So as they went inside the village, they came across a man carrying a dead chicken in his hand. Just as the other man had said, he looked tired and almost like a dead person.

It was the intellectual man who went to talk with him. He started the conversation with polite speech and the answer that he got was just as polite. But as the face of the man had not changed even a little bit during the whole conversation, the atmosphere was definitely creepy. And the blood dripping from the dead chicken did not help the situation.

Obviously the intelligent man did not said anything directly, but he tried to indirectly imply that this village was different from other villages out there and tried to probe the reason. And whenever something like this was brought up, the villager completely ignore it as if this question had never even been asked.

So the first man turned out to not be very helpful. But still, the intelligent man was unwilling to give up. So he immediately tried to find a second person.
