After a little bit of effort, Elena managed to finally track down what was causing this resonance. And during this searching process, this resonance had became even stronger.

As for what it was, Elena was still not sure. The object in question was located inside a void crack and was extremely well hidden and thoroughly protected by time and space concepts of extremely high degree.

Even for someone like Elena, dismantling these protections and getting her hands on the object would not be easy. Her understanding of time was still inferior to what was seen here.

Elena was very thorough with the process and when she was done, she had found out that all the anomaly that had been happening here, their origin was this void crack and most probably the item hidden there.

After finding this out, finally Elena got ready to break through the protecting barrier. She completely covered herself with the golden sword energy to keep herself as safe as possible and only after that she started to insert her sword into that barrier.

This barrier was extremely powerful. Even if all the supremes of Elena’s universe attacked this barrier together, they would not be able to even scratch it a little bit.

But the golden sword in Elena’s hand managed to easily pierced through it as if it was cutting a piece of paper and not a powerful barrier. Then Elena slowly moved her sword around while dismantling this barrier.

This whole barrier breaking process took only about 2 hours, which was actually a very short period of time as this barrier was extremely powerful.

Just as she managed to get rid of the last weak point of the barrier, it completely disappeared. And then, the thing present inside the barrier became visible.

The thing present inside the barrier had a weak but clear will of its own. And as soon as it noticed Elena, it came toward her with very high speed.

Elena’s insticts immediately tried to defend against this while her mind noticed that there was no hostility or danger that she felt from this item that looked like a seed.

So the defenses that she put up were very simple ones. Still, they were not weak by any means. But the seed like thing turned transparent and managed to bypass all of her barriers extremely easily.

This was actually a surprisingly poweful move. If any powerful weapon user was using this move, very few people would be able to defend against this. And at the same time, this ability also provided almost invincible defense against a vast majority of powerhouses.

But still, just as it was about to reach Elena, it was stopped by the golden sword energy layer covering her body. Fortunately Elena was cautious and had used it for her protection.

After being stopped, the seed became very frantic. It started ramming into the golden energy barrier and was continuously sending Elena some kind of distressed signal. Even though it was just a seed and nothing else, it actually looked very cute at this moment.

As for the distress signals, Elena used various appraisal type skills on the seed but did not get a clear picture. But from the bits and pieces of information that she had actually managed to find out, she judged this seed to not be dangerous.

So after thinking about this matter a little bit, she opened her golden sword barrier just a little bit and allowed the seed to reach her body.

At the same time, Elena also prepared a full powered attack of her and she was ready to launch it if she detected any kind of danger associated with this seed.

After entering her body, the seed started to absorb some of her blood. Not just blood but a little bit of her soul and her life force was also taken.

Even though these were very valuable things that this seed was absorbing, the amount which was absorbed was so low that it was not harmful to Elena at all.

That was why she did not launch her attack and allowed the seed to absorb them. Her instincts also told Elena that what was happening here was not a bad thing for her.

After the seed was done absorbing various essential parts of her existence, suddenly it started to transform. Then the seed suddenly turned into mini chibi Elena. It actually looked super cute.

As soon as this happened, Elena felt that she had suddenly made some kind of bond with this mini chibi Elena. And through that bonds, the information about the origin and function of this mini form of hers was sent to Elena’s mind.

But Elena actually had no time to even check this information as suddenly a large change happened here in this broken place. The time started to flow backward and the space also started to repair itself. But Elena was not worried about this because it was a good thing.

What she as worried about was the second change. A large hand made of unbelievably pure and high quality time energy was manifesting just over her head. And this hand was completely locked into her.

As soon as this had happened, Elena had immediately tried to use all her available skills to dodge this attack. She was not even entertaining the thought of defending against it because that would be impossible.

But she failed. This palm was firmly locked onto her and she was unable to dodge it. At the same time, Elena also realised that the target of this attack was actually not her but the mini chibi Elena inside her.

Now, if Elena abandoned this chibi version of hers, she could most probably save herself from this disaster. But was Elena was going to go something like that and run away ?

The answer of this question was very clearly no. She was a survivor but only when no one else was in danger. And in this case, a newly created part of herself was in danger of destruction. So there was no way that Elena would just allow that to happen.

So as she could not dodge or defend, she decided to do the last remaining action. Which was to face this attack head on with an attack of her own. It was time for Elena to put her life on the line once more after such a long time had passed since she had done the same last time.
