The receptionist looked at the Black Gold Card in Yun Zijin’s hand, a little perplexed.

She had been working at the front desk of Yungong No. 1 for several years now, handling payments and the like. She’d seen her fair share of black cards, but this was the first time she’d ever come across one that looked like this.

However, she didn’t assume Yun Zijin’s card was fake. With utmost professionalism, she accepted the Black Gold Card from Yun Zijin and began to process the new membership.

After inputting the membership information, she finally saw the successful deposit confirmation. The receptionist was incredibly relieved she hadn’t acted rashly just because she hadn’t recognized the card.

This was also partly because Yun Zijin had been thoroughly pampered by the system, and she now exuded a natural, deep-seated confidence. Even though her clothes and accessories were understated, they made her seem elegantly discreet rather than plainly poor.

"Your membership card is all set. You’re currently a standard member, which allows you to reserve private rooms on the first through third floors. Here is the reservation number. Feel free to call directly whenever you need to make a booking.

Here are your membership card and your bank card. Please keep them safe. Is there anything else I can help you with?"

Having personally signed up a new member, the receptionist’s smile was now noticeably more genuine.

"Tell me about your club’s requirements for upgrading membership."

’I probably won’t come here often, but it doesn’t hurt to understand the upgrade system.’

"The club has five membership tiers: Standard, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Purple Gold.

A Standard membership just requires a one-time deposit of one million. Silver status requires cumulative spending of ten million at the club within the last year. Gold status requires certification of assets worth over one billion, plus cumulative spending of fifty million at the club within a year. Diamond status requires asset certification of over five billion, with the same annual spending of over fifty million. As for Purple Gold, only our owner can extend an invitation. The exact requirements are unknown, and currently, there are only ten people who hold a Purple Gold Member Card."

Hearing the receptionist explain the membership system, Yun Zijin felt she had just found the perfect place to consistently complete her spending tasks.

"So, fifty million in cumulative spending is all it takes? In that case, get me a private room."

Yun Zijin handed the membership card she had just received back to the receptionist.

’This overwhelming fortune... has it finally fallen into my lap?’

"Right away!"

’She gets a commission from any spending at the club by a new member she signs up!’

Taking Yun Zijin’s card, she immediately picked out a very auspicious room for her—Private Room 66.

"Miss Yun, I’ve opened Private Room 66 for you. Someone will show you the way. Enjoy your meal!"

As soon as Yun Zijin took her membership card, a server approached to lead the way.

A short while later, the server stopped before the door to a private room. "Miss Yun, this is Room 66."

Yun Zijin took out the key card the receptionist had given her, swiped it, and the door opened.

"Miss Yun, would you like to order now?"

Yun Zijin nodded. Of course she was ordering now.

She had another engagement later, so she couldn’t eat too much herself, but Zero One and his men hadn’t eaten yet. Yun Zijin didn’t even glance at the prices, ordering whatever caught her eye. She even paused to ask Zero One and the others for their preferences.

For seven people, the total for their order came to exactly four million. Yun Zijin couldn’t suppress the smile on her face.

Although the task wouldn’t be officially completed until after the meal when she paid the bill, she had already met her spending goal for the day, and Yun Zijin couldn’t help but feel delighted.

’I really should learn from these rich kids. Spending a few million on a single meal... isn’t this exactly what I need?’

"Eat whatever you want! It’s on me today!"

’Four million is nothing! Just a drop in the bucket.’

Zero One and his men all thanked her humbly, but when they sat down, they still maintained a respectful distance from Yun Zijin.

Yun Zijin might not mind, but they had to be aware of their own positions.

"I’m having dinner with a few friends at the Tianhe Banquet today. I was wondering if I might have the honor of having Miss Yun join us?"

Lu Yunque’s refined voice came through the phone. For the first time, Yun Zijin realized she might have a thing for voices.

"That’s really too bad. I just promised Sheng Yang I’d hang out at Yungong No. 1 tonight at seven."

Even though she and Lu Yunque were friends who had met a few times, it was a matter of first come, first served, and his invitation had simply come too late.

"Sheng Yang? At Yungong No. 1?"

Lu Yunque clearly hadn’t expected that Yun Zijin had also made plans with Sheng Yang.

"That’s right. He said he was curious about the ’marvelous woman’ who managed to snatch that plot of land from right under the noses of Young Master Lu and the other Crown Princes. And since I happened to have something to discuss with Sheng Yang today, we decided to meet up."

Since it wasn’t her party to host, Yun Zijin didn’t extend an invitation to Lu Yunque.

"Alright, I understand. Since Miss Yun already has plans, I won’t bother you any further."

Not long after she hung up, there was a knock at the door. Ling Qi went to open it.

The server brought in some snacks, cut fruit, desserts, and drinks that Yun Zijin had ordered for herself.

Meanwhile, after hanging up, Lu Yunque turned to Sheng Hao.

"Your brother already invited her. She’s planning to be at Yungong No. 1 tonight."

Sheng Hao’s eyes narrowed when he heard this.

"He’s already spent his entire allowance for the month. How does he have money to fool around at Yungong No. 1? That pack of hangers-on he calls friends certainly won’t be footing the bill."

Sheng Yang had been too sheltered by them. He was naive and trusted people too easily.

Knowing that Sheng Yang was always surrounded by people who treated him like a walking wallet, Sheng Hao had stopped giving him any extra allowance.

He got a fixed amount each month. Once that was gone, he had to come home for his meals and a place to sleep. As long as he didn’t starve, that was good enough.

"Who knows? Surely he’s not making Miss Yun pay, is he?"

Who takes a girl out these days and makes her pay?

"Well... if Sheng Yang can’t pay, then Miss Yun will have to," Li Yuexing said with a smile.

Sheng Hao was rendered speechless.

"We’re going to Yungong No. 1!"

Fu Ze shrugged. The Sheng Family’s second young master truly was his older brother’s kryptonite.

His objective achieved, Lu Yunque’s lips curved into a slight smile. He picked up his jacket from behind him, draped it over his arm, and followed Sheng Hao out.

Fu Ze and Li Yuexing exchanged a look. Well, so much for dinner tonight.

"Let’s go. To Yungong No. 1."
