Reincarnation Tribulation - All I Want Is A Peaceful Isekai Life
Chapter 130 - Adventurer Party(Part 14)
"C-come on, stop this, there’s no need to fight!" Cried Ilex in distress, watching on in horror.
"Shut up and help us, or we’ll kill you too! Use your Shadow Bind on him so that we can finish him off!" Snapped Sakri in response.
"B-but I-...," He trailed off with a conflicted look on his face.
"Tch, just stay out of our way and keep quiet if you aren’t going to help," Growled Ekspen in disgust.
I could burn them all with my blue flames...or alternatively, do I finally unveil Shadow Phase or Black Hole? Hm...actually, on second thought, I think I’ll hold back on those for now.
Yeah...this could be some good training. The three of them combined are still less of a threat than the Dragonoid, but fighting for real while outnumbered will be beneficial, and that’s the whole point of this whole thing, isn’t it...and I don’t exactly get a lot of opportunities to have death matches with other Adventurers.
"You know, what? I don’t need to go this hard against the likes of you," I scoffed tauntingly with a shake of my head, as I dissipated my blue flames and Magic Eater.
"Damned Heretic bastard...!" Snapped Ekspen, as the three of them shot towards me.
"If only you were more open minded. Your prejudices will be the death of you," I remarked icily, as I cracked my whip around me in a rapid arc.
Sakri and Ekspen managed to block it, a powerful explosion bursting out as my whip struck the latter’s blade, before the tip of the whip struck Dispo’s chest before he could block, leaving a wide slash across him.
"Hold him off for a minute!" Ekspen exclaimed to Sakri, who then raced towards me as Ekspen made his way towards Dispo.
Going to heal him, huh?
I then blocked one of her slashes with my whip before grabbing her other wrist to stop her second blade, kicking her torso and sending her stumbling back before rapidly extending my whip out towards her while simultaneously activating a metal Spell and firing out a spear from behind her.
She quickly tilted her body across in alarm, grimacing as my whip grazed her left shoulder and the spear gashed across the right side of her neck.
As the spear flew past her, I grabbed it and swiftly spun around, flinging it right back, straight at the middle of her torso. She swung her arms out to deflect it with her blades, shattering it as she landed and her feet skidded back slightly.
I grimaced as I heard Ekspen and Dispo rushing in towards me from behind, prompting Sakri to dash forward as well. I activated Jet Soles and Jet Boost to fly up before shooting down a barrage of fireballs at them.
They swung out their Soul Weapons to dissipate the incoming flames, before Dispo slammed his fist onto a nearby pillar, sending several broken chunks flying up towards me.
I opened a portal into my Pocket Dimension to block them, before I swooped down towards Sakri and swung my whip towards her rapidly, aiming to decapitate her.
She blocked it with one of her blades, before I swift extended my whip, which wrapped around her arms and shoulders as it hit her blade, drawing out trickles of blood as it cut into her skin.
Dispo then threw Ekspen up towards me, who slashed at me with his sword as he closed in. I flew out of his reach and evaded the blade, before swinging my foot out and slamming my heel onto his face, breaking his nose and sending him plummeting back down towards the ground.
He managed to stabilize himself and landed on his feet, healing his face as blood dripped down his nostrils. They’re strong and fast, and they work pretty well as a team...but they only attack with their Soul Weapons.
They can’t cast Spells, and they probably don’t have any attack Skills. I’ve got way more tricks up my sleeve than they do, it’s probably just a matter of time before I wear them down at this rate.
What’s more, they’re so blinded by their rage towards me that they aren’t fighting as effectively as they’re capable of. It’s kinda sad, really...I was just starting to like them too. Oh, well, it can’t be helped, they haven’t given me a choice in the matter.
I then descended back down towards the ground, landing with a sigh. They stared at me warily, seeming uncertain as to why I’d come back down.
"Toy with us, will you, you piece of shit?" Growled Dispo, as I smirked at them condescendingly.
