaps. We must be clinical. Leon, your creativity will be crucial."
Just before they walked out, Leon felt a faint, almost imperceptible surge of energy. Neymarâs âFlair Dribblingâ was active. He felt a lightness in his feet, a spark of pure audacity in his mind.
As they stepped onto the pitch, the roar of the crowd enveloped them. The Brighton fans were loud, their cheers battling against the smaller but determined contingent of Villa supporters.
KICKOFF!
Brighton immediately imposed their fluid, passing game. Leon found himself in a fierce midfield battle, using his âsightâ to anticipate Brightonâs intricate passes. He saw a âghosted arcâ from GroĂâs foot, a clever through ball.
Leon lunged, intercepting, but his momentum carried him slightly off balance.
Brighton start brightly! Their passing is crisp! Leon Fischer with the interception, but itâs a tight one!"
Suddenly, Kaoru Mitoma (Current: 86) received the ball on the left wing.
Leonâs âsightâ flared. He saw the âquick body feintâ and âsharp cut insideâ projections.
Mitoma burst past Matty Cash (Potential: 86, Current: 83), leaving him flat-footed.
He dribbled into the box, his movements a blur of speed and precision. Leon saw the âleg-and-ballâ projection â a powerful shot aimed for the far corner. He screamed a warning, but it was too late.
WHISSHH! BOOM!
Mitoma unleashed a lightning-fast shot that rocketed past Emiliano MartĂnez (Current: 85).
GOOOAL! Brighton 1 - Aston Villa 0!
The Amex erupted! Brighton had scored early, just ten minutes in. Leon felt a pang of frustration. Mitoma was simply too quick, too skillful.
Villa, stung by the early goal, pushed for an equalizer. Leon, fueled by Neymarâs âFlair Dribblingâ, felt a surge of audacious confidence.
He received the ball in midfield from Douglas Luiz (Current: 85). A Brighton midfielder, Billy Gilmour (Potential: 86, Current: 82), rushed to press him, his âghosted outstretched legâ indicating an incoming tackle.
Leon, instead of a simple pass, pulled off a dazzling move.
With a quick âflickâ of his boot, he executed a perfect ârainbow flickâ over Gilmourâs head, catching the midfielder completely by surprise. Gilmour stared, bewildered, as the ball sailed over him, landing perfectly back at Leonâs feet.
OHHHH!
A collective gasp rippled through the stadium, followed by murmurs of astonishment. Even some Brighton fans couldnât help but react.
"Did you see that?! A rainbow flick! From Leon Fischer! Oh, thatâs audacious! He just put Gilmour on a highlight reel!"
Leon grinned, a surge of pure joy. Neymarâs skill felt incredible, almost effortless. He surged forward, seeing another Brighton defender, Pervis Estupiùån (Potential: 87, Current: 85), closing him down. Leon pulled off a quick âelasticoâ, a mesmerizing blur of footwork that left Estupiùån clutching at air. WHOOSH! He was through!
"Heâs done it again! Fischer dancing through the Brighton defense! This is sensational dribbling!"
Leon was now in Brightonâs box, looking for a shot, but Lewis Dunk (Current: 85) was a formidable presence. Leon saw the âleg-and-ballâ projection from Dunk, indicating an almost impossible block.
Leon decided against the shot. Instead, he pulled off a quick âfake shotâ followed by a âbackheel passâ to Ollie Watkins (Current: 86), who had made a clever run.
Watkins, presented with a clear chance, slammed the ball home!
GOOOAL! Brighton 1 - Aston Villa 1!
Villa Park, though miles away, would have erupted. The small contingent of Villa fans at the Amex went wild. Leon ran to celebrate with Watkins.
This âFlair Dribblingâ was a game-changer!
The game continued at a frantic pace. Leon was a constant menace, combining his predictive âsightâ with dazzling tricks.
He used a ârouletteâ to spin away from two midfielders, created space, and hit a pinpoint through ball to John McGinn (Current: 84), who fired just wide.
Around the 35th minute, Villa took the lead. Leon received the ball in midfield. He saw the âghosted shiftâ from Brightonâs defense, a narrow path opening up.
He hit a sublime, curling pass that sliced through the lines, landing perfectly at the feet of Leon Bailey (Current: 84). Bailey, with a burst of pace, fired it past the goalkeeper.
GOOOAL! Brighton 1 - Aston Villa 2!
Villa were flying! Leon celebrated, his âCurrent: 84â now pulsating with unstoppable energy.
This was so much fun!
Just before halftime, Leon had a moment of pure brilliance. He received the ball on the edge of Brightonâs box.
He saw a complex web of âoutstretched legsâ from defenders, âgloveâ projections from the goalkeeper. No clear shot.
So, Leon decided to have some fun.
He pulled off a âsombrero flickâ, scooping the ball over the head of a bewildered Brighton defender, then letting it drop at his feet on the other side. He then dribbled past another defender with a quick ânutmegâ (sending the ball through his legs). He was completely free, one-on-one with the goalkeeper, Jason Steele (Potential: 86, Current: 84).
He saw the âgloveâ projection from Steele, indicating he was anticipating a shot to the near post. Leon decided to be cheeky. He feigned a powerful shot, drawing Steele to one side, then, with a delicate touch, he gently passed the ball around Steele, rolling it towards the open net.
It was a beautiful, arrogant, utterly delightful piece of skill.
The ball rolled towards the goal. It looked like a certain goal. But then, to Leonâs utter disbelief, the ball slowed, just slightly, and hit the very outside of the post, trickling harmlessly wide!
OH MY WORD! The crowd gasped.
Leon stared, dumbfounded. Heâd passed the keeper! Heâd scored! But it had hit the post! He burst out laughing. It was such a Leon thing to happen.
So much flair, so much skill, and then... the universe just decided to tease him.
The first half ended 2-1 to Villa. Leon walked off the pitch, exhausted but beaming. He hadnât scored from that cheeky effort, but heâd put on a show. His âCurrent: 92â felt completely validated.
The second half began with Brighton pushing for an equalizer, but Leonâs dazzling dribbling continued to cause chaos.
He combined his âsightâ with the âFlair Dribblingâ, weaving through challenges, creating space for his teammates. He hit a no-look pass to Ollie Watkins (Current: 86), setting him up for a shot that forced a brilliant save from Steele.
Around the 70th minute, Villa sealed the win.
Leon received the ball in midfield, saw a âghosted arcâ of a long, diagonal pass, and executed it perfectly, sending Ollie Watkins (Current: 86) through on goal. Watkins made no mistake this time, burying it past Steele.
GOOOAL! Brighton 1 - Aston Villa 3!
Villa had won 3-1! Leon was ecstatic. He had put on a show, showcasing his incredible abilities.
He hadnât scored that second goal, but his performance, combining his âsightâ with Neymarâs âFlair Dribblingâ, had been truly unforgettable.
As he walked off the pitch, the sound of the Villa fans cheering his name, Leon knew this was just the beginning of truly unlocking his unique gifts.
