The next day, just as planned, Draegor introduced the three ladies to his officials. This did not really surprised most people as after yesterday’s announcement of the creation of new departments, something like this was expected.

But what surprised the people was quality of the individuals chosen. In this meeting, the emperor did not only made Agmi the head of food research, he also told the court about her strength and her assisting the empire in exterminating dangerous threats.

A level 8000 plus powerhouse was a big deal. Even the Otrefiona Empire had only a few powerhouses of this level. So one such powerhouse coming should have been more spectacular.

But that was not the case. This lady was introduced very casually and she was also given the role of being the head of food research department. That actually sounded like a joke but as it was being declared by the emperor officially, it was definitely not one.

So the officials were very confuse about this whole thing. But there was another thing that surprised them too. And that was the sudden appearance of Venessa as the new student of the emperor himself. People were especially surprised about how weak she actually was.

The Emperor taking someone as his student was not usual but not too rare either. But him taking someone as weak as her as a student really looked very bizzare.

As for Rosalie, the treatment that she got was the most normal one. She was already familiar with a few of the mages whom she had met in the library and all of them were impressed by her depth of knowledge. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

Not just that but Rosalie also had good credentials as an elite member of the truth guild. Someone like that becoming the head of a magic related department was actually the most predictable thing in the world.

All in all, even though some people were surprised, these new additions were received positively and that was true for Venessa too. The people assumed that she must have crazy high potential even if her current strength was low, which was actually true.

But there was one person who was very shaken by this display. And that person was none other than the first prince, Dominic. And his reasons for being shaken was the fact that he was aware of some of these ladies’ identity.

He had kept an eye on Azusa’s movements when she had came back. And according to the reports that he had gotten, these ladies should have been with her.

The mages who had seen Rosalie in the library were not really the talkative or gossip loving type. So they had not spread the news about Rosalie at all. That was why, the reveal of these three ladies was new to Dominic.

After getting rid of his sister, Dominic had actually completely forgotten about the people who were with her. As all of them were not very strong according to the report, he had not given them any attention.

As for the level 9000 plus powerhouse, he had thought that after Azusa suddenly disappearing, he had left the world. As no news about him had reached Dominic after some time had passed, that was a natural conclusion in his mind.

But now it looked like that was not the case. And this sudden new truth made him worried and bothered. So after the meeting was over for the day, he went to meet with his father, the emperor alone in his private office.

The ladies had expected him to be bothered about the appearance of the ladies but they had not expected the first Prince to directly come and meet with his father in the current situation.

Was this his stupidity or bravery in action ? The ladies were not sure. But no matter what, it actually quite impressive. Draegor also did not reject him and decided to meet with this son of his.

As soon as Dominic came in, he just slightly bowed to the emperor and immediately started to ask him about the ladies. This was a little disrespectful but Draegor was known for not minding manners too much, so he did not say anything about this matter either.

As for his question about the ladies, Draegor had an answer prepared already. So he told his son exactly that.

"These briliant ladies had came to my castle with a fellow supreme. After talking with them, I found that they are all excellent in their fields. So I am using their talent for the benifit for the nation. Do you have a problem with that ?"

Hearing the suspicion in the emperor’s tone, Dominic became a little flustered and scared. Even though he had been thinking his Father as a captive puppet already, when he was before his mighty presence, Dominic could not help but feel cold.

But still, there was a question that he needed to ask. Or all his and his supporters plans could fail. And this question was regarding the current situation about the supreme powerhouse in question.

Dominic asked this question in such a way that it looked like he was just curious about why the arrival of a supreme was not celebrated throughout the whole empire. This way, he tried to show that he was not trying to gather any information and was just curious about this matter.

Even without knowing about his current betrayal. The way Dominic spoke was very suspicious to anyone who was a bit perceptive. Draegor was actually disappointed to see this as it turned out that this schemer son of his was actually not good at acting and scheming either.

Even though Dominic tried to do his best to not show his relieved expression on his face, Draegor was still able to notice it. Now it was getting a bit ridiculous about how bad Dominic was in masking his feelings.

After this, Dominic happily left the office in a good mood. As he now had good and valuable information for the orginisation, he was in a very pleasant mood.

After Dominic left, Draegor let out a sad sigh and then immediately after that, his face became serious and cold. Then he stood up from the chair and disappeared from the from this room. His destination obviously was the secret room where his daughter and kind helpers were currently staying.
