"Sir, Messenger Tobey walked in the open streets with two new individuals."

A guard entered a room and relayed the situation.

"According to the patrols, the two individuals have consumed a disguise pill, so we cannot check who they are. Should we have them remove the disguise?"

Seated at the main chair, Dexter slowly absorbed the news calmly.

"You’re saying Messenger Tobey is walking boldly in the open streets and was seen by many onlookers?" He inquired.

"That is correct, Sir."

’Hmm, a fake would never be that bold and courageous.’ Dexter frowned internally. The way that Tobey behaved made him ponder what the mission really was about. But he didn’t dare to inquire further.

"Let them leave the city and don’t break off the disguise." He instructed.

"Yes, Sir!" The guard saluted and promptly excused themself from the room.

Shortly after the guard left the room, Dexter expanded his magical perception and inspected the scene himself.

Although it was going to be obvious that he would be detected, Dexter didn’t think it would be such a big deal.

In the meantime, Xu Feng felt a prickling sense.

Without hesitation, he instantly looked up in a specific direction and smiled warmly.

As soon as Dexter realized the party detected him, he quickly retracted his perception.

"Since he could sense me, he might really be Tobey," Dexter mumbled. That perception earlier was another test. If the latter failed to sense him or even give him a response, then it was hard for him to believe they were Tobey.

After all, Tobey was someone who was close to the Emperor.

Even if his skill wasn’t up to par, their senses and demeanors must be very high to be in the Emperor’s grace constantly.

Thus, he hurriedly glanced in their direction and smiled to swindle him so that he could perceive him.

The action sounded simple, but the fact that both Blue Star and Lightning Blade had no reaction proved they were ignorant of the ordeal.

Sometime later, they arrived at the teleport platform.

The guards were already informed of their presence and hurriedly greeted Xu Feng.

"Where do you wish to go, Messenger Tobey?"

"I can handle it alone, thanks."

Xu Feng raised his hand and wished to be in control. Naturally, it was to keep his whereabouts hidden from others.

The guard pondered for a moment before nodding his head. He had received instruction from above that the old man in front of him held a special identity.

Even a Tier 5 expert treated him as an equal, much less those who were lowly guards.

"Okay, how much do I need to pay for the transportation?" Xu Feng finished the input and asked.

"It’s free for you, Sir." The guard hurriedly shook his head. He didn’t even bother to check the price on the device.

As the three of them arrived at another city, Xu Feng promptly guided them to the wilderness.

His movement and action were extremely fast.

"Where are we going, Guild—Messenger?" Lightning Blade asked in confusion.

"To a discreet place and bury you alive." Xu Feng joked in response. Though part of it, he really wanted to bury Lightning Blade underground.

Lightning Blade lowered his head once again. He knew he had messed up big time, especially when his Guild Leader actually went on a disguise.

He wasn’t dense enough to not understand the severity of the situation if Xu Feng needed to become someone else and even put on a play.

"Okay, we should be far enough." Xu Feng suddenly halted his steps and turned to the two of them.

"Because you two are probably going to be marked or something, you are to stay low within Haven Wind Town. Try your best to avoid being spotted by NPCs for at least 3 days. In the meantime, head to Jeanette, aka the Inventor, to give you some cleansing potions to consume daily."

"We adhere to the order." Both Blue Star and Lightning Blade accepted the order.

"Good, now activate the town token and leave the vicinity."

"But what about you?" Blue Star inquired.

"I’ll have to leave some misdirection tracks. By now, the cities on the hit list are probably going to fall within a few days. There are a lot of things to do in the aftermath." His eyes narrowed in a glint of light.

Those fallen cities would soon be free property for the taking. At the same time, it would turn into a golden land for leveling.

He would definitely get his hands on them!

"Oh, by the way, all expenses on the Cleansing Potions would be paid by your own money or GMP. There will be no discounts!"
