"You may make the first move, I shall stay still until you launch an attack," Remarked Frielektra, as she moved a few paces away from me and planted her feet, while Satan and Izzy gave us some space.

My eyes have adjusted to the darkness in the cavern, my eyesight has greatly improved ever since I formed my Contracts, so the darkness shouldn’t affect me too much.

"Alright, sounds good. I’ll be sure to take full advantage of that," I replied with a smirk, as I triggered my Contracts, wings sprouting out of my upper back as my skin turned dark blue, horns growing out on either side of my head as a tail extended out of my lower back.

"Ah, so it is true, you really do possess a Contract with a Demon," Mused Frielektra in fascination.

"Oh, you haven’t seen anything yet...now, Soul Weapon Ascension: Belt of Dragon Whiskers!" I chanted, a belt forming around my waist with two tail-like whips at the back, as a pair of jagged daggers with spikes on the handles over my knuckles appeared in my hands.

Her eyes widened in surprise as I formed a large, swirling blue fireball in front of me, charging it up and compressing it while spinning it with immense force, the air around it shimmering violently from the intense heat it was giving off as the flames illuminated the cavern in a pale, fiery blue light.

"How is this possible? A human casting Dragon Fire, how fascinating," She remarked with an intrigued look on her face, as I added crackling streaks of lightning around the fireball.

I then took aim and fired the intensely swirling fireball at her, before sprinting forward the instant I fired it, getting her within the range of my Distance Casting as the fireball began to close in on her, before I swiftly and briefly cast a small Black Hole Spell right behind her.

Her eyes widened in alarm as the gravitational force behind her pulled her off balance, before she quickly crossed her arms in front of herself as my fireball closed in on her and crashed onto her, the flames erupting out with immense force and starting to spread across the area around her.

Suddenly, the flames got drawn in towards her, as she opened her mouth and consumed the flames, absorbing them into her body before slowly exhaling.

"Quite impressive...but I am the Plasma Dragon King, so attacks made of plasma, fire or lightning have no effect on me. Now, then, it’s my turn to attack," She remarked with a gleam in her eyes, before she spread out her wings and shot towards me with immense speed.

I briefly cast another Black Hole Spell below her as she began to close in on me, pulling her downwards and slowing her down before I rapidly extended out my whips in front of myself and swung them in towards her.

She quickly flapped her wings with immense force, launching herself up into the air right as my whips converged in on her, before she swiftly swooped down towards me and spun her body across, blue flames erupting around her tail as she whipped it towards me.

I rapidly slashed one of my daggers up at her tail as it closed in on me, slicing off a few inches off the end of it, grimacing as the flames wrapped around it grazed my wrist and set it ablaze, the flames rapidly spreading out across my forearm before I sprang back and turned my arm to slime, detaching everything from the elbow onwards before the flames could spread any further. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Physical attacks don’t work on me anymore since I can turn my body to slime, but attacks like Dragon Fire are still a serious threat to me...I can regenerate from pretty much any injury by producing more slime, even decapitation likely wouldn’t kill me, but if her flames engulf me entirely, all the slime I could produce would get evaporated faster than I can regenerate.

Now, then, I think I’ll start attacking more relentlessly, try to overwhelm her and-...

"Okay, I think that should do it," Stated Frielektra, stretching her arms up as she regenerated her tail, relaxing and letting her guard down.

Huh?

"Seriously? That was only, like, twenty seconds," I responded in bemusement.

"I just wanted to see how powerful you are...and it seems like you are indeed quite significantly powerful. I am satisfied...so, with that said, yes, I will join your nation. I’ve been in hiding and idle for far too long, the thought of being able to once again fly freely in the sky is hard to resist," She replied, before adding curiously, "I must ask, were you holding back against me?"

"Huh? No, definitely not...I mean, I used my Contracts and Soul Weapon Ascension, plus I didn’t hold back with that fire Spell, though I should’ve figured that it wouldn’t be effective against you."

"No, that isn’t what I meant. That Spell you cast twice, the one with the powerful force that pulled me off balance, you only cast it for a second each time."

"Oh, that...yeah, I guess you could say I was holding back with that Spell. Whatever gets sucked into it is completely wiped out of existence, and I didn’t want to kill you, so...," I trailed off sheepishly.

"I must admit, I don’t believe I had an accurate idea of how powerful you are. To have the luxury of holding back while sparring against a Dragon King, that is quite remarkable," Chimed in Satan, as he walked over with Izzy.

Heh, well, this is a nice boost to my ego...
