Chapter 96: Chapter 96 - First Date(Part 3)

"It’s pretty dark and creepy, isn’t it?" Whispered Rosary, as we headed up the stairs.

"U-uh, yeah, sure is," I nodded nervously.

I know I’m getting the wrong idea here, but it’s super hard not to, given the situation right now! I mean, walking me to the inn is one thing, but walking me up to my room is a bit weird.

Wait, it’s possible that she’s doing this because she sees me as a kid. I may be fifteen, legally an adult in this world, but...let’s face it, fifteen is still super young. She’d be considered a predator if this was anything like my old world.

Mentally, I’m a lot more mature than my physical age, but it’s not like she knows that I have the memories of my previous life intact.

"Which one is your room?" She inquired, as we got to the top of the stairs.

"Oh, uh...it’s the door all the way at the end of the corridor, on the left side," I informed her.

She nodded as we headed that way, my chest starting to pound. Okay, just relax...in just a few seconds, I’ll have my confirmation that she didn’t come up here with any ulterior motives. As much as I hope she did, she almost definitely didn’t.

"Is this it?" She asked me, as we got to my room.

"Mhm, sure is. Well...thanks for the escort, I guess I’ll see you later," I replied, as I unlocked the door and opened it.

"Actually...if it’s not too much trouble, could I sit down for a bit and ask you for a glass of water?" She requested as she averted her gaze, after a brief pause.

Huh?

"I don’t, uh-...I mean, sure, of course. It’s no trouble at all," I responded casually, after initially being taken aback.

No way, is this really happening!? Okay, no, calm down...it’s probably exactly what she said, she’s likely feeling light headed and thirsty or something like that.

Alcohol isn’t exactly great for quenching thirst, and smoking makes your mouth and throat dry, that’s all there is to this, nothing more.

I then opened the door and let her in, my heart racing slightly as she entered the room. She smells really nice, and her legs look so hot in that skirt...I’ve been trying not to think about it all night, but I’m at my limit.

I walked over to the mini-fridge and took out a bottle of water, pouring it into a cup and handing it to her, before I took a few gulps from the bottle, while she sipped on the cup.

"So, uh, do you feel any better?" I asked her, as she finished drinking and I took the cup back and set it down.

"Hm? I feel fine, I wasn’t feeling unwell or anything," She responded with a confused look on her face.

B-but...she asked if she could sit down and have some water. I mean, yeah, she didn’t actually say that she was feeling woozy or whatever, but it was seemingly clearly implied!

"Oh...well, that’s good, right?" I replied in bemusement, blanking on what to say next.

"Why don’t you sit down?" She suggested, patting the spot on the bed next to her.

"S-sure, why not?" I responded a bit nervously, as I tentatively sat down beside her.

Holy crap, this is nerve-wracking...should I make a move? But if I’ve misread the situation, that’d be absolutely mortifying.

"Hm...," She mused, as she moved her face close to mind and narrowed her eyes, raising her hand above the top of her head and then over mine, "You’ve gotten a fair bit taller, haven’t you?"

"W-well, it has been more than three years, so..."

"Yeah, true. Hey, tell me...did my Intoxicate really not affect you at all?" She inquired curiously.

"Huh? Oh, uh...well, I mean, I wouldn’t say it didn’t affect me at all, I did feel pretty, you know, flustered and stuff. But no, I didn’t feel drunk or anything," I shrugged in response, feeling a bit bemused.

I’m so confused right now, did her Skill failing to work on me bother her or something? Is that why she’s here?

"Hm, I see. I’ve studied up on all my Skills, using notes from people who’ve possessed them before and documented how their perceived and used their Skills. And the only resistance Skills that can block Intoxicate are Poison Resistance and Universal Resistance. But since you were able to get drunk, it can’t be those-...," She frowned as her brows furrowed.

"Oh, actually...I can suppress my resistance Skill if I want to," I informed her.

"Wait, really? You can do that?" She responded in surprise.

"Mhm, sure can."

"I see...in that case, do you...do you mind if I try using Intoxicate on you again, while you suppress your resistance Skill?" She requested with a serious look on her face.

Huh...not exactly the sexiest way someone’s asked to kiss me, but I’ll take it.

"S-sure, go for it. It’s suppressed right now, since I didn’t want to sober up immediately, which would’ve been a waste of-...," I began, before she swiftly cut me off with a kiss, after a swift, rapid chant to activate it.

Wow, that’s sloppy as hell, and I’m definitely not complaining. I then suppressed my Universal Resistance, sobering up instantly. Okay, I think I’m starting to feel something. It’s-...huh? W-woah, I’m...my head is spinning, I’m feeling really dizzy...this must be the effect of Intoxicate, talk about intense.

I have to say-...wait, hold on, I just completely lost my train of thought. O-okay, I think that’s enough, I don’t like this! I quickly stopped suppressing Universal Resistance, feeling relieved as I sobered up instantly.

"That...definitely worked, it got so intense that I had to stop suppressing my resistance Skill," I remarked with a slight gasp, as we pulled away to catch our breaths.

"Huh? Oh, right, Intoxicate, I forgot."

"Wait, what? What do you mean?" I responded uncertainly.

"W-well, it’s-...okay, I-I guess I should be honest...I was just making an excuse. During our timeout in today’s duel, I was genuinely curious about testing out your resistance Skill, even though I don’t like using Intoxicate directly like that, and I’ve never actually done so against an opponent in a fight or a duel...but, well, I ended up really, um...really enjoying that kiss.

I’m, uh...not very good at, you know, flirting with people, at least not seriously. So I ended up being really indirect and-...," She began ranting as her face turned red, before I cut her off by cupping her cheek, turning her head towards me and kissing her again.

H-holy crap, that was both so hot and incredibly adorable at the same time, I couldn’t hold myself back anymore! She’s actually into me, holy shit, this is the best!

"If I’m being honest...I was kinda hoping this would happen," I admitted as we pulled away for a moment.

"Y-yeah...I did too," She whispered in response, before kissing me again as she leaned into me.

I let myself fall back onto the bed as I kissed her back, caressing her lips with mine before I felt her tongue twirl against mine. I placed my hands on her sides and slowly let them trail down, running my fingertips across her body till I reached her hips and gave them a squeeze.

Her body is so firm and soft, I’m so incredibly turned on right now. And I’m sure she can feel it too...her thigh is pressed up between my legs, there’s absolutely no way she doesn’t feel it.

I then moved my mouth down to her other breast, sucking on it while I twirled her her nipples with my tongue and fingertip, before she suddenly grabbed my shoulders and flipped me back over again, so that she was on top.

She then turned around and scooted back, unbuckling my belt while her waist was right over my face. I reached up, cupping her ass and lower her hips towards me, as I felt her take off my belt and pushing down my trousers, exposing me.
