"It’s simple, really...release the Demon you’ve got under your control over to us and no harm will come to you. We can even sign a peace treaty if you want. But refuse, and we’ll just use force to get what we want. And believe me, you don’t want that...thousands of your people will die if that happens, all of you included," I surmised as I leaned back in my seat with a smile.

"D-damn, you...! W-we won’t be intimidated into-...!" Began the King of Onyx, before trailing off and flinching as Satan tapped his foot against the floor with a cold glare, the room shaking slightly as he cracked the tiles around that spot, the cracks spreading out deeply from around the point of impact.

Today’s the 20th of Quintilis, 2020, and with the situation in our new nation of Arcadia finally settled and stable, we decided that it was about time that we made our move and freed the remaining Demons.

We’ve already cleared three out of five; we freed Lucifer from Obsidian, Satan from Hematite, and Azazel escaped on his own from Agate. So, that just left Onyx and Zircon.

We decided to go to Onyx first, since it’s right next to Arcadia, while Zircon is a fair bit further down to the south, so we’ll save Zircon for last.

It was just me, Satan and Frielektra, we figured the three of us should be enough to persuade Onyx’s Royals to cooperate without putting up a futile fight.

We just flew into the capital city and busted into the castle, where we encountered a lot of Knights, whom we just incapacitated instead of killing, I figured that could help us convince the King that we are willing to deal with this without bloodshed, which could make him more open to agreeing to our demand.

As insurance, Lucifer and Izzy were waiting outside the nation’s border...if the three of us don’t return within a specified amount of time, the two of them are to charge in and lay waste to the city.

"You should consider yourselves lucky, humans...we could quite easily kill you all and simply free my comrade ourselves, but instead, we have opted to show you mercy and give you a chance to have your lives intact at the end of this. It would be foolish to waste this chance, do you really want to throw your lives away unnecessarily?" Inquired Satan with narrowed eyes.

"Can we please hurry this up? This is rather tiresome," Sighed Frielektra impatiently, looking bored.

"I-I shall not stand for this! Knights! Kill them! Kill them dead!" Snapped the King, before all the Knights in the throne room rushed over and surrounded the three of us.

"Fine, I guess a little show of power should help convince you. I’ll handle this myself," I remarked, before turning my left hand into slime and rapidly extending it out towards the Knights on our left, while unleashing a burst of blue flames towards the Knights to our right.

Screams of pain rang out as the flames engulfed them and set them ablaze, before I enveloped the rest with my slime and turned it to acid slime, melting their bodies down to mush in a matter of seconds, as the ones I’d unleashed my flames at got reduced to smoldering piles of ash.

I then activated my Magic Eater Skill, swallowing up the flames before they could spread any further, before turning my gaze back towards the King, who had gone pale with fear.

"I-impossible...those were some of our best Knight! H-how...how could you defeat them so easily!?" He cried in horror.

"As much as I hate to admit it, I’m probably the weakest of the three of us here. And if I just defeated about a dozen of your best Knights, do you really want to force the likes of me, a Dragon King and the Demon Lord to resort to using violence to deal with this matter?" I inquired with a raised eyebrow.

"I couldn’t have said it better myself. Will you throw away you life and the lives of your people in vain? Or will you cooperate with our request and ensure that no one else has to die here?" Added Satan malevolently.

"I-I...very well. I have no choice...damn it, I can’t believe I have to trust the word of you damned monsters," Growled the King bitterly, as he got up out of his throne and walked down the steps.

"Don’t worry, we’ll keep our word. All we want is for you to free the Demon under your control, nothing more. Once you do that, we’ll have no reason to harm you or any of your citizens. And like I said before, we’re also open to signing a peace treaty, we have no interest in starting any wars between either your nation or any of the other nations. In other words, so long as you leave us alone, we’ll do the same," I surmised, as he began to lead the way out of the throne room.

"Yes, I would be lying if I said I did not harbor any animosity and resentment towards you humans for what you did to us Demons over two centuries ago. But further conflict will not change the past, and I have lost enough comrades, I do not wish to lose any more. It’s quite clear that, for the most part, the humans of this era are far weaker, at least on average, to the humans that brought about the downfall of us Demons. Wiping out the lot of you would be quite a simple matter...so, do not give me a reason to resort to that," Satan warned him, as we walked out the throne room and made our way through the corridor, following after the King of Onyx...
