"A-Ah, please don’t worry. You don’t have to feel so bad," I said. "I think I passed out because I used a super strong attack that drained all my divine energy in one go. It has mostly recovered by now. How long did I sleep?"

"Oh! You’re not mad?!" Scarlet beamed, her long tail wagging excitedly. "You slept for about an hour."

"Your parents reprimanded us..." Sapphire sighed. "And Aquarina was really mad... Could you tell them to forgive us?"

"Ugh, stop asking all the time!" Sapphire complained, turning into a floating shield. "And I deserve them more!"

"Come at me! I am impenetrable!" Sapphire hissed back.

They started fighting out of nowhere again.

Well, maybe that was for the better. They had always been rivals, after all.

"I can also turn into a little fairy form," Yggdra said, appearing on my mother’s shoulder and hugging my face. She had grown much clingier ever since she became the mother of the new goddess of dungeons. I think she saw me as her wife or something, even though she probably did not fully understand what that meant. That baby was technically our child, though I had never wanted to elaborate on it because of the complicated feelings that might arise. "Is it fine like this, Master?"

"It is," I nodded, patting her little head and kissing her forehead too. "Very cute."

"Fufu, am I cute? I’m so glad," she blushed adorably.

"..." Nephilim walked behind me with a sad expression. "I can’t turn into a cute and small form... I’ve failed as your familiar, Master."

"Hahaha, you don’t have to worry about that," I laughed, patting her shoulders. "You’re fine the way you are, Nephi. Anyway, aren’t you hungry? Let’s go see how everyone else is doing."

"Hm!" Nephilim nodded, her eyes brightening. "I also love you, Master...!"

"Did you miss me that much?" I asked as she hugged me from behind.

As we walked onto the beach, I heard someone running toward me.

"Heheh~ I’m glad!" She kissed me again. "Anyway, I was about to roast this thing, but they said divine fire is better. Now that you’re awake, wanna help us make a barbecue? Our parents and everyone else are over there."

"Let’s go over there," she whispered with a mischievous smile as she carried me toward the jungle behind the trees.
