Sequence Highway Survival: I Upgrade Supplies in the Apocalypse

Chapter 406: Oasis -

Although they had escaped from the Oasis.

Countless Anomalies were still lurking outside the Oasis, watching with covetous eyes.

The Pink-haired Girl gritted her teeth, her body flipping onto the roof of the car as nimbly as a swallow.

The Fire Dragon Sword was drawn once more.

Though her bright eyes were filled with exhaustion.

This woman still clenched her teeth: "Little Fish, get closer to Chen Ye!"

The unmanned off-road vehicle shuddered slightly, as if reluctant, but still moved closer to Chen Ye's Monster Pickup Truck.

The Pink-haired Girl had sensed earlier that something was off with Chen Ye after he used that move.

Seeing Chen Ye unresponsive, the girl could guess that Chen Ye was probably in a bad state now.

Getting closer to him, at the very least, she could protect him.

"Don't be afraid, I'm still here!"

Iron Lion was like a human tank, moving alongside the convoy.

Anything that dared to pounce, no matter what it was, would be met with a heavy, powerful punch from this guy.

A fist glowing with golden light, combined with Iron Lion's punch.

If anything still didn't get the message, it would definitely face a sword strike from the Pink-haired Girl.

Ding Dong was also in an extremely wretched situation at this moment.

As a Sequence 2, participating in the previous battle had already been a huge stretch for her.

Not dying was sheer luck.

But now...

This woman still dragged her exhausted body, climbing out of the car window and sitting cross-legged on the roof of the Panel Van.

The Panel Van was right behind Chen Ye's Monster Pickup Truck.

Chen Ye thought for a moment, then directly tossed the Blasting Star from his waist towards her.

Ding Dong was stunned for a second, then, without saying a word, caught it.

Chu Che's forehead and the top of his head were beaded with cold sweat.

The sweat trickled down his cheeks into his neck.

In Chu Che's perception.

The area around Oasis City was filled with Anomalies.

There was almost no way out.

The convoy's Superhumans had been fighting repeatedly and were already nearly depleted.

If another major battle like before occurred, the convoy wouldn't survive.

Without another word, Chu Che leaned half his body out of the car window.

A small knife slid across his palm, and drops of crimson blood dripped from his hand.

It wasn't just Chu Che doing this.

Several other pathfinders were doing the same.

Auntie Zhao also let blood drip from her palm onto the ground.

An ancient, mysterious power was awakening.

"Trembling, my blood is offered here!"

As Chu Che chanted this incantation.

Several other voices around him chanted the same line simultaneously.

"Heaven and Earth diverge, all phenomena run wild!"

The surrounding voices and Chu Che's voice rang out together.

"Heaven and Earth diverge, all phenomena run wild!"

This was the sound from other Sequence 3 pathfinders.

"High above in the unseen, Lord of Fate!..."

"Pray to bestow a sliver of heavenly light, illuminate this—Blood Path, return to fate!"

"Covenant formed!!!"

The last two words seemed to stir some mysterious power.

A rift was torn open in the clouds above by some mysterious force.

Several beams of bright light descended.

Several blood-red paths appeared before each convoy.

Chu Che, overjoyed, pointed at a blood path ahead.

"Xue Nan, hurry!"

The others did the same.

However, Chu Che's and Auntie Zhao's blood paths actually pointed in the same direction.

Now that they had received guidance, everyone hesitated no longer, stomping their foot directly onto the gas pedal.

Brakes were the last thing needed at a time like this.

Chen Ye's gaze swept past, seeing Xu Linhao's convoy over there.

And the poker face of the Knife Sharpener Ye.

The three exchanged glances, a sort of farewell.

Whether they would ever meet again, or even if they could meet again, was uncertain.

Perhaps this was the last time.

A truck and a bus behind them paused briefly.

The cat-eared, cat-tailed girl on the truck roof quickly asked: "Aunt Xue, which group do we follow?"

The thirty-year-old mature woman in the driver's seat gritted her teeth, her eyes fixed on the direction the Fair Convoy had taken.

The child wearing sunglasses beside her silently lowered her head, seemingly ashamed of her own powerlessness.

"Follow them..."

The woman gritted her teeth and stomped on the gas.

The other vehicles behind them did the same.

But after only a slight hesitation, they all chose a convoy to follow.

Pathfinder Sequence 3 Blood Path Sacrificer.

Using their own blood to pray for a sliver of life in a desperate situation.

The old man from Divine Elephant Village had used this ability before.

Now, Chu Che was Sequence 3.

He could also use this ability.

And so, the convoy raced wildly through the night, swaying and bumping.

No one knew where the destination was.

They just wanted to get far away from this Anomaly-infested place.

A gaunt old man, wrapped in a robe, with white hair and a white beard, stood atop the high city wall of Oasis City.

He stared blankly at the expanse of gray below, not saying a word for a long time.

A gentle breeze blew, lifting the old man's robe.

The once bustling Oasis was now as quiet as a Ghost Domain.

No sounds of children playing.

No curses from women.

No hearty shouts of men calling their friends.

All the noisy sounds that once felt bothersome were now gone.

All was quiet...

Quiet to the point of discomfort...

Not even the occasional strange cries from Anomalies could be heard.

Only black and gray filled the view.

Dawn had not yet broken, making even the color white a luxury.

"Clearly... clearly we had it all planned out before..."

"Clearly... clearly we all wanted what was best for the Oasis..."

"Clearly..."

"Ding Shen, aren't you the guardian? Didn't you say the city lives if its people live, the city dies if its people die?"

"Where are you?"

"Ma Qing, you lied to me, you lied to me..."

"I told you long ago, my abilities are limited, I can't be the City Lord, and now look, now look..."

"I'm so stupid! I'm too stupid!"

"I'm not a qualified City Lord!"

"I said it long ago, I'm not a qualified City Lord..."

"The Oasis... is gone..."

The old man's figure trembled slightly, his back shuddering, as if he might fall from the city wall at any moment.

Or as if a gust of wind might come from somewhere and blow the old man away...

Suddenly, the old man seemed to remember something.

He roared towards the sky: "Ma Qing, you lied to me... Ma Qing..."
