Chapter 1061: Ch 1061: Outing With Alexandriana

The very first place where Elena took the ladies was a small shop located in a very dirty slum like area of a small city.

Even though the Otrefiona Empire was a massive and very prosperous universal grade nation, with so many worlds being a part of this, obviously areas like this also existed in it.

As for why Elena had brought everyone to a place like this, that was obviously because she wanted them to try something here. As for what it was, that would soon be reveal to them.

While Elena and the ladies were outside the restaurant, they were using presence isolation to hide themselves. But after coming in, there was no need for that and all the ladies revealed themselves.

Sensing their presence, a young man came out of the kitchen to see what was the case. The young man was only about 1.3 meters tall and had cute looking ears at the top of his head. He was from a race called Fagvil and he was already fully grown in terms of height.

As soon as the young man saw Elena, he immediately made a shocked expression and quickly bowed his head. After the whole nationwide broadcast, there was almost no people in the Otrefiona Empire who was not aware of Elena’s face and identity.

And it was not just Elena who was present here. Even the great first princess of the nation, Azusa was here too. So obviously the young man would get shocked out of his mind after seeing them in his insignificant place.

Seeing this, Elena gently smiled at the man and told him to not worry. Then she happily congratulated him and handed him a golden card. This was the proof that he had became an inner member of the Guild of Eternal Feast.

Seeing this, both Agmi and the young man were shocked. Agmi had not expected the first cook to pass Elena’s trial to be in a place like this and the young cook had also not expected to actually pass the test.

As soon as this realisation hit him, tears started to fall from his eyes. Now finally he could get out of his current hellish circumstances.

The young man who was chosen by Elena was named Tuji. His family was very poor and as he had seven younger brothers and sisters, they felt even poorer.

As Tuji was the oldest child, in a situation like this, he was suppose to start working from a young age and provide for his family. But he had a dream of his own. A dream to make good food to impress a lot of people.

In his childhood, once he had made some pancakes for his younger siblings. Seeing their smile while eating the food made by him was an experience that he was never able to forget for the rest of his life and that was also what had given birth to his desire to become a cook.

Fortunately for him, his father and mother both were extremely supportive. They helped him out in any way they could. From somehow providing the initial funding for his business or to help him find books related to cooking, they had tried their best to help Tuji in fulfilling his dream.

Not just them but even his younger siblings had started to work harder in many things so that their beloved big brother could focus on his dream of cooking amazing foods. And all of them had done so with smiles on their faces.

With this kind of support, there was no way Tuji could give 100 percent of his efforts to cooking. Giving anything less than 120 percent would be an insult to the sacrifices that everyone was making for him.

So he had worked extremely hard in perfecting his cooking and had opened a small restaurant here. Actually with his families financial situation, they could not afford any other place.

He had a lots of hopes and dreams but unfortunately for him, none of those had came true. He had gotten in a slight conflict with a local gang, so with them playing tricks, his restaurant was getting almost zero customers. They had even spread nasty rumours about this place.

In this situation, while his family was struggling for him, he himself had no positive results to show. So, Tuji was feelings so terrible that he had felt many times that he should just end it all and give up on his impossible looking dream.

But then, before he could actually give up on his life, as if the gods were showing him a way, this food festival was declared. And seeing this as his only opportunity, he did his absolute best to make a dish and send that to Elena for testing. And the result of this decision was his victory.

Actually, the food made by Tuji was one level below the threshold that Elena had set for the cooks to whom she was going of give the complete support of her orginisation. But even then, she had made an exception for this young man because of his circumstances.

Tuji never had a proper training or enough ingredients to properly practice. But even then, he had managed to come this far. To someone like him, Elena was ready to give her full support.

As the ladies ate the pancakes and various other sweets that he had made, they understood why Elena had made her decision. Even though his food was nowhere near the level of Elena’s, all of them had a very distinctive taste and even to non food experts like Rosalie and Venessa, these foods were radiating diligence and sincerity.

Hating a food like this was almost impossible. So all of them thoroughly enjoyed this. Even for Alexandriana, as she tasted these regular foods that provided no benefit for her at all, she still felt extremely satisfied and even ordered seconds. This kind of experience was something that she was having for the first time in a very very long time.

After the ladies were done eating here, Elena teleported them away again to a different world. And this time, they appeared in front of a large and luxurious looking restaurant.

This place was also super busy. There were a lot of people who was gathering here in the spirit of the festival and were having fun.

But obviously as soon as Elena appeared alongside the first princess herself, the people immediately gave way. But Elena did not go to the ordering station and instead came before one of the ladies who was serving food in this place.

Then Elena handed her a card which was silver in colour. Elena explained to her that even though her food had failed to match the standard that was needed for her to win the challenge, it was good enough to impress Elena.

So even though she was not going to get the unconditional support from the Guild of Eternal Feast, she was getting an Invitation to join as a regular inner member. She was would still get a lot of opportunities and in the future, with her skills improving, she would even have the opportunity to get the position that she had missed this time.

Obviously if she was unwilling to join at the moment and would rather try again after getting better, Elena was fine with that too. So what decision was this lady going to make ?
