Chapter 94: Chapter 94 - First Date(Part 1)

"Huh? What do you mean you might not let me out till sometime tomorrow?" Frowned Prysm apprehensively.

"Exactly what I said. It’s a pretty slim possibility, if I’m being honest, but I figured I might as well let you know that the possibility exists," I replied with a shrug.

"I don’t understand why there’s such a possibility in the first place. If you’re going out somewhere, just leave me in the room, it shouldn’t be a problem at night," She responded in confusion.

"It’s not that I’m leaving the room, it’s more that...hm, how to put this? Right, it’s more that I might return to the room with some company," I remarked as I averted my gaze.

It’s currently around 7 PM, and Rosary had agreed to meet me at a bar at 8 PM, so there’s about an hour left. It’s pretty close to this inn, and while the most likely outcome in the end will be me coming back alone, I’d like to prepare for the possibility that, you know...I might get lucky.

Yeah, that kiss she hit me with really turned me on, it’s been on my mind the whole time since then. I’m probably reading too much into it...but in the event that I’m not, I want to be ready.

Haven’t gotten any action since I had my way with the body of the God who reincarnated me, and I’m at the legal age of this world now, so I think I’m done waiting. If nothing happens tonight, maybe I’ll visit a brothel or something sometime later.

"Oh. Okay, I see," Muttered Prysm sullenly.

Hm? Gotta say, I thought she’d argue a lot more. I’ll take it, the less resistance she puts up to going into my Pocket Dimension, the better.

"Glad we could come to an understanding. I’ll be leaving around 7:45 PM or so, so I’ll need you in my Pocket Dimension before then," I informed her.

"Fine, whatever," She responded moodily, as she flopped onto the bed, face first onto a pillow, letting out a slight huff.

Guess she’s salty over the possibility of having to spend the whole night inside my Pocket Dimension. I do feel a tiny bit bad about it, so I decided to be considerate...

"Here, I got you this bucket and a roll of toilet paper to take with you in there, along with food and water, of course," I remarked, as I held up the bucket.

"Ugh...," She grunted in displeasure, swaying her legs and thudding them onto the mattress.

Well, she is still a kid, so I shouldn’t take any tantrums or pouty behavior too seriously. Though, now that I think about it, she doesn’t ever really throw any tantrums, even when she has to do something she doesn’t like or want to.

Maybe I’ll buy her something later to appease her, if she’s still in a bad mood later. She’s definitely gonna be pretty grumpy if I do end up not letting her out till tomorrow.

I then headed into the bathroom to take a shower and freshen up, before getting changed into some fresh clothes and heading back out while toweling my head, checking myself out in the mirror.

Okay, not bad. It’s almost time to go, I should head out shortly. Hm, should I get her flowers or something, or is that too cliche? Yeah, I think I’ll refrain...the idea of doing that kinda makes me cringe for some reason.

It’s probably for the best if I just keep this casual...I should just consider it a normal hangout instead of a date, I’ll just act like how I always do around her, instead of trying to act overly flirty or whatever.

I don’t exactly have a lot of experience with flirting or seduction, I’ve never actually dated anyone. There was the bang maid in my old life, but that wasn’t exactly a normal relationship. Yeah, I definitely wouldn’t call that a relationship by any stretch of the imagination.

So, yeah, I’ve never actually been out on a real date before with anyone, this is basically my first date. But if I treat it as such, it’ll just make me nervous.

So, instead of trying something that’s out of my comfort zone and making a fool of myself, it’s probably for the best if I just be myself. Alright, it’s about time for me to head out now.

"Okay, Prysm, it’s time to get in," I remarked, as I opened up a portal leading into the Pocket Dimension.

"Yeah, fine," She grumbled, as she rolled off the bed and dragged her feet towards the portal, snatching the bucket from me with a mutter as she headed into the portal.

I let out a sigh of relief as I shut the portal once she was inside, stretching my arms up. I then opened a portal into a different section of my Pocket Dimension, taking out a bottle of wine that I’d bought after leaving the Guild earlier today, along with a couple of glasses.

I also took out a bottle of iced tea, putting both bottles into the mini-fridge in the room. I figured I’d offer her something to drink here after we’re done at the bar...the iced tea if we’re too drunk for more alcohol, and the wine for if we’re not drunk enough.

Yeah, I’d say there’s like a ninety percent chance that she’ll turn me down, but like I said, I might as well be prepared for the possibility that she agrees to it.

On another note, a few months ago, I’d tried smoking some weed in a place called Blont Town, but I didn’t feel anything. I then realized that it was my Universal Resistance Skill at play.

A few weeks later though, I figured out how to suppress it, and gave getting stoned another shot in a place called Toinj Village. And I have to say, I liked it, I felt relaxed and chill. It was pretty nice.

Anyway, it’s time to head out. I then left the inn and made my way to the bar we’d agreed to meet up at, feeling a bit nervous. I’m trying to go with the mindset that nothing’s gonna happen and I’ll be returning to the inn alone, but I can’t help but think of the possibility of the opportunity happening.

I then turned the corner, the bar coming into sight just a little bit further up ahead. As I reached the bar and began to head in, I heard a voice calling out to me...

"Oh, hey, Larrk! You’re here nice and early, I appreciate your punctuality," Rosary greeted me with a smile, as she walked over.

Woah, she looks good...she’s wearing casual clothes, a simple black v-neck t-shirt with short sleeves and a white skirt that went down to her knees, and black sandals on her feet. Her hair, which she usually had down, was tied up in a high, shortish ponytail.

Her hair is about medium length, going down a couple of inches past her shoulders from behind, with the front covering her forehead and slightly framing her face. I’m digging the ponytail, it’s cute.

"Right back at you," I replied with a wry smile.

"Shall we head in?" She suggested in response.

"Mhm, sounds good, lead the way."

I then followed in after her, she’d booked a booth for us since this place apparently gets pretty crowded and it’s hard to find a spot if you haven’t reserved a place already.

As one of the staff led us to the booth, we entered and took our seats, before the staff member handed us a menu and shut the sliding panel door of the booth.

Hey, nice, this is secluded and kinda intimate. The lighting is a bit dim, it’s a pleasant, cool temperature, and this booth is pretty small, so even though she’s sitting away from me, there isn’t a lot of space between us.

I’d say that you wouldn’t be able to fit more than three people in here, it’s pretty cozy. I then picked up and flipped through the menu, and to my delight, Rosary scooted over to get a better look. I was about to turn it a bit so that she could see too, but this is way better.

"What would you recommend for a first time drinker?" I asked her.

Oh, I know exactly what I’d like to try, but she’ll probably get suspicious if I order like I know my stuff. Hm? Oh, they have joints on the menu too, nice.

"Hm...I’d say a beer and three shots would be a good starting point, and then assess how drunk you are after that and determine if you can keep going," She surmised, before pointing as she added, "Go with three different shots, one each of these should be good for a first timer."

Hey, nice, two of those are among the options I was eyeing, she’s got good taste.

"Sure, I’ll take your word for it. I think I’ll also get myself one of these two gram joints," I mused, as I glanced through the options.

"Ah, good choice, I was going to do the same."
