"Who? Old Lü, who did you say was flying the plane?!"

Vice President Liu was floored when he heard Lü Dong. ’Did I hear that right?’ he thought. ’The one who pulled off the emergency landing was the Chairman!’

Help was too far away to be of any immediate use. What could they do? After a moment of thought, the commander quickly spoke.

"Uh, that won’t be necessary, sir. The Chairman has already handled it."

After giving his instructions, the commander put down the radio and went to report the situation to his own superior.

Meanwhile, on the ship, the clever Bai Menghan quickly learned how to pilot the vessel under Fang Chenyi’s patient instruction.

As for Xiaozhou and Lü Dong, they were completely lost. Aside from a few of the most basic controls, they hadn’t learned a thing.

Gazing through the window at the others resting on deck, some sitting and some lying down, Fang Chenyi turned to Bai Menghan and spoke.

After turning down offers from Lü Dong, Xiaozhou, and several other men to go with him, Fang Chenyi headed below deck alone.

Perhaps because they suspected it might be dangerous, everyone stayed on deck. Not a single person had ventured into the cabins.

Seeing the empty cabins, Fang Chenyi nodded in satisfaction. He walked through the filthy, chaotic interior and pulled out his woven bag.
