I managed to block most of the incoming purple energy streaks using the portal to my Pocket Dimension, before hissing in pain as one struck my left knee, wiping out all traces of it as the lower half of my leg got severed and hit the ground with a thud, blood pouring out.

I collapsed down onto one knee and began focusing on regenerating as I widened the portal in front of me, as Izzy continued to pound her fists into the ground with immense force, sharply deepening and widening the crater, thick clouds of dust filling the cavern as several long, wide cracks spread out across the space.

I could see sludge attacks shooting towards Izzy relentlessly, but the force of her attacks meant that they couldn’t even get close to hitting her, as she continued rampaging and going berserk.

I can sense it, the immense desperation behind Plasmuk’s attempted attacks...she’s on the right track, his core must be right beneath her, a few more hits should do it!

What’s more, the quantity of sludge around the cavern has diminished significantly, I could easily escape using Shadow Walk right now, but I won’t leave Izzy here alone-...hm?

I don’t see Lumena...did she use that Spell to slip away? Well, can’t exactly blame her. If I were in her position, I’d have likely done the exact same thing.

’I don’t see any more slime around the cavern...she must have vaporized most of it by now, his defenses are all but gone!’ Realized Azazel, sounding pretty optimistic. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Suddenly, as Izzy drove her fist down at the bottom of the crater again, a loud hissing sound echoed out as her fist slammed onto the ground along with a splat, an enraged snarl escaping her lips as she drew back her fist, the skin over it completely gone.

It regenerated almost instantly, but for a brief moment, she ceased her barrage. And in that moment, a sphere of sludge suddenly burst out from beneath her, a spray of acid shooting out from it as it flew out of her reach as she swiped her claws at it while coated in purple energy, vaporizing a chunk of it.

I can see it, a small speck in the middle of that sphere...that must be it, his core! Yeah, I can sense it, his presence is lot more clear and stronger now, and I don’t sense his presence anywhere else in the cavern!

It’s over for him now, he’s in no state to defend himself against Izzy, one more attack from her will be enough to-..huh? Damn it, no!

She’s shifting her focus back towards the bottom of the crater, ignoring the ball of slime! Hell no, I’m not letting him get away!

I quickly raised my hand towards it and enclosed it in a hollow, spherical barrier, before opening a portal into my Pocket Dimension below it, the trapped ball of slime falling into the portal before I quickly shut it, letting out a strained sigh of relief.

’We...we did it! We defeated him!’

Yeah...but, uh, it’s not over yet. She didn’t notice me all this time, but her attention is now fixed on me. She’s about to attack...

She had her gaze narrowed in on me, growling threateningly as she stepped out of the crater, purple energy pouring out of her left eye and wrapping around her arms and fists, swirling and compressing around them with sharp intensity.

Suddenly, she vanished from sight, before my eyes widened in alarm as I met her gaze, right in front of me, her right fist drawn back.

I quickly tilted my head off to the right as she drove her fist towards my face, narrowly avoiding it as her fist grazed the left side of my face, vaporizing my skin and my left ear as I felt the bones on the left side of my face cracking severely.

H-holy crap, that would’ve killed me instantly if it had hit me directly!

I dropped down into my shadow in a hurried rush, to which she responded by snapping her jaws at my throat. I quickly tilted my body across in alarm, grimacing in pain as she bit a chunk out of my right shoulder, before I disappeared into my shadow, letting out a strained sigh of relief.

Hm? Oh, there’s Lumena...looks like she’s been hiding down in the shadows this whole time, watching. She glanced at me as Izzy began pummeling the spot on the ground where I’d disappeared through, roaring wildly.

Azazel, get ready to activate that sealing technique. I’m counting on you...I’ll almost definitely die if it doesn’t work, or if it takes too long to cast.

’It’ll take at least a few seconds to come into effect, I’d estimate it at ten seconds at most. Will you be able to survive for that long?’

Ten seconds, huh? Yeah, that’s a bit longer than I’d have liked, but it can’t be helped. Don’t suppose she’ll just tire herself out if we wait?

’Unlikely. Her power has grown immensely compared to how it was before King Satan first placed a seal on her. Back then, she would eventually stop rampaging after a few hours whenever her full power was triggered. But it could be days before that happens with how much it has currently grown.’

Yeah, we can’t stay down here for that long. So, I just need to touch her face in order for you to activate the sealing technique, right?

’Yes. For some reason, her power is generated and stored behind her right eye, the closer to that spot you touch, the faster the technique will come into effect. For instance, if you touched her foot, it’d take potentially a full minute to activate.’

Ain’t no way I can last a full minute...alright then, let’s go for broke...
