[Host has picked up a worn-out retro game console, triggering a special system reward. Reward: Unbeatable Gaming Talent skill. The reward has been deposited into the Host’s Sea of Consciousness. Please extract it at your convenience.]

"Uh, a reward of ’unbeatable gaming talent’? What the hell am I supposed to do with this?"

Fang Chenyi was completely focused on becoming the world’s richest man and reaching the pinnacle of life. ’Now I’ve suddenly been given unbeatable gaming talent? Isn’t this just a complete waste of time...’

He walked out of the study, shaking his head helplessly at this useless skill.

"Hehe, Boss, I’m back."

Looking at Wei Yilong, who had changed into a fresh set of clothes, Fang Chenyi nodded. He pushed the thought of the special reward aside and started toward the door, saying:

"Perfect timing. Come on, help me move some things and tell me how the company preparations are coming along."

He jogged to keep up with Fang Chenyi, and they soon arrived at the garage.

Wei Yilong froze, staring at the numerous wooden crates of all sizes in front of him.

"Boss, what is all this stuff? Why’d you get so much?"

Fang Chenyi had never been very strict with Wei Yilong, so although Wei Yilong was respectful, he was also quite casual around him. Seeing the garage piled high with boxes, he squatted down, grabbed a small cardboard box, and began to open it.

"Heh, just some stuff for the house. Holy crap, can you be a little more gentle!"

By the time Fang Chenyi spoke, Wei Yilong had already pulled a small bowl from the box. After a quick look, he decided it was uglier than the bowls he ate from at home and casually tossed it back into the bubble-wrap-filled container.

Seeing this, Fang Chenyi couldn’t stop himself from rapping Wei Yilong on the head.

Wei Yilong yelped, clutching his head and wailing:

"Ow! It’s just a crappy bowl, Boss, what’s the big deal? Fine, whatever. I’ll bring you a truckload of nicer-looking ones later."

Fang Chenyi picked up the bowl Wei Yilong had tossed aside and carefully inspected it. Once he confirmed it wasn’t damaged, he shot Wei Yilong an annoyed glare, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.

"A whole truckload, you say? Are you sure? How about this, it doesn’t even have to be a big truck. Just fill up that Raptor of yours. And I won’t take them for free. You bring me a truckload, and I’ll give you half a million. How’s that sound?"

Wei Yilong wasn’t an idiot. He immediately caught Fang Chenyi’s meaning and chuckled awkwardly.

"No, no, I never said that, Boss... Wait, don’t tell me this little bowl is an antique?"

Fang Chenyi shot him another look. "Obviously. If it weren’t an antique, why would I want such an ugly piece of junk? This thing alone is worth five hundred thousand."

"What? Half a million for one?! Boss, you’re such a spendthrift! Uh, Boss... don’t tell me this entire garage is filled with antiques! Holy moly, going by the size of this little bowl, wouldn’t all this be worth hundreds of millions?"

In truth, Wei Yilong had sensed from the beginning that it wasn’t an ordinary bowl. But seeing a garage packed with boxes, he had just assumed they were all replicas Fang Chenyi had bought for decoration. Who could have imagined they were all authentic?

Annoyed, Fang Chenyi gave Wei Yilong another rap on the head.

"What are you talking about? Your boss isn’t a spendthrift, this is called having taste, okay? It wasn’t that much, maybe four billion in total. Now stop dawdling and help me move this stuff inside."

GULP. Wei Yilong swallowed hard. Staring at the mountain of items, both large and small, he was truly stunned. This was a classic case of poverty limiting one’s imagination. ’Four billion... spent on a pile of pots and jars? He must be out of his goddamn mind!’

"Oh my god, four billion!! Boss, you spent four billion on *this*?! Holy crap! And here I am scrimping and saving on our project... No, this won’t do. We need to add more to the project’s budget! Yes, we have to! At least another hundred million!"

Looking at Wei Yilong’s passionate outburst, Fang Chenyi actually agreed with him. If he hadn’t gotten all this by trading that art album, he would never have spent billions on these trinkets, not even if he’d lost his mind.

Of course, the project Wei Yilong was managing was poised to become Fang Chenyi’s main source of future income. So, forget an extra hundred million—Fang Chenyi wouldn’t hesitate to approve two hundred or even five hundred million more if it was necessary.

"Alright, alright, let’s get moving. As long as you can make the project a success, you won’t even have to ask for more investment."

As he spoke, he picked up a large vase in each hand and headed into the villa.

Hearing this, Wei Yilong’s face instantly lit up. ’The project is already massive as it is. If we get more funding on top of that... it’s almost too incredible to imagine.’

He carefully cradled the small bowl in his hands as he followed Fang Chenyi. Seeing him use both hands to carry a single, palm-sized bowl, Fang Chenyi was at a loss for words.

And so it went. At first, Wei Yilong handled everything with extreme caution, terrified of chipping or breaking something. After a while, however, he seemed to grow numb to it all and started carrying items one in each hand, just like Fang Chenyi.

The two of them worked for two or three hours and finally managed to arrange more than half of the antiques in the living room.

Dusting off his hands, Fang Chenyi scanned the living room and couldn’t help but purse his lips.

"Somehow, this doesn’t look as good as it did before..."

Wei Yilong, standing to the side, pursed his lips and muttered to himself, ’Well, duh. It’d be a miracle if these old things looked better than modern decorations.’

WOOF WOOF WOOF~

Just as Fang Chenyi was frowning at the newly arranged antiques, he suddenly heard Er Gouzi and Wang Keke barking outside.

Puzzled, Fang Chenyi turned his head toward the door. ’Who could that be?’

Just as his gaze shifted to the entrance, he saw a man in a baseball cap walk up to the courtyard gate, laughing as he called out:

"Haha, President Fang, you home? I came uninvited, hoping to bum a meal off you."

Before Fang Chenyi could speak, Wei Yilong, who was standing beside him, suddenly blurted out in shock:

"Holy shit, is that Principal Wang?! Boss, you even know Principal Wang?!"

At that, Fang Chenyi gave Wei Yilong a sly grin. "What are you talking about? He’s just a junior, that’s all."

With that, Fang Chenyi led the way out of the villa. He saw Principal Wang squatting down, calling to Wang Keke, only to be completely ignored. Fang Chenyi laughed and called out:

"Well, well, what brings you here? Haha, looks like your dog’s already forgotten its original owner. Alright, never mind that. You’re just in time. Come on, give us a hand with some of this stuff."
