Chapter 100: Casual Supremacy

Rowan’s voice turned colder.

"That’s why my attack didn’t destroy your core."

Rowan smiled.

"Am I right?"

Hai’s eyes narrowed.

Then he spoke slowly.

"You’re not just strong."

His aura flared.

"In fact."

"You’re smart."

The last trace of the hole on Hai’s stomach closed completely.

Not even a scar remained.

Hai’s expression became colder.

"But I’ll tell you this again."

He lifted his sword.

"I’m still toying with you."

His eyes glowed darker.

"But as I speak to you."

Hai’s lips curled.

"You really are outstanding for a human."

He paused.

"Or for a being that claims to be human."

Rowan’s face didn’t change.

Hai continued.

"But it doesn’t change the fact."

His voice dropped.

"You have to die."

Rowan smirked.

"Oh really?"

Hai’s aura surged.

"Yes."

"If you don’t want to die painfully."

Hai raised his blade.

"Then give me your head."

His eyes turned cold.

"I really need your head."

"Or else."

His sword tilted forward.

"I’ll take it myself."

Talking big again, huh? Well... believe it or not, Rowan said, releasing a massive surge of his aura.

The forest trembled.

Trees bent, branches snapped, and even the distant ground quaked.

Rowan raised his blade sideways, staring at Hai.

"Well... I don’t have time to waste anymore," he muttered.

Hai then screamed, pouring 100% of his full power into himself.

BOOM!!

The forest shattered.

Every tree, even those far from the previous destruction, splintered and fell.

The shockwave tore through the air.

The ground shook violently, and everyone nearby, students, teachers, townsfolk, fell to their knees.

They struggled to breathe.

"The pressure... it’s too dense... I can’t...!" they gasped.

Hai’s expression darkened as he felt the overwhelming aura.

Rowan raised his sword higher, slicing the air.

"I need to clear this a bit," he said.

With a swift sweep, the wind tore through the debris, allowing the air to stabilize.

Even then, the people could barely stand; the force of Rowan’s aura was immense.

Michael’s unconscious body lay nearby, completely shielded under Rowan’s barrier.

Without it... he would have been nothing.

Rowan’s eyes narrowed, fixed on Hai.

"Well then... shall we continue?"

Hai tightened his grip on his sword, dark energy flickering around his body.

"Finally... let’s see what you’ve got," Hai said coldly.

Their swords clashed again with a thunderous roar, lightning-like energy sparking at every impact.

They were moving at the same speed, a blur of motion, impossible to track.

Fenrir’s massive eyes widened.

"What the hell...?" he growled, his deep voice rumbling like distant thunder.

His master, Rowan, was way stronger than before.

Hai, fast as he was, could barely keep up.

Even Fenrir, a divine beast, struggled to follow their movements.

The air around them trembled with thunderous clashes, colors of red, black, and blue flashing and intertwining.

He couldn’t make out their bodies, only streaks of light and bursts of energy.

They were slashing, kicking, dodging, accelerating, a storm of movement too fast for any ordinary being to comprehend.

Hai lunged for Rowan’s throat.

Rowan twisted, narrowly dodging, and accelerated forward.

Hai struck again, his hand stretching out to grab Rowan, but Rowan caught it, spun, and delivered a brutal kick to Hai’s face. BOOM!

Both recoiled slightly, only to charge again.

Hai’s hand glowed with a red-and-black aura, lightning crackling across it.

Rowan raised his own hand, blue energy spiraling around it.

They thrust their attacks toward each other.

BOOM!!

The explosion tore through the air, a blinding white light spreading for miles.

They hovered high above the ground, facing each other with unwavering focus.

The storm of energy, the clash of their swords, the sheer intensity of their aura, it was beyond comprehension.

And still... neither faltered.

Fenrir’s massive form tensed. His claws dug into the earth as he growled softly.

This... is truly the strength of my master.

Rowan moved forward.

The moment he did, the pressure in the sky shifted.

Hai’s eyes narrowed.

His living sword began to pulse as he poured more demonic energy into it, dark power flowing into the blade like a hungry storm.

The sword trembled. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Then Hai vanished.

VROOOM!

He reappeared in front of Rowan, swinging down with terrifying speed.

Rowan raised his sword.

CLANG!!

The impact cracked the air.

Hai attacked again.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!!

A storm of slashes.

A storm of sparks.

Rowan blocked every strike cleanly.

And still, his expression didn’t change.

Hai’s lips curled into a grin.

"This is amusing."

He continued slashing at insane speed.

But inside, his thoughts twisted.

I’ve never had this much fun in a fight...

But how the hell is he keeping up?

His speed... it shouldn’t be possible.

And that sword...

Hai’s eyes narrowed as he watched Rowan’s blade.

It’s just a normal sword.

A crappy human weapon.

So why isn’t it breaking?

Something wasn’t right.

But Hai didn’t care.

Not yet.

He kept attacking.

Rowan kept blocking.

Hai stepped forward to pressure him.

But instead...

Rowan pressured him.

Rowan’s strikes grew heavier.

Sharper.

Each clash forced Hai backward.

Hai frowned.

This...

Hai suddenly inhaled calmly.

Then, while still fighting,

He casually slid his left hand into his pocket.

And with only his right hand, he continued slashing.

CLANG!!

CLANG!!

CLANG!!

He smirked.

But Rowan didn’t slow down.

Rowan stepped in again.

And Hai raised his sword to block.

Then...

Rowan’s left hand moved.

His bare hand.

He slammed Hai’s sword away.

SMASH!!

Hai’s eyes widened.

"What...?!"

Rowan stepped in immediately.

His blade flashed.

SHHNK!!

The sword cut across Hai’s chest.

Blood burst out.

Hai shot backward in midair, instantly creating distance.

His wound regenerated almost immediately, flesh sealing itself shut.

But his expression darkened.

What the hell... again.

This is becoming annoying.

Hai stared at Rowan’s hand.

Touching my sword should’ve burned him to bone.

It’s coated in pure demonic energy.

And he parried it with his bare hand like it was nothing.

His jaw tightened.

Then Rowan spoke calmly.

Almost disappointed.

"Hah..."

Rowan lifted his blade slightly.

"I’m actually disappointed."

Hai’s eyes sharpened.

Rowan continued.

"You’re strong."

His aura flared.

"But you’re still weaker than me."