"You won’t live to regret it," Added Ekspen with a look of rage.
"Oh, you misunderstand me, I’m not toying with you. I’m just treating you as training dummies. Emphasis on dummies," I taunted with a laugh.
"Why, you...!?" Exclaimed Sakri furiously, as she began to zip towards me, along with the other two.
She thrusted her blades at my head as she closed in, which I ducked to evade before Dispo slammed his fists onto the ground, knocking me off balance.
Sakri swung her blades down at me, which I quickly tucked and rolled away to avoid, a small cut appearing down my forehead as one of her blades nicked me. Crap, my balance is all messed up...I might not be able to dodge the next attack.
I grimaced as Ekspen closed in on me and drove his sword in towards my heart, I spun my body across as fast as I could, but as I expected, I failed to fully evade his blade.
I let out a stifled gasp of pain as it pierced into my right shoulder and an explosion burst out, blowing off my arm as I flicked my whip handle to my left hand just in time as my right arm flew away, my shoulder and my entire right side badly damaged.
I then unleashed a wave of swirling wind and streaks of blue flames around me, forcing him to back away as severe burns appeared across his arms and torso.
I healed the damage I’d sustained as fast I could, my bones rapidly growing back, followed by my muscles, nerves and veins.
"Let’s keep at it, he can’t heal forever!" Exclaimed Ekspen, as he clutched his sword with both hands.
"We’ll wear him down until he stays down for good!" Agreed Dispo, the three of them starting to shoot in towards me as my skin started to grow back...when suddenly, they all froze in place, as did I.
"E-enough, already! Why are you doing this!? You talk about how awful the Nobles are, but what you’re doing right now is no different to how they treat Commoners!" Yelled Ilex, his fists clenched and his shoulders trembling, a look of anguish on his face.
Well, looks who’s starting to come out of his shell. Hm...fine, I’ll spare him, even though I really don’t appreciate him restraining me like this. I can still move my head, looks like he can control the extent of the binding.
He was quiet all this time, he must have been waiting for all us to land on shadows so that he could bind everyone simultaneously. This won’t hold me though, or at least, that’s what I’m about to find out...
"Undo your Shadow Bind immediately, and we won’t kill you along with this Heretic scum!" Snapped Ekspen, his eyes bulging with rage.
"You’re making a mistake here, Ilex! Your sympathy is wasted on this lowlife bast-...!" Began Sakri, before trailing off as her head was separated from her shoulders.
Heretic Spell: Shadow Phase.
So long as I don’t fully emerge from the shadows, I can move freely. I’d emerged from her shadow behind her and decapitated her with my whip, there’s no healing her now...speaking of which, I’ll target the healer next.
"Y-you son of a-...!" Ekspen began to wail in rage and despair, but his voice cut off as I then sunk back into the shadows and shot across towards him, shooting up from his shadow and driving my whip up through the bottom of his jaw, piercing through his head and killing him as well.
"W-wait, stop!" Cried Ilex in horror, but there’s no way I was going to stop.
After Ekspen blew off my arm, I was done messing around and was getting ready to finish them off with my most powerful attacks...but this makes things a lot easier, they’re just sitting ducks now.
I dropped back into the shadows as Ekspen’s body began to collapse, a look of fear in Dispo’s eyes as I emerged from his shadow and met his gaze with a cold look in my eyes.
"You guys brought this on yourselves, I hope you realize that...now die," I remarked blankly, as I drove the dagger end of my whip through his heart and gave it a violent twist, eliciting a sharp gasp from him.
I then yanked it out and gave his body a push, leaping out of his shadow and landing on a spot where there weren’t any shadows cast.
"Y-you killed them...," Muttered Ilex shakily, as he collapsed onto his knees.
"Yeah, well, they tried to kill me first. And I think I saw more than enough evidence that they weren’t going to change their minds, they even threatened to kill you for not helping them. So...are you gonna try to kill me too?" I inquired with a raised eyebrow...
