Chapter 364: Chapter 364 - Vampire Downtime(Part 1)

"Ugh, this is mediocre...fetch me some higher quality blood, livestock!" I huffed, as I flung my glass at the human, the blood splattering across his chest as it struck him, before the glass shattered as it plummeted and hit the floor, as I added, "And clean that up, while you’re at it!"

"Y-yes, I understand..."

Tch, humans with greater Mana Capacity have more delectable blood, and there are only a handful on humans in our livestock farms with Mana Capacity high enough that their blood is of decent quality.

Of course, we can’t drain too much blood from them or they’ll die...it’s a shame that so many of the strongest humans in the Light Continent refused to yield and continued to defy us, leaving us with no choice but to kill them. What a waste of good blood...

"Hm? Who is it?" I inquired as a knock on my door echoed out.

"It’s me."

"Come in. Has something happened?" I frowned warily, as one of the other Elder Vampires opened the door and entered the room.

"No, nothing in particular. I was just feeling bored, that’s all," She shrugged in response.

"Tch, then go bother someone else. I’m in the mood to be alone right now, Lavinia," I replied with a sigh.

"Oh, don’t be like that. I know you don’t dislike being in my company, isn’t that right?" She smirked as she walked over, leaning over my chair and draping her arms around me from behind.

Lavinia, one of my fellow Elder Vampires, she had light pink hair tied up in a ponytail, red eyes, bright red lipstick, and a pale complexion...she was quite alluring and attractive, and she made use of that to seduce humans and trick them to turn them into Vampires.

"I suppose not, but-...hm? You smell of human...have you been doing that again?" I frowned as I scrunched up my nose.

"Mhm, of course...you should give it a try too, it’s the best way to make use of livestock with lower quality blood," She leaned down and whispered, tracing her lips across the top of my ear.

"Absolutely not...the very thought of it disgusts me."

"Don’t be such a prude, Jevera. I’ve identified several humans who are quite adept at sex, I can recommend them to you if you’d like," She offered as she ran her fingertips across my collarbone.

"I’m going to have to decline. I would rather die than get intimidate with lowly livestock."

"Well, you’re missing out...when humans are in a state of arousal, the quality of their blood temporary spikes. In that state, even the blood of humans with low Mana Capacity becomes incredibly delicious, both men and women alike. Though if I had to pick, I would choose a male, their semen serves as a pleasant accent to their arousal-enriched blood," She sighed with a lick of her lips.

"The more you talk about it, the less convinced I am and the more disgusted I feel."

"Aw, you’re no fun...come on, what’s the harm in giving it a try? Just try it once, and if you don’t like it, I’ll never bring it up again."

"Enough, you aren’t going to change my mind about this, Lavinia. If this is all you came here to talk about, then leave," I huffed in response.

"Fine, I’ll drop it...for now, anyway, I’m not giving up," She replied with a smirk, before walking around my chair and sliding onto my lap as she wrapped her arms around my shoulders.

"You should give up, because it’ll be a waste of effort...I haven’t budged on this matter in centuries, and that isn’t going to change," I sighed, as I placed an arm around her waist.

"You’re so stubborn and prideful...but then, that is what I like about you," She whispered, her lips a hairs’ width ahead of mine.

"Then give me more attention instead of wasting it on the humans," I responded as I pulled her closer towards me.

"Ah, is that what it’s about? Are you jealous?" She smirked as she lightly ran her thumb across my lower lip.

"I’m offended that you would even suggest that," I huffed, before she pressed her lips against mine, caressing them between hers as she clamped her hand around my neck, steadily tightening her grip as I let out a slight gasp.

"Mm, you’re so cute...," She whispered as she traced my lips with her tongue.

"You talk too much sometimes...just shut up and kiss me," I responded, grabbing the back of her neck and pushing her head towards mine-...

"E-excuse me, Miss Jevera, I’ve got the blood that you reques-...," Came my human slave’s voice as the door opened, before I cut him off with a swift blast of blood from my fingertip, shooting a hole through his forehead.

"I thought I told you to knock before entering, livestock," I growled as he collapsed onto his knees and began to fall over, before I extended out a tendril of blood from my palm and grabbed the glass of blood before it could spill.

I then pulled the glass towards me as the human slumped against the floor with a thud, blood pouring out of his head and pooling around the tiles as I took hold of the glass, swirling the blood around as I took a whiff of it.

"That wasn’t very nice...what a waste," Sighed Lavinia, staring at the blood spilling out of the corpse’s head.

"That one’s blood was of pitifully low quality, he’s easily replaceable. And besides, once we take over the Dark Continent, we’ll have all the livestock and blood we could dream of, so a few deaths here and there is inconsequential," I shrugged as I took a sip of the blood...not bad, but could be better.

"Yes, I suppose you have a point. Now, then...where we were?"
