Kong Lingchuan’s cheek burned, and his anger reached its peak, but he said nothing more and stormed off.

The room suddenly turned quiet. Kong Lingwen, pulling Yang Cheng along, was about to leave when Kong Jingshan stopped her.

"Lingwen, I know you hate me. I thought your mother’s death was just an accident, but I didn’t know it was Cao Yumei’s doing. I’m sorry to you both."
